Give dracthyr the ability to hover with their wings at all times

In TWW Dracthyr will have access to more classes, including Warrior. The Dracthyr physicality was originally designed as caster, with Dracthyr no longer being restricted to solely a caster class this has to change. Vocal enough to warrant a reaction when plans were still in flux and there was an actual possibility of change. Outside of a few posters, no one really cared about the limited transmog. Others still were placated by Ion stating that they’d “do more” with Evoker tier sets - something that never materialized. Now? You can’t mention the race without near-universal protestation of this inadequacy. But this is too little, too late, I fear. It would be difficult to justify dedicating notable developm…

But this thread is to say that the dracthyr form isn’t always bad. In fact I think it looks pretty cool at times especially when they hover in combat and we get to see them more in their element. With the release of dracthyr playing other classes none of them will ever be able to see this kind of animation.

If we could get some kind of cosmetic that lets our dracthyr hover in combat or at least give it some kind of cooldown. Maybe when they pop their cooldowns they hover idk. Make it happen

While I dislike the Dracthyr immensely, I actually think this would really play into their “class fantasy” really well.

We already have Hunters as a fully-mobile Ranged class; I don’t think allowing Evokers to have the same benefit (even weaker, given their limited range) would upset anything.

In fact, if you throw that into one of their “Hero talents”, you can lock that benefit purely to the DPS trees, ensuring that they don’t immediately become the de factor healers for M+.

You don’t get to make an argument that “skinny” dracs can’t be warriors when you have puny races like goblins, gnomes, and vulpera able to be them…and then to further muddy the waters more, you got dwarves which are canonically one of the toughest and hardiest races while also being diminutive. Point being is your “build” has nothing to do with anything.
