Has anyone actually changed their mind about RDF?

I don’t really care about RDF but why couldn’t they appease both sides by limiting it to your server?

I’ve somewhat changed my mind on it. I was pro-RDF, but it’s starting to dawn on me that I’ll be playing much less without it, which to be honest is probably a good thing.

With the inclusion of RDF I’ll be making an insane amount of alt’s - Without it I’ll stick to the one max level character most likely

LOL. This is by far the best reason against LFD, and the only believable one, I’ve seen so far.

“I don’t want LFD because it’ll make me actually want to play the game”.

All I know is that once RDF was implemented in Retail, dungeons stopped being about anything more than grinding. I would do a bunch of dungeons in an evening, and not a single word spoken by anyone the entire time. Didn’t really feel like playing with other players at all. Even if I did say something (which I don’t tend to have much to say), it would go entirely ignored.

There’s just something about having to actually find a form a group that gets people talking and working together, and I feel like I always had more fun before RDF came along. I totally understand Blizzard’s motivations for leaving RDF out.

The overwhelming majority want it. The minority whine and cry more often and louder so thats how they get their way. Lets destroy the best game ever by changing it inthe classic version. Dipsticks

Tools are neither social, nor anti-social, people are.

I’ve had anti-social non-LFD groups and extremely social LFD groups.

I’m kinda neutral on the RDF topic as a PvPer, I wouldn’t mind it but if they don’t add it, wouldn’t affect me either. What bothers me the most is the fact that the developers are clearly blind and really out of touch with the community, they still have the “die hard no-changes” mentality which can be dangerous.

For example, them not allowing Race Changes affects me more than RDF. The no changes mentality started on private servers, I remember being a no changes guy but things change, some QoL such as RDF or Race Changes wont just turn Wrath into Retail like some people say in here living on their own “go back to Retail” echo chamber. For what its worth, every Wrath private server that I’ve played for the past 6 years where the devs tried no RDF really didn’t make the population happy in the long term and ended up dying.

lol. it’s like people fighting about politics or religion. Except this is a video game. But, these are adults crying now. 100% entertainment.

Yup.

We’re just yelling at each other because Blizz isn’t going to listen.

They’re listening! They’re just not going to change their minds is all!

100%. They’re clueless. Similar to how they’ve handled retail they think they know what’s best but really have no idea.

I haven’t changed my mind. I like that it won’t be included.

people with weird schedules, or no guild will just quit the game. People will blame RMT and bots but those things don’t actually make people quit the game, they quit because they can’t access the content they want.

“just join a guild”
if you work shift work this isn’t possible because your schedule changes constantly and making it an uphill battle to get into the lowest level content (heroic dungeons) is just going to make them look elsewhere to find a game that doesn’t fight them but instead embraces them.
