What would be interesting is to see what they do after Wrath, if they did Classic+ i’d actually be interested esp. if we get a lot of QoL from Retail but if they just push onto Cata and get rid of Wrath just like they did to TBC servers then idk, that’s not going to go over well imo.
They should literally just do the opposite of anything you ask for, at any point, in any thread. You’re the literal worst type of player that they should NOT cater to.

I would love to see a classic+ but, QoL changes from retail? I don’t think would interest me at all. Maybe try some new things? Get creative, take a chance, make a new path. Focus on fun, and not played time and statistics for shareholders. I am pretty sure that WoTLK will be where I remain. Cata does not interest me at all, and if they classic+ with retail elements I won’t even glance at it.
Do something new, be creative or just leave it alone.

Wrath is retail WoW, as was TBC before it. Neither are Classic.

I hope Dragonflight is good and takes retailers and their awful non-Classic suggestions away from here.

Literally never easier in “Classic” terms.
WoW’s PVP with exception of a very brief patch in Cata, and the last 3 major content patches of MoP, has literally almost never been balanced… Not sure what you’re after here. Its an RPG and we knew going in that the PVP is not entirely all that balanced.

you might be surprised, for every expansion there are fans of it, and while Cata is considered by many to be a “BAD” expansion… its a literal order of magnitude better than anything produced by Blizzard since WoD came out.
Guessing you have not played the DF Beta… I am already over the hype, DF is likley to be really crap for all of 10.1 and 10.2, and might be ok by 10.3… Reason being that DF beta is suffering from the same fate as every other BETA since WoD where they stopped listening and the simps, simped for Blizzard always chiming in… “But its not tuned yet”…
TLDR this is what happened to every version since WoD.
How is PvP like? Especially gearing in DF.

Cata was from the beginning of the end. Nothing will change this reality. It was a horrible expansion. Literally millions left the game because of him
