Yes some do. LGBT or not, people will attack you for anything. Don’t sit here and try to make a certain group like saints.

But nobody is imposing anything, and trans children do exist. I would have had a much better life on the whole if I grew up in a timeframe and locale that was friendly to the idea of being gender-queer in any form.
Replace “No one is” with “No reasonable people are” and you’d be closer to the truth. Just closer though.
If by “Free Speech” you mean “the speech only I want to hear and everything else is removed”
The mental hurdles you have to jump through to ignore the obvious evidence of deleted “speech” and blocked posters on twitter and still call it free speech is amazing. you should be a professional mental parkour player.

There are people who starve their children so they “look good”, do you really think it is that far-fetched for these same types of people to take advantage of their child’s trust in them to chase what they view as a trend. It has happened, as sickening as it is. Denying it doesn’t help anyone, it hurts people being abused right now.
On the other hand, it is extremely rare and you can’t use it as an example to paint the broader community as sickos.

Yeah so much free speech that you can spout of the same rhetoric as the leader of Germany in the 1930s/40s, even use his profile picture, and Twitter will do nothing to you at all.

How will you define “Imposing”? I already know that there are ten year old kids who have supportive families, and cases of blockers at ten because they were starting puberty. Girls sometimes are given blockers because they are starting puberty very young and there are endocrine issues, nothing to do with being trans.
Again, you are out of your element, the crazy stuff is made up for politics, and at the end of the day, it is none of your business how another person raises their kids.

Back in the day left-handed people used to be demonized. Now when we’ve accepted it the population has normalized at 10ish percent of the population. Science evolves. Society evolves. Get with the times or care enough to not hate people for living?

I feel like the word ‘trans’ causes a very strong emotional reaction for some reason. I suspect it’s cause it implies there’s already some sort of transition that happened, but I think usually when people talk about these things in relation to children it’s about about being kind and supportive to them instead of shaming and inflicting pain/trauma on to something they literally can’t control

No, I’m saying that you’ve not kept up with the current research on the topic and this can possibly put you into the realm of bigotry.
I think a big problem is that “disagree” is automatically called “hate.” People are allowed to have differing opinions and views. That does not mean they hate those who aren’t like-minded.
Are there people out there who despise those who don’t think exactly like them? Of course, and that’s on both sides. There are lots of people out there though who, while may not agree with others, accepts the difference in views/opinions and happily carries on with life.
Neighbor across the street where I grew up as a child was an elderly man. He died about 15 years ago. He told me stories about how he was a lefty as a kid and the nuns would whack his hand until he learned to write with his right hand.

Those are very small numbers you are talking about. And if you start looking at stats, parents are mistreating their kids for a lot of things not having to do with being trans. You guys need to start looking at the whole picture! FFS!

Not automatically no. A bigger problem is when people have hateful opinions and feel oppressed when called out on them trying to say they just have a different opinion.
