Gonna fix a problem or Cover it up?

Every time I bring my problem of my profession that is missing from my character to blizzard. A resolved ticket gets stuck on this post or message. its super quick to get resolved but the problem is never fixed. Why not Leave it up until its truly resolved? It’s a lie saying its resolved and it’s not. If you’re going to put resolved on my problem, can you also be just as on top of it as you are of putting the resolved tag on it and fix my problem as well? I didn’t unlearn my profession. I looked in the correct area for it. I still have items I’ve crafted in my inventory from that profession. Why is it so hard to request to get my skills back when I didn’t lose them in the first place?

It sounds like it might just be a display issue or that you’re not finding it due to the filters.

But there are no GMs on the forums, so if you feel you still need assistance, a new ticket may be in order.

Why does it got to be something I’m not doing right? I’m very much willing to submit a video of my toon and going through all these processes that possibly could be wrong. I’ve been at this game for the better part of 20 years. When I came back after the war within, my professions on that toon were altered. I submitted tickets then. I have photos of the profession screen showing that I no longer have the formulas as well as the items I crafted from the formulas I “don’t have”. So, either players have the in-game power to forget specific formulas or expansion professions while keeping the profession as a whole, or something happened to my toon. My character is Echigo-Stonemaul that has the missing profession problem. And to say Gm’s don’t read these forums is laughable. They just don’t have to fix problems complained about here.

Does this match up with what you see when you view your Engineering profession panel (i.e., that you have 1 skill in Classic ENG, 52 in Dragonflight ENG, & 21 in Khaz Algar ENG)?

In game, you can view your current skill level with your professions by clicking the drop-down at the top of the menu popup.

They don’t, as a rule. While obviously there isn’t any law stating they cannot peruse the forums - the forums are not a method for contacting a GM under any circumstances.

Only way to reach a GM is via tickets.

The only way to reach the Dev team is to post in the Bug Reports forum, the in-game Bug Reporting tool (this is ONE-WAY reporting) or by tweeting @WarcraftDevs.

CMs and the like, they are the ones who peruse the forums (all but this one, ironically enough), and make note of player suggestions and feedback, as well as those reported by using the in-game Suggestions and Feedback tool.

That is just how it works, however you may like to think otherwise. There are specific ways that things are handled. Just like GMs do not have anything to do with bugs UNLESS the Dev team has approved a fix or workaround.

I don’t know if you intentionally abandoned engineering or not, but the end result is that engineering was abandoned and customer support cannot intervene in its restoration.
