another dumb ‘argument’. no, a one time per account boost to 58 does not compare to everyone ever being able to switch between 2 specs on a whim. stop embarrassing yourself.
Oh can you only use it once?
yes, 1 character per account. you cannot buy more than 1 boost.
Yet half of your replies are “assumptive.” kek
Disclaimer:
For now. We all know the probability of Blizzard adding unlimited boosts to 58 later on down the road is pretty high. An now that subscriptions are tanking in Shadowlands, the pressure on them to monetize classic will be even higher.
lolol. argued all that without even knowing
Good thing you can only buy 1 extra spec for your character and not multiple!
yeah I think we’re done here. unbelievable.
Lets fix the problems in game first before trying to get new things added.
And subs went down with transmog added.
Therefore transmog causes sub loss and is bad.
This is a fun game!
The one change that is 1000% needed and they do idiotic things like add rating to S1 arena gear
still ignoring the fact that cata is the expansion where they butchered class/spec design and retconned a ton of lore, pissing off pretty much everyone in one foul swoop.
and most notabtly made the entry raids and dungeons not a faceroll joke.
i mean, thats not a bad thing. challenging content isnt bad.
I absolutely despise dual spec. It trivializes talents and spec. You guys just can’t resist injecting more retail into classic. Gross.
Wow! Really? Never heard that before.
Why have any talents at all if you can freely switch between 2/3 specs while out of town?
Why not just give all the players the important talents then, no one needs to spec or respec ever. If dual spec is an option why even have talents at all? You want every aspect of the class without making a commitment to one. That’s retail.
I know this is just semantics but that actually isn’t in retail atm due to covenants. And seemingly everyone hates it.
wat
If you have access to two out of three specs at all times on your character, it immediately trivializes any meaningful or thought you put into your spec.
If you don’t want to commit to a playstyle in your class, why play an mmo? Why do you want your class to be able to do everything? Why are you so determined to do everything yourself, such as switching from tank spec to healing spec or PvE spec to PvP spec, instead of committing to your original choice? If you stay committed to one role, it makes you need other players, it makes your spec actually mean something.
This was expected in competitive classic guilds, as well. Especially those on smaller servers, where heads/hearts weren’t going to be reliably dropped naturally. And then those extra characters were used for split farming raids, to maximize the number of drops going to core progression characters.
Most of the retail boogeymen approach to the game is just as much, if not more so, in Classic.
