Give us Dual spec so the game is fun

it doesn’t affect literally everyone, therefor it is not meaningful

Mega yikes.

Why do you think the terms Main Spec > Off Spec are even a thing?

You heal the raid on your toon? Then healing is your main spec, and that gives you priority on healing items that drop over DPS/Tanks that happen to have a healing spec available.

And if you disagree with the way a raid/guild handles loot? Guess what, you can always find a new one that handles loot in a way you agree with.

Again, trolling with the arguments that have nothing to do with actual dual spec.

except it’s not an “off spec” if you can just push a button and get all the best talents of that spec.

Do you think that dual spec gives you simultaneous access to talents from multiple specs?

And then people ask why I call you all trolls.

I don’t agree with most of what Emmortahl has said in favor of dual spec, but he’s actually right on this one. Main/Off spec terminology literally became a thing because you could click a button to become your other spec.

what are you yapping about. with dual spec, everyone who can heal will be expected to have the best healing talents as one of their specs. without exception. this is what we mean by dual spec killing player identity. you won’t have those shadow priests who can’t heal as well anymore. or those feral druids who only like being a cat or a bear. in short, it brings us one step closer to retail, and I would very much like to enjoy TBC classic without that extra step.

If I can change specs out of combat in the game world, then I don’t have a spec. I’m rotating specs to fill my current needs. I’m not making any choices, my class is the same as everyone else’s class and I can fulfill multiple roles by switching specs, almost like playing two different characters that switch upon a button click.

If there was no dual spec, this situation would mean I cannot respec in the middle of the game world because my original talent choices mattered and have consequences. It means I need another player to help me do whatever my spec cannot do. That’s an mmo that’s class interdependence. That’s what makes a game feel good.

You actually aren’t a troll you’re just the typical retail player who is so short sighted they can’t see that instant gratification kills the game.

If you’re elitist about the builds other people around you have, that’s a you problem. Troll better, please.

lol manakeep thinking I’m gonna feed him

I have more brain power in my pinky than you do as a grown man. Step off.

Good one, truly.

Then please explain why dual talent trees and applying instant gratification to the game is good for the game? Since apparently I’m trolling according to you.

i think demanding a modern feature be jammed into a classic version not designed for it is the ultimate ‘you’ problem.

Explain to a troll why he’s trolling? Sounds like an exercise in pure futility to me.

Sounds like you have no argument and you’re pathetically hiding behind an excuse so I don’t publicly destroy your feeble opinion.

You’re an ant.

Or, and here’s a little thought experiment for you.

I grow tired of rehashing the same “points” you trolls all bring up, especially when neither of us actually has a say in what does and does not get added into the game.

But yes, do go on about how great and powerful you are, here on the General World of Warcraft forums.

Your first post I quoted you were belittling others and trying to act like you’re superior for pushing dual spec to those who just don’t understand.

I am smarter than you, not everyone. That’s all I need.

Good for you.

Now kindly, troll off back to your bridge.

Usually when you say, “here’s a little thought experiment for you,” you follow it with a thought experiment… not just say you’re tired of trolls and end your post.

Happens all the time, maybe you just play with bad guilds who have people that only know how to play one of their specs. I switch to Blood all the time to do M+ or help my other guild raid. One major detterent right now is Torghas farming to get your offspec legendary, another is the conduit system, people just don’ wanna deal with that.

Yeah people play both games, hard to imagine I know. But we don’t wanna play retail, get bored of it, then play a retailized version of TBC.

I don’t think you understand how getting your butt kicked works.

This is the part where you put your tail between your legs and stop responding to me because you declined to have an actual conversation about the topic at hand in this thread when I gave you more than one opportunity.

You’re the troll incapable of having a discussion on a forum, I’m just turning on the lights for you.
