The effect on my PC is bugged really, really bad. It not only doesnt disappear for 30/45 seconds but it also pulsates a strobing light effect that makes me feel sick during that time. I contacted their support but they just told me to post on the forums here so how do I turn off the epileptic seizure-inducing bugged out portal?

Huh I’ve had it flash once after getting off the ride but not like that. Have you tried /reload ui or just logging in/out from the character screen? Then there’s the normal advice like make sure your Direct X and drivers are up to date.

Yeah lots done. Blizzard support directed me here. I guess players have some sort of root access to this game and can sort out issues for its players? Not sure why this was their recommendation but here we are.
For whatever reason, that portal effect in both oribos and the Tazavesh Gambit going to hyldebrandt fight arent programmed to be affected by that setting.
