Probably because “hateful” is very, very open to interpretation. Your definition of “hateful” and mine may be very different, as with others. Again, a lot of people (especially Twitter warriors) view any difference in opinions from their own as “hateful.” Therein lies the problem. It’s very similar to how “trolling” is “anything I disagree with” on the forums.

I see the following pattern all the time:
User says something hateful
Community gets angry and user gets disciplinary action
User claims he just “had a different opinion” and whines about free speech.

And people still sometimes ask me why I blocked Twitter from my network (at the network level, no traffic to or from is permitted) after I deleted my account in early October 2022. It’s dangerous to even go there, even anonymously. Unless you REALLY know how to secure your browser, make sure it has access to NONE of your data, and use a VPN with a server in a different country than you’re in. Which is why I always recommend a virtual machine for that purpose.
Otherwise, ANY data they can get from you, your browser, your search history, your cookie history, etc, will be sold to extremist groups.

Oh no, I think that they’re defending you and implying that I was attacking you rather than say that people need to be up on the topics to participate in the discussion, otherwise they’re likely going to just be spouting faulty research or ignoring the existence of trans people.

That’s not, in-fact, how it works at all. Tomboys still exist - and are very distinct from transgender men and women. Having a more masculine/feminine presentation does not necessarily equal being trans, nor does being trans necessitate those very things.
Gender is fun, interesting, and complicated; I am intrinsically drawn to femininity, but not every transfemme is. Some prefer more masculine aesthetics, for example.

The point is that there is not an Ideology being pushed, and hrt of any kind is given by licensed doctors, under legal standards, accompanied by mental health records. There is no stream of children being tortured for their parents gender desires.
Are there some instances that are not being done as healthy in the home as they should? Probably are, but that happens like you said with many types of things. The whole anti-trans movement is very political, not only here but other countries as well, being led by similar types of politicians. Trans kids are not new, but it was dragged out and tarred and feathered because of the acceptance it was getting.

Heres the thing, if you have been misled and do not know much about it medically, there are ways to find out more information to learn about it. If you judge it using wrong information and that is your stance, then it’s bigotry. Go look in the dictionary.
