I’d prefer to keep this topic focused on the issue at hand. It’s fair to want more updates on a problem that is impacting you. Lets try to not argue over it.
I left my guild and had them reinvite me. It temporally fixed the issue till I logged out and came back the next day. You could do that for now if you really need to see at the moment.
If you need to see who is on in your guild use the old guild tab /groster. You will have to whisper your guildies but at least you can see who is on
When is this getting fixed? It’s impacting my ability to lead my guild by a large margin.

No. I’ve worked customer service for an electric company. I’ve had to deal with the worst of the worse.
You really think asking for an update is some how unjustified? I’m literally a paying customer and asking a simple question. That being said, I’m not trying to say I’m entitled, but there are many others with the same problem and repeating what others have already said offers absolutely no help.
I like many others have been experiencing this problem for days now and “it’s being worked on” is all that’s been said and your “sit down and shut up” attitude is only fanning flames.
I’m seeing people post on social media who are now wondering what’s wrong… thinking it’s something on their side. Going as far as uninstalling WoW and reinstalling only to find out that it still didn’t fix the problem.
So… going on what? 4 days now? Still no official post, but yet they don’t want people to put in a ticket?
Anyhow…in the meantime, just here. Patiently waiting and wondering.

I’m told there is currently a known issue with this - it’s being looked into. I don’t have any more info at the moment, however.
Unfortunately, Sassoun - I don’t know any more than yes - they know about it and are looking into it. Haven’t heard anything else, yet.
[Update] A fix was deployed last night to repair some of the data issues that caused this. It’s a process that is still running and so some will have been fixed while others are still waiting.
The fix was started last night, but has not completed. It’s an ongoing process so I don’t expect everyone to be having the same experience right now. If I receive any updates or am able to share anything more I’ll be sure to post here about it.

To add onto this, we are also continuing to convey these reports to the teams working on the problem. Game Masters cannot fix this, so please refrain from opening a ticket. If I receive any further updates to share, they’ll be posted here.

Read that last link I just posted. It explains why they don’t want you putting in a ticket. To paraphrase, tickets go to game masters. This isn’t something game masters can fix. Putting in tickets wastes your time and theirs, and means people putting in legitimate tickets have to wait longer (and you seem to acknowledge how annoying it is when you have to wait longer).

So far it’s been three days this has been happening to many of my toons I have reguilded. Kind of frustrating being in a guild and not being able to communicate. The only time this didn’t happen is when I listed my bank guild in guild finder and had a couple of my toons join it. That seemed to work fine.
You would think after this happened last year, they would know how to fix it.
Came to report more of the same. Joined a new guild, had guild chat available. Logged out and lost it. Just looks like i have no guild, even though I can see the MOTD. I went looking for a new guild thinking I had been booted. Joined a new guild, same thing

It looks like they were able to apply a fix to the root cause of this which should help to avoid this happening to new guilds. We’ll continue monitoring for reports just in case.
That said, guilds that were already affected still need to be healed up. I mentioned before, their previous attempt to heal affected guilds had some higher than expected resource costs that started to cause other issues so they needed to pause and revisit that. They’ll be working on that today.
I just think it’s funny that they have known about this since at least friday at latest and here it is tuesday and still fixing. What I find funny about it is that last week when they did the in game voice chat everything was working fine til then with last tues reset guild stuff started acting up
hmm…I’d not checked this till now. I moved a toon and guild from rexxar to proudmoore on Sunday…I’d thought his guild issues (missing tools, etc) were a snafu from the transfer. So I opened a ticket on Sunday. Reading all this I suspect it’s more then likely part of this over all problem. Hope it’s resolved soon. Mahalo

Thank you for the consistent updates to the forums, I highly appreciate your communication about this issue. When can we expect to see this issue resolved? I’m sure you are aware, but I’ve had this issue since Friday evening. I was hopeful that fixes would come at reset. It is not fun to play without the ability to communicate with your guild. I haven’t even logged in to play because of this issue (I log in to see if it’s fixed and then log out).

I am unable to provide an estimate. From the discussions I’ve been able to monitor, it sounds like healing up the affected guilds is the final step and one they are going to work on today. But I cannot say how long it will take to get all of the affected guilds healed.
I hope they take the extra maintenance down time to work on this issue …
Edit: I was just meaning the Time servers are offline would allow freer access to files and programs. Without compromising game play .
