Going Back to CE

Does anyone plan to go back to CE after the Anniversary realms transition to TBC? Just wondering what the general consensus is.

Yes. TBC is one of the worst expansions. No interest in playing it again.

I haven’t heard of any plans for Anniversary realm toons to have a migration option to transfer to Classic Era. The only thing I’m aware of is that Anniversary realms are only progressing forward.

If you want to enjoy old Azeroth after The Dark Portal opens, you’ll have to roll PhReSh on the existing Classic Era realms (if you don’t already have toons there).

I think they will let 60s move to era realms.

I’m only here to play TBC - not doing any end game in vanilla (twice was enough). I really like the heroic dungeons in TBC and hope to find a dungeon running group. I’ve cleared all the TBC raids once - not enthused to do them again.

The reason TBC sucks is because it shrinks the once large living world into a few zones, making Azeroth basically completely irrelevant.

even more so when those expansion zones are shrunk further at endgame with flying mounts used to access only a few key areas.

If there is ever a proper classic+ I want to see old Azeroth preserved (and improved) and maybe just bring in Northrend and Outlands each with an endgame raid in it, a dungeon, relevant materials to farm.

Just make them each like 1-2 zones instead of what they were in each of their expansions exactly.

I’m going to TBC, can’t wait to do it again. Also hoping they let us move our character(s) from Era to TBC. Not a fan of leveling a bunch of alts on anniversary.

Never left Classic Era tbh. One year and change timeline ain’t for me. Approaching four years strong with my current guild on Grobbulus, come join us (now, or in a year when anniversary ends, we’ll still be here).

The only reason I’m boosting on Anniversary is for conc stones, but if we get scourge invasions on era I’m deleting that warrior
