No one ever offers a realistic consequence for knocking a rogue from stealth. It’s always a blatant statement that it’s not enough right now.
When I gets knocked sometimes I still get the open and sometimes the other player is faster and stuns be and GO’S.
As of now, it’s players speed reliant. You see rogue you knock and you make an action to pre setup yourself or peel their open whatever the comp. If you fail to do so then that’s on you and it’s your right to go and ask for some more time ( through a nerf or whatever handout you want) but the countplayer is there.
Current rarely rogues are even running subterfuge. So there’s been two good long seasons to get a feel for that.
I simply am asking for a reasonable expectation? I’m genuinely curious?
Don’t come at me cross just because I’m willing to hear people out so long as they’re not going to be blatantly biased because that’s not a conversation worth having.

Which still doesn’t ruin your “opening go” cause you can use all of your “opener abilities” while out of stealth.
Why run that when you have Dance, or just don’t care about stealth (sin/outlaw)
The reasonable expectation is if a spec is designed to do over your health bar in dmg from stealth, if we get you out of stealth you shouldn’t be able to do that. Unfortunately this game allows rogues to do it anyways.

Okay this is a problem with shadow dance not the punishment from being knocked from stealth. At least for you it is. Sooooooooo nothing I was talking about with the other posters is even relevant to your personal issue.

I’ve beat more R1’s doing viewer 2’s than I’ve lost to (that I recognized at least). I find class power gap being so spaced apart, creating a never-ending swarm of people playing the same stuff to be the most tilting thing.
This game would feel incredible if I queued into some dude who has been a die-hard Enhance main since however long ago just beating my teeth out by being absolutely good at his spec, as oppposed to some dolt gas pedling on a Fury Warrior, and barely escaping death because his healer has Divine Ascention 2 or 3x until I’m out of mana. After watching his healer fumble out every form of CC he has on reset with zero setup because the comp requires little to no synergy.

yea when finding out hunters mark didnt even increase damage anymore was quite upsetting, but getting marked in stealth and if healer doesnt dispels or they arent in range/los forces cloak its def good cd trade for you but but let me disarm your traps agian though please, those were the days

It’s on the back burner atm. I move to days in 3 weeks, I want to refinish the garage while it’s still warm, then do some kitchen/bathroom remodeling when winter hits. Might look into doing a small knife setup that I can put on a cart and wheel outside for next year.
Custom knives sell for thousands if they’re well done, would be a nice side venture that’s actually fun to do.

Yeah bro my main motivation is just cooking knives for personal use.
It would be nice to get very good and just make your own. Even tho I swear just one high quality Nakiri is all you need.

A good chef’s knife is such a huge quality of life improvement. I used to try to chop up red cabbage with a cheap butcher’s knife, it was awful. Lol
