Yeah, we only q a small amount of games per night because my priest log off every night 11pm EST and there aren’t much qs before 9:30 or even 10pm EST, not really any sort of piloting going on.
Literally sent a post the night b4 I’m banned about how we are sitting 10 minutes qs at 3170mmr 11pm EST, rennar can prove that.

Yup blizzard doesn’t even monitor this anymore its auto robo bans

There’s no such things as auto bans. A real person, a GM, looks and investigates before every single ban is applied.

So they and you say but if you take a peek at some data it doesn’t seem that way. Sure there are probably lots of examples of not hearing the full story, etc. but this is big company customer experience we are talking :slight_smile:

I would also challenge the legitimacy/integrity of any “investigation” that is done as well.

Perhaps someone “looks at it” but do they really “look at it” in all cases? It’s easy to post policy and some created guidelines/process and hold it up like you did but if it’s not executed (and there are so many examples of how it probably isn’t.) then it’s “business as usual” lol…

It means a lot to me, but I can’t find any data that isn’t completely anecdotal. Can you help me? If there’s all this pervasive data, surely, you’d be able to show me?

I know youre trolling and your existence serves only to be contrarian and argue with people, but there 100% is an automatic ban system.

During the guilds first meeting in Classic we lined up on the stormwind bridge, and anyone who yelled something they didn’t like or that could be detrimental to the guilds image, they would mass report them. 1-150 people reporting someone, and we saw probably no less than near a dozen people instantly get knocked offline.

Keep appealing until something is done and don’t take the Bogus threats from Kevin saying further opening of a ticket will result in account actions.

This is apparently a recurrent issue with many who are overseas. Have heard it happens to quite a few military people in the past. Don’t take an automated 18 month ban w.e you do.

This is extremely concerning to me as I probably will be playing while travelling in the upcoming weeks due to when the TBC arena season is going to end. I have my laptop all ready to go, although now I may just not even risk it. I love how I cant do anything in this game without worrying if I am going to get banned.

It seems like your new location is not the issue but the new device triggered the ban (I assume you are innocent).

The way blizz detect pilot boosting is through ip address and device id. When you login bnet from a new computer you have to use bnet authenticator right? So yea if they see your rating suddenly increases on the new pc they will ban.

You get disconnected when you reach enough reports to be squelched, but that’s not an “automatic ban system”.

This is not good advice. That is considered GM harassment.

The thign is I don’t log in with a new computer- I brought my laptop/keyboard with me. The only thing changed is my physical location.

do you use a VPN?

I’m not sure what you’re trying to communicate here – but I’ve linked the relevant information from CMs. CMs actually work at Blizzard so they would know better than either you or I.

CMs have consistently denied the myth of “auto bans”. They just don’t exist.

And to address the OP’s specific concerns,

The appeal process isn’t automated at all – it’s quite thorough. You are welcome to submit appeals until they tell you to stop.

Posting to the forums won’t really do much, in fact, it’s violates the CoC to discuss disciplinary actions on the forums.

Copying and pasting processes and guidelines and SOPs again is also quite silly considering that what is being challenged isn’t just “if it’s all automated” but if it’s actually being “objectively pursued”.

You are assuming and sticking up process plans to back yourself; others are saying it’s generally not always like that based on “anecdotes” (Though you already said they are all lying, etc. lol.) or “personal experiences”.

You would be a great company guy that’s for sure. EXCEPT that everything I just mentioned was already articulated but it must have “gone in one window and out the other” lol

No I don’t, I’m physically in US right now. just moving from a state to another to visit people.

I think its completely pointless to communicate with you bloomsday but just in case you might want to talk sense this time, also putting in some information people might wanna know:
First, you might argue that CMs state “its not automated at all” or whatsoever but the response I received for my appeal is either a copypasta or a automated response. I’ve stated in the post the respond didn’t even state the correct penalty (said im perma banned but I’m apparently not after doublechecking) and it is responded at 3:30AM EST, a time that is very unlikely to have real GMs or whatever to communicate. The respond also had 0 useful information and didn’t seem to read whatever I’m saying nor the travel documents I’ve provided.

Second, I DO NOT CARE at all if the bans are automated or not. I just want it to be removed even though at this point I won’t have enough/people to q for R1. I’ve repetitively said in this post that I can swear under my family’s name that I’ve NEVER logged on someone else’s acc or have someone else log onto my acc. I don’t frequently play with non-chinese players but a decent portion of chinese community in NA know me as someone who never charge anyone for helping them getting rating/glad, never do any sort of RMT carries, not even gold carries. I had never piloted anyone EVER in my life and I’ve never logged on anyone else’s account. I dont care if you believe it or not but every word I’ve said in this post is 100% accurate and the accusation blizzard did on me is completely unacceptable. You can also check with some of the well-known chinese players to see if they’ve EVER heard of me doing gold/RMT carries or pilots- the answer is 100% no. I might help people get 2100/glad/whatsoever but I don’t log onto their accounts and I’ve never been paid to do so. All I wanna do is help friends and the friends of my friends.

Finally I understand that posting to the forums won’t really do much, but at this point I don’t think there’s anything I can do except for pointlessly appealing waiting for either a real human or a robot copypastaing the same responses or whatever. So basically, all I’m able to do at this point is waiting for the final execution and complaining on the forums. If you dont like it or believe it just leave, I’m really not in mood of arguing with a troll at this point.
