Hidden mail preventing faction change

I recently bought 3 server + faction changes. After server changing my 3 characters to whitemane, they are now stuck on alliance with an error that mail is in my mailbox. I have waited over 24 hours in the case of NPC mail but am still getting the error. I have nobody on ignore so it cannot be that. I just want mail cleared on Wuuv, Wuvl and Wuvsham - whitemane

In nearly every case, the mail is from a quest or due to the Brew of the Month club, which often send out the mail early and it sits pending until the date it is intended to arrive.

If you need the mail cleared so you can faction change, you will need to submit a ticket. You can use Purchase Failure as your category.

so im going to have to wait 2 months to get my ticket answered to finish my half completed transfers? 3 of my characters are just going to be bricked for 2 months? it doesnt take long to find countless forum posts of CS clearing mailbox from forum threads.

how does this known issue not get fixed within the years its been a thing???

What a joke.

Tickets aren’t taking months to be answered. Especially purchase failure ones.

I would not say countless, but they did for a while. Right now though you have to put in a ticket as the forums are not a bypass to the ticket system.

The display is off, the help queue is not that long, do put it under purchase failure for your current issue.

Ticket times are averaging less than 24 hours currently, and most in just a few hours, no where near a month, let alone 2 months.

No idea where you’re even pulling this from. Even though the time quoted when you hover over the open ticket icon is an estimation - it is an estimation based on the oldest ticket in the system. Not your ticket specifically. And at worst, someone else just mentioned their time estimated was 9 days. While still wrong (most are being answered within a day or so at most), it’s nowhere near two months.

I have gotten 2 responses to tickets so far. They have not only refunded my faction changes even though I did not ask for that, but then the subsequent response was to just clear my mail, even though my ticket EXPLICITLY said that there is mail that I cannot see. I have nobody on ignore. It has been over 36 hours - no NPC mail is showing up.

What category do I use to get someone who actually fixes the problem?

This is the most abysmal customer service experience I’ve ever had in my life. Its beyond laughable how bad this has been.

Verk already gave you the category.

And neither of the GMs who responded from those tickets did anything remotely useful.

So, instead of casting shade at everything and everyone and doing your very best to belittle the very people you’re asking help from - what exactly did you write in your ticket? Did you keep it concise, to the point?

“I cannot use my faction changes even though there is nothing in my mailbox. The 3 characters whose mailbox i need cleared are x,y,z. All I need is my mailbox cleared on those 3 characters”

I have nobody on ignore. Its been 36 hours. Theres no NPC mail. I know how to use a mailbox, and theres nothing in it. Yet, somehow, the GM response was still “you have something in your mailbox. log in and clear it and you can use your transfer”.

You’ll still need to re-open the ticket for more assistance. Let them know that the mail is not showing for you to be able to delete it.

I’ve literally done that. 3 times now. All of my tickets have said I cannot see the mail.

Its absurd and incredibly aggrevating that 3 separate blizzard employees have given me canned responses instead of just clearing my mailbox like i have explicitly asked every single time.

If you’re not submitting the ticket to the proper catagory, this can happen, unfortunately. However by having a fit here, nothing can or will be done about it, seeing as this forum is one for players to assist other players. It is not a contact point for the staff. Not a single GM will see this or know your irritation. Vrak is not a GM. He does not resolve tickets. All of the rest of us who have responded here? We are your fellow players. The only thing we can do is get you pointed in the proper direction.

That direction? Submit your ticket here: https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/contact/167/ticket

Not only does it help that you submit your ticket to the proper category so that the ones who specialize in this aspect of things handle it, but that queue of billing and account issues is one that goes a bit quicker since it impacts gameplay rather than general in-game issues.

And once they get it resolved, please do use the survey to address how you think it was all handled. Popping off here, as I said, doesn’t serve any purpose since no feedback is collected from this forum. That survey that comes when a ticket is resolved though? That is taken and directed to the proper staff.

Good luck.

Unfortunately, Wuuv, the first ticket that was answered didn’t say any of that. It simply said that you were unable to use the faction change that you purchased. There was no mention of mail or clearing the mailbox.

Since you claimed you could not use your faction change the Game Master refunded it.

Subsequent tickets did mention the mail, but the refund had already been processed. The next Game Master that answered a ticket did clear the mailbox.

I should note that you had multiple tickets open at the same time, Wuuv. It is best to wait for your first answer prior to submitting more. Doing so can cause a bit of confusion.

As the issue stands now, the mailboxes for the three characters (Wuvsham, Wuuv, and Wuvl) have been cleared and it looks like you have repurchased your faction changes and completed the them. Again, I am sorry for the confusion that may have happened but I’m glad to see the issues have been resolved.

Good luck.
