Then their posture could change.

What about crossroads?
Donât forget gnomes, same thing. They only got gnomeregan back and stopped living in Ironforge recently.
Donât forget trolls, literally living in orgrimmar.
The best hat for the best toons.

Blizzard doesnât care about this spot, they could update posture at any time. Gnomes and dwarves generally have the same posture too. And blizzard could give darkspear trolls a standing upright posture too, itâs up to them.

Or, what you all really mean by this argument:
No, itâs been 30 years, like you said. Should have been added already, right?
Also, this thread already existsâŚ
We all know what is to come. The inevitable creation of a high thread for those desiring them.
As such, I have taken the opportunity to create it on behalf of those whom I stiffly oppose on the notion.
Now for those who feel high elves may not occur, or do not wish to discuss high elves at all, I have my suggestion through half elves, the link can be found below.

That is exhaustively explained hereâŚ
After seeing this entire debacle play out since Void Elves were revealed, I have noticed a couple things. Firstly, that Ion, and thus Blizzard, havenât changed their stance on High Elves since Blizzcon. Secondly, that High Elf Hopefuls keep bringing up the same arguments that they claim supports High Elves.
Despite our Lead Game Director Ion Hazzikostas stating quite clearly on two different live streams that High Elves donât make sense as an Allied Race, why they donât make sense, and that theâŚ

High elves are an iconic Horde race and making them playable on the Alliance would infringe on the Hordeâs identity. Just as Horde shouldnât get playable humans Alliance shouldnât get playable high elves, unless they are sufficiently differentiated from Blood Elves like Void Elves.
Additionally playable Alliance high elves is the most banal option there is, like giving Alliance another horse mount. With limited allied race slots, the Alliance deserves something other than solidifying the most basic fantasy trope. Alliance should receive something that differentiate them from the Horde and every other common fantasy cliche, like sethrak. With Shadow Lands launching soon, promising new and interesting races, I hope we get something unique to the Alliance that also makes WoW more⌠WoW.
Keep WoW weird, say âNo!â to playable Alliance high elves.
Mic drop.
End of discussion.
Over and Out.

Mods have made it clear thereâs supposed to be one thread for all the discussion, thatâs the one up in the thousands already.
