That isn’t entirely accurate. While additional reports are part of the social aspects of the system and certainly can impact the reporting process, that doesn’t mean that a single report cannot cause a name to be reviewed and subsequently changed.
Again false. The Right Click Report option was originally implemented to help address the rampant gold and illicit service spam that often plagued the game. It was the ease of reporting, which encouraged folks to report, that allowed the system to quickly squelch those ads and allow our staff to deal with them.
It also was part of our /afk / non-participation system to help deal with folks afking in Battlegrounds.
The system was eventually expanded to include Name, Cheating and Bad language reports. That happened around patch 4.3.4, which was the same year that CS went through a reduction in force, but a couple of months after it.
To have any impact on staffing levels it would have had to come out well before so that we could see the numbers involved. The right click reporting option allowed our Game Masters to focus on other areas.
I’ll thank you not to use my friends from 2012 (which did involve CS) or any of the ones from last year (which did not impact CS or QA), for your false narrative.
I’m not seeing an issue in your previous tickets that we could help with, Pepperpup. The most recent contact looks to be an appeal, which was reviewed and upheld, and it seems that you threatened that you’d continue to submit tickets. I would recommend against that.
Beyond that, I see some harassment reports and the Game Master provided information on how best to handle those. Before that was another forum appeal. No actual issues that I can see.
Just as a reference, your comment from the thread yesterday was entirely inappropriate. The second Moderator who replied to your previous appeal did quote the post, but I’ll have the next one quote you the specific line, to hopefully clear up any confusion.
