Has anyone actually changed their mind about RDF?

They feign transparency for like a month or two sometimes and then shut down again, its ridiculous.

Yeah you’re probably right about that I’m willing to bet it will be phase 2 but I still say say if they do put it in they’re going to come up with some.

Stupid fancy way of saying yeah we get it we understand that yeah this actually was really bad and we’re taking your feedback in consideration and with that mind we’re going to be putting in LFD when the 2nd phase hits.

This is the other reason I really do want to get my hands on the Beta because on because honestly I want to see this supposed answer they have to know lfd.

I wish the wow community would realize that it was in fact voice chat getting better and 3rd party websites that destroyed the community. Wow has a community its just not in game. Its on youtube, wowhead, icyveins ya kno the things that make ut so you no longer hadve to ask in /1 for help or advice

One thing’s for sure: Blizzard devs themselves have not changed their minds, rightfully so.

Wife and i were discussing this today, there’s a LOT of out of game community for wow, both retail and classic

Wait until the final weeks of Beta… if they ARE going to go back in there word. It will be in the beta when channels for feedback are a bit more direct.

They didn’t even ask for any input about removing dungeon finder; they just did it. It wasn’t a part of any survey. There were no polls, no threads. Nothing. So when they say they’re responding to Classic players by taking it out…I don’t know where they come up with that.

I remember one thread where someone was asking Wrath not to have dungeon finder, and he was laughed at. I empathized somewhat….before I had really thought about lfd and how vital it is, especially because of what’s happening in TBCC.

Anyway, there wasn’t some huge outcry to remove dungeon finder. This is not Blizz responding to the wishes of the playerbase. This is them simply deciding: you WILL play this way, or gtfo. Which is how they’ve handled retail for years.

My plan is to put in a ticket every day of beta about how RDF is “missing” from the game. Everyone in beta should do so as well. The beta invite (outside of streamers) is supposedly random so it would provide a true random sample for them if we self-poll.

At this rate, I just don’t see that happening. “Feedback,” if you can even call it that, has already been pretty direct. Blizzard just isn’t convinced by the constant strawmans, ad hominens, or other logically fallacious tactics.

I have softened my stance somewhat. If, on pre-patch day, RDF isn’t in the game and Blizzard’s official stance is that they won’t add it in, I’m gone.

If they announce that they will add it in at a certain date, during a specific phase I will most likely continue to play. I am reserving judgment on what compromise they claim to be working on. If I get into beta and get to okay around with it and like it, then yeah I’d probably stick around.

If they stick to their guns for phase after phase and then at some point go back and say “Oops, maybe it really is good.” and add it in, I think I’m just gonna be petty enough to stay away.

Hey if you get your way good for you. If on the other hand it happens… don’t say I didn’t say so.

Either way, I will be playing WotLK so I am not phased.

I have no dog in this race. I don’t really care and will likely enjoy Wrath the same amount if it has LFD or if it doesn’t have LFD.

Yeah, that’s part of the problem with the LFD crowd. Most are just going to play anyway so it comes off as the latest outrage topic.

They want to sell lvl 68 boosts

Alot will disagree with what I’m about to say but wrath is the waiting room for mop (if that ever materializes) for me personally. I know it’s retail lite but mop class design was great.

I enjoyed the real wrath and this knee jerk emotionally driven change bs by blizzard is making me not want to even attempt wrath for round 2.

Dont care either way, as a Tank im getting ported to or summoned to dung, RDF or not. As a tank Ill get something extra, possible DE mats, or gold, or something for doing the Dung, RDF or not. This crap is only going to affect dps classes. Still going to HR what ever I want also. Cause after first week or grinding out of the gear I want will be no reason to do them, and will be one less tank in the pool unless im getting something for going I wont. Just like classic just like TBC.

Issue is ICC back then lasted a full year.

ICC in this version will last 3 months and it’s the end of the game lol.

Because advancing to the next expansion is all about leveling up over and over again?

Nope. I’m all for it still cause blizzard won’t do sh about boosting. Until then my stance stays put.

i still dont care, but i dont want it in the game just to see the dpsers mald

In a perfect world, I don’t want RDF in-game.

But Blizzard let’s gold buyers and bots run free, so there is a very real unfair advantage for new and legitimate players, and RDF would help their situation at least a little bit.
