You made a correlation, which is actually very plausible. In order to do his kind of gameplay, you need more than just one acct. And obviously he won’t disclose that publicly.

I will say this: I’m a HUGE FAN of WFOS. That’s all I’m going to say for now. He’s THE BEST MARKSMANSHIP HUNTER in the business. He’s my go-to guy for analyzing the awesomo capabilities of this class/spec. Far better than either BM or SV can do it for me. It’s self-evident that the guy is still running 3’s and is still kicking good tail. He’s still in the game, even now.

If you want to take cuts at me, go ahead and do it about that. Criticize Team WFOS all you want. But it’s just sad to call someone who obviously and apparently isn’t who you think, and when you don’t even know where he actually is and what he’s actually doing. You’re taking it personal…my advice is to stop taking it personal. You don’t seem to have a good grasp of this class anyway, but you’d rather gossip than actually learn something.

bm was outshined by mm and then surv for the entirety of shadowlands for one
it was miserable to play bm on sylvanas because of pet pathing issues and it still is

i always thought of myself as just a hunter player before a insert spec hunter player so if one hunter spec is good im a happy camper, doesnt matter which one. im happy enough with how we have done this season

1 in US (which is me)

Looking at boss damage im even below aug in the rankings ( MM really needs a ST buff and we been needing one since start of the tier, looks like blizzard just stopped changing anything thats not SOD and are buying time for fated.)

sod and retail do not have the same balance teams and there were tuning buffs weeks ago on retail :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

That’s fine if everyone was all it together for the common good. It’s like how police, firefighters, and EMTs are supposed to be “one team, one fight” but firefighters/EMTs are seen as the real heroes and police oftentimes the villains.

“key word weeks ago” which addressed nothing, there hasnt been a steady source of class balance or changes since 10.2.5 which honestly contained nothing. why is that spriest an ww who was simming on low end got buffed to be viable and MM is left to rot? still simming sub 230k on ST in absolute bis, meanwhile stuff like mage which was simming 246k already got buffed to 253k and they was not even doing bad an all the high ranking players was absolutely laughing while mage was already good in raid and part of all the high ranking m+ keys, yet MM down here hasnt been touched, they even buffed survival which is in an similar state to MM. id like to know what data they looking at for changes but MM def needs a buff. only saving grace of this spec has been the tier an play style this raid tier has been amazing.

Apparently you’re asking one of the gossipers that are obsessed over someone that used to hang around here. He was known to be one of the best Marksmen. We can try and dig up his last commentaries on the subject matter.

I tried to help but they’re ticked off and don’t want to say anything now, because they’re more interested in player gossip than actually looking at developments, news, and take engagement in constructive discussions.

Which is why it works best for all–the good, the bad, and the ugly of each Hunter in the community–to draft up a strategy to put those two in their own class. That way they will get that touch, that dev attention. BMs have disproportionately CONSOOMED this class. I’m not surprised that most of the negative reception I got on this are from those with a propensity to gossip. It just plays into the mainstream community’s hands.

Because as I’ve said since the beginning last week, MM has played the same way it has played since BFA launch. That’s six years of the same ol’, same ol’. Six years of “I’m not listening to you” or “I already made up my mind”, which is six years of wasted bandwidth. With SV, the last time it was good was in 9.2.5. Too good to where they had to get busted down.

SVs from late SL lost a certain CRUCIAL core design pattern, something that could have been big and successful for all SV mains and enthusiasts.

What better way to keep Hunters on the BM reservation than 1) a terribad melee SV getup and 2) an overly complicated and clunky Marksman getup? VERY VERY FEW Hunters actually CAN survive on their own OUTSIDE the BM reservation, and if you ask them, they’re fine and dandy.

It’s the BMs that are 1) nowhere near as gud to compete as SV or MM and 2) don’t want to reroll or quit the game that are the problem element. They may also be scared that they will be alone despite that BM has everything it needs–and can get more–to stand on its own. BMs getting their own class means REWORK. Said rework might actually upset the apple cart of easy, hands-off DPS.

There might actually be COMPLEXITY regarding managing the plethora of pet families and all that stuff. And they may lose their traditional place in the meta too. Scaaaarryyy.

The short version of this: it’s all about maintaining the pro-BM main status quo that keeps MM and SV(withstanding the elite few) in the dust. I have a way to utterly destroy this status quo.

What are you even talking about, lay off the drugs man lol.
What we need is a competent or maybe just a dev at all, its clear that the specs are handled by a different dev and each dev is responsible for multi-classes. i know start of DF we had a pretty dedicated dev who was cmmunicating changes and asking for feedback all thoughout the beta and hunter got a decent ammount of changes, then that guy disapeared and now its been this way ever since.

I never argued against reliable, dependable devs. That doesn’t necessarily refute a “Brexit” though. It would just mean you’d have a dev or two that will overlook SV/MM and a dev overlooking BM, in two different houses. *It gets even better when the devs would not feel any pressure to kowtow to the spec(s) he/she are not in charge of.

A Ranger dev won’t need to hear it from the Hunter or Beastmaster class. He just needs to hear it from MM Ranger and/or SV Ranger. He/she is a lot FREER to manage.

BUT! If we’re going with your way, as I told Luna BM is going to have to get their can kicked when needed for the greater good. I don’t see that happening based on the history.

And all this is. No drugs except caffeine and there’s nothing doing about getting off that. Look at the history: look at what has consistently happened and look at what has NEVER happened.
