The only thing about my guild that’s showing up is that I’m in one… other than that, no chat, no list, even whispers are going unheard by some of my friends…

My guild and communities pane is greyed out on the interface panel of buttons, and my text is not showing up in guild chat. Only guild chat though. I am not seeing people chat in guild chat either, but I am able to see achievements earned by guild members. I’ve whispered a guild member to confirm.

Yeah, that’s about all I heard too. On day three of this problem for me. Just joined the guild too–very upsetting.
I am so happy its not just me, I been going nuts. I have left my guild and re joined few times, would fix it till I’m logged out for a few hours then the issue comes back. I have deleted the character and recovered it and join back in and same thing, but other toon that’s in same guild can see it fine. If you all have the same issue here I feel it’ll be fixed in time and all I can do is wait.

Good to know I’m not alone.
I have the same issue, joined a new guild yesterday and after reload can’t see my new guild, guild chat and roster gives the error, however I can see notifications that new guildies come online/offline in general chat, raised the ticket - no updates yet
Ah, it seems people are having the guild error too. @Blizz Please fix this asap, thanks.
- Able to see guild Message in Guild Chat panel upon log in.
- Unable to see roster. “Lua Error” pops out when i click roster panel.
- Cannot see members and other guild related stuff.
I have tried reloading the game with ALL addons both on “Disabled” & Deleted (Default WoW Settings with 0 addons). Both unable to resolve.
*Note: This issue happened when i joined re-join a guild & logging on the game the next day.

I have had the exact same thing happen on my two alts. Opened a ticket twice, and I was told it will take time to resolve.
how do you promote someone to guild master without opening the guild tab?

worked for a few, then it lost the guild again, /sigh

Typically only until you log out again. They have identified it as a bug and know how to fix it, it just hasn’t been implemented yet. If there was a workaround that we could do ourselves, they would have let us know by now with all these update posts.
