Never discuss politics with clients, guild mates, or rando pug people. 
Sometimes it’s better to not even discuss with family or friends.
I can understand how someone might look at a situation like this and think of the hypocrisy of allowing some things, even though I’m left leaning on pretty much every topic, i don’t think left or right leaning guilds should be advertising based on politics or systems of belief. They should be recruiting based on WoW criteria, nothing more.

The so called friendly guilds are a lot less friendly in reality. They have their own humor that others have to accept.
Rarely is LGBT friendly actually enforced. It’s just something plastered to a guild’s description without any thought if it applies or not.
