High Elf POSITIVITY Thread 😎

Give us Talendrion’s models please. That would be amazing.

Agreed !
I dont see how the alliance high elfs would be detrimental to the game or the horde.

I doubt anyone would leave the horde to play high elfs, but the high elfs might bring back older players that left the game and even bring in some new player.

A lot of players on the alliance think their AR where very weak and at the end of BfA I can say for sure that I saw very few of the AR being used by the alliance.

So the high elfs could be a smart move to increase the playerbase.

A posture change doesn’t change this.

Correct, that’s why orcs have two postures. If they gave high elves a different one, they would have to give us the same one.

We’re the same race.

Why would they?

The same. Exact. Race.

Do blood elves live with humans?

I always find the use a NE or human model argument dishonest. Could you imagine how enraged people who argue for Alliance high elves would be? It would be void elves all over again.

That doesn’t make them a different race. Just a different political group.

I truly would appreciate reasoning to questions like these so I understand context.

Their posture changed because they live with humans for so long, unlike blood elves who kept their city and live with each other.

It’s been 30 years.

What’s your point?

There’s not even another generation to adapt to that kind of implied change.

It doesn’t require a generation to change posture.

If I moved to some fictional area where people wave their arms completely forward and back as if they were sprinting but while walking, 100% no, that wouldn’t change the way I conduct anything about myself.

That said, why do void elves have our posture?

He’s just spewing nonsense to try and throw you into a tailspin.

The decision to put high elves on the Horde was a great decision, it put an end to the ugly people versus the pretty people narrative and ended the hunch back as the commonality for Horde races. It was an improvement in every way. Putting high elves on the Alliance is not.

They wouldn’t. With how many players that have characters on both factions these days it doesn’t make sense. Some players argue that identity and lore would suffer, but I think high elves on alliance would actually bolster blood elves as I have noted many times in the past.

I doubt it would increase or decrease anything significantly, but it would definitely please more people than mechagnomes did (I know some players love them so not saying that everyone hates them).

I don’t subscribe to the idea that high elves will fix any population issues though, unless their racials caused groups to move their activities to the alliance for raid and such. We don’t need just more players, we need players who participate in group stuff like raid, M+, and PvP.

They never lived with humans for 30 years.

So say WoW continues for 30 in-game lore years.

Are they gonna update it?
