Then go back to retail, surely folks like you are more suited to to it anyway.
I remember lol. Cata was definitely meh. Especially coming off the high of WoTLK.
Yeah, why did they even launch Classic back in 2019 with the obnoxious grind and lack of QoL?!
LOL, this guy.
How does anyone have the time to be 80…
Yea and this same guy said someone who didnt agree with him must be drinking the water from Flint Michigan.
Actually using a IRL issue to insult someone that doesnt agree with him.
A lot of PTO saved, I bet.
I’m getting more and more sure this guy does not play Classic at all.
This expansion has been being played and worshipped and studied for 13 years now. There are no secrets left in this game. Exploits are everywhere.
Yeah I can respect that for sure, I actually never powerleveled or did dungeon grinds as I find most of Wrath dungeons to be insanely boring. I just did it the old fashioned way, got on my BM hunter and ran through all the zones. It was really fun, I def. got a hit of nostalgia.
I guess when I hit max, the end game grind hit me like a truck and the nostalgia fell off haha.
Mhm, this is a great point too. I always sometimes notice that people I meet in Classic spend an absurd amount of time trying to become the “best”/etc and it makes me wonder how their life is really going.
I would even say the same for Retail player, a game is a game and it needs boundaries.
Oh yeah up until ICC it’ll be golden I think too, I wanna see how the raid logging population handles that Ulduar/ToGC sweetspot where a lot of people usually fall off the wagon.
Tbh they should’ve had cross realm and RDF from the very start, but I get that they wanted to maintain it close to the original so it is what it is. I feel like tons of server problems/mega servers/server queues/etc could be solved as the solution already exists.
BM hunter and spamming quests, it went relatively fast!
Raids were great except the whole dragon soul issue. RBG was wonderful. Questing sucked mostly. ANd then the creation of LFR really made it where ppl could just unsub then sub back in some other time and not miss the story.
I was planning on changing jobs anyways so Wrath kinda came at a good time as I was leaving my old company and transitioning into a new one, def. gave me time to grind it out.
If they added this to the start, I and all the people that fought for Classic for years wouldn’t have played it. Classic has been a massive success. Your recommendations are absurd and would have cratered the project at inception.
I just switched also, and basically cashed in 100 hours of it at my previous job and started over with nothing.
We shall see, i do believe people will definitely stick around forever in wrath. It will always have a community. People have been playing this expansion since it came out. It really is a fantastic expansion.
RBG was cool af. I’ll give it that.
You have better accessibility also with 10 man raids, even if they’re less forgiving. That will help to keep people around.
That’s fine, I don’t want you to agree with me as i’m not trying to debate. I’m just voicing my opinion.
I think even now cross realm and RDF would be great as they came out in Wrath too, but i’m sure people have reservations about that.
At the end of the day regardless of what happens to Classic it’s fine, i’m not deeply effected by it as much as the people playing it actively right now.
Ah dang, but man every new job is like a new chapter in life too. Who knows you might really like your new gig and it’ll be a major QoL for you.
Yeah the private server scene is booming tbh for Wrath, but this version of Wrath seems so much different to the servers of Wrath that were maintained for like 10+ years now. Hopefully they at least revert the game back to the original, at the minimum it would be nice to see.
Very kind of you to say. Thank you.
This is an example of a retail tourist. He won’t be missed.
It would be interesting forsure. I think the authentic servers will keep people invested especially to the people who don’t opt in for such servers. Official wrath holds a lot of weight and will have a community for many years to come.
