My Lightforged Draenei Mystz A Death Knight just hit 58 yesterday and i did not get my achievement and Quest for my armor set. I know i used the welcome back for my toon. so i figured that why my toon got flagged. Is there anyway this can be fixed. so i can get my achievement and quest for my armor. I really dont want to have to lvl another Lightforged if it can be helped. ty in advance for what u can do. I also have a ticket in wow for this same problem. Ticket# US94242990.

Still doesn’t look like anything changed for me on this character? Perhaps there is something else amiss?

Is there any way to investigate more deeply into my affected character? The ticket I submitted resulted in being told to “just wait till they fix it” which wasn’t very helpful.

Unfortunately gms dont fix bugs that was the best advice they could give.

Hi. I just checked and still haven’t received heritage armor quest for my Kul Tiran Poldark. He is level 52 and did the gear upgrade.

Is there ever going to be a fix? Or would it be faster just to level another Allied Race Toon and not use the gear update when it comes around again? Just wondering so i can start level another Lightforged.

Of course there gona be a fix but its not as easy as rewriting a dingle line of code if youve been folowing this thread thete was a fix but more issues croped up.

There was a hotfix that was pushed at the end of July that should prevent folks who use the Gear Update from experiencing this issue.

The overall fix for the folks who had already used it had to be a DB resolution, which was completed August 2nd.

The last update I received is that they ran the database script that was supposed to tag the folks who used the gear update and should qualify for the heritage armor as able to get the quest. We’ve had some positive results but there do still seem to be some holdouts.

All of those so far are in this thread.

I’ve made sure the team is aware that some folks are still having an issue.

If you are able to get the quest at some point to get your heritage armor, please let me know so I want provide an update the other direction.

A script has been run a few times to fix those who were impacted with this issue (i.e. the Gear Update disqualifying allied races for the heritage armor quest), for some reason it has missed a few folks here and there.

I know one was due to the person transferring between when it happened and the script running but in other situations the “fix” just wasn’t picked up on the character. Those are being looked into.

Our teams are looking into why some folks weren’t fixed with the resolution that went in already and working to find a resolution for the rest of the characters in this situation.

I don’t have any information at the moment, but I’ll pass along any updates I get.

There have been several fixes already, actually, as has been stated in this post even if you just skip from Blue post to Blue post. It hasn’t resolved all issues apparently, but a lot of folks who had posted has had this resolved.

They are looking into the current samples to see why they weren’t resolved with the others.

Off hand, it does look like Mystz transferred on 9/10, so that might have had an impact on that character when the fix was implemented. The others don’t seem to have transferred though, so something else may be going on there.

I did transfer my toon then. i just logged on to see if the problem has been fixed. i still didnt have the quest or achievement unlocked on Mystz. Just wanted to give a update.

Just updating on this; after checking every other day, I logged in just now and the achievement/quest finally popped up for me

I went ahead and built another lightforged draenei Krystea Hunter. Got to lvl 50 and my heritage armor quest proc’d for me. if u can get it to unlock on Mystz that would be cool. but no rush on it since i got it on another toon. thanks for all the help. Have fun playing wow.

Theres no point in getting it unlocked on this toon once one tooon earns it all toons earn it.

I just hit 51 (was in a dungeon) on a dark iron dwarf and cannot get my heritage armor questline. I did use the gear upgrade. Had I known that it would block my heritage set, i would have passed on the gear upgrade. You should put a warning, maybe, for those still needing heritage armor like you do with the free leveling boost. I need to get the armor before I can take the free level boost, as I am boosting this character.

Check your quest log.
I’ve characters that it didn’t pop up on straight away, or I thought it didn’t.
But when I checked my quest logs there was a quest to talk to my races envoy.

Once I talked to the envoy I got the quest to talk to the person that gave me the heritage armour. The quest had just gotten lost in my quest log somehow. I’ve gotten the quests on all my allied characters since the fix, but sometimes the quest hides.

Just to follow up, as I don’t want anyone to think there are currently issues with the system, it looks like your Dark Iron Dwarf was originally a Draenei.

To qualify for the Heritage Armor quest on an Allied Race you have to level that allied race from start to 50 without any boosts, faction or race changes. Sorry.
