Feldrake twitch drop

I see that now… Now just waiting for the Drake

Not that it’s much of an update, just a continuation from the last time I posted, but I’ve yet to see anything pop up on Blizzard’s CS Twitter feed since last weekend or earlier. Apparently they’re looking at about a fourteen-day timeframe for any actual ticket responses in-game, so hopefully if people submitted their ticket and it wasn’t closed shortly afterward with nothing but basic troubleshooting links attached like my wife’s was, we can at least get some confirmation that it’s still being looked into.

Tickets are just under a week and any ticket about this issue is just wasting urs and a GMs time they cant do anything.

GMs don’t have the ability to correct this which is why the tickets are getting the help links.
There hasn’t been an update because there’s nothing to update on yet.
Them posting “nothing new yet” each day won’t help much to get a solution either.

I get it’s frustrating but there’s not much we can do right now beyond playing the waiting game.

That is the article on what you should do should you not have received a twitch drop.

i’m sure that’s their plan!

first it needed to be established that there was an issue.
(eg: there are people who were waiting for items to appear in their mailbox, and didn’t know it was waiting in their collection to be unwrapped… there are people who were using addons which auto-unwrapped the items, so they didn’t actually see the items being added to their collections… there were people who just needed to wait, and some waited up to a week, but their item/s still showed up.
There was a variety of user-error issues involved where people were complaining that they hadn’t got their reward, when they actually had)

then the two companies need to work together to find out what went wrong, and find out why only some people were impacted.
(and we don’t even know if they’re past this stage yet, but sure… throw in the towel!)

then they need to come up with a solution.

then they need to create that solution, and make it so it can work retroactively.

then they need to apply that solution, which may or may not mean people will need to wait until a maintenance period…

this isn’t something which Khadgar can fix with a swish of his arm.

…and in case anyone hasn’t noticed, there has also been a very recent expansion launch which still needs a lot of ironing out.

Just relax.

Just to check, you do have the full code right?

The first like 3 times I tried to redeem Ichabod, I failed because I didn’t get the first 4 digits, because they were on the first line of the notification like:

“Redeem Ichabod Now with Code: XXXX-
XXXX-XXXXX-XXXX-XXXX”

I didn’t see the first 4.

I think most of us were being rather patient and understanding given the situation until they announced this Cenarion Hatchling/Windsteed Drop during the issue occurring.

It is very insensitive to those who still haven’t received their last Twitch Drop.

We knew the Firework drop was scheduled and was not going to be delayed, but there was nothing really stopping them, to our knowledge, from delaying something that hadn’t even been announced yet.

And now we have to earn the new drops and hope this doesn’t somehow disqualify our old drop.

Some people can’t log in to the game. It’s very insensitive that the game is still live. Maybe they should just shut it all down until everyone can log in.

My car is in the shop right now. It’s very insensitive to leave the highways open so others can use their cars. Shut it all down until I get my car back.

Grow up. Very unbecoming of a Community Council member.

This is how you get put on ignore.

It is insensitive. It’s not an opinion. It’s a straight up fact. Announcing and releasing a new twitch drop while the old twitch drop still hasn’t had the kinks worked out and rewards sent out is insensitive, plain and simple.

And those are false equivalencies.

If Blizzard caused the people to be unable to login to the game, and created new servers in the meantime to allow others to get into the game - then yes, it’d be insensitive, and an equivalency.

If the government closed a highway while you were on it, preventing you from getting off of it, but then opened a new highway for others to proceed and left you there, then yes, it’d be insensitive, and again, an equivalency.

False equivalencies help no one. Again, you are going on ignore.

Stop detailing this thread, so you and others can still get the help they might need. If you have any suggestions, including delaying Twitch drops, it goes in a different place. Which you should know and abide by, as a Community Council selection.

this was announced weeks ago.
…apparently this the mount and pet are a new announcement… i could have sworn i saw these (at very least the hatchling) listed with the original announcement.

Contracts don’t take your feelings into account.

I’m not sure how you think it could do that.
They’re unrelated.

We get it.
You’re frustrated.
So are all the other people who are waiting on their rewards.
There’s no reason to believe that anyone is going to be told “tough luck, you’re not getting it”.

It’s not insensitive. It’s not a “straight up fact.” It is an opinion - yours. It’s you taking it personally.

These events were planned months in advance. They aren’t releasing a new Twitch Drop. They are releasing already planned drops.

If there are kinks that need to be worked out, they need to be done after the whole promotion is completed, not in the middle of it.

Blizzard did not create new Twitch drops. They are going through with already planned ones. Even though the current one was announced just before it started, it would have had to be planned between Twitch and Blizzard in advance. Your argument that they should stop this promotion in the middle is no different than the equivalencies suggested. If they are false than so are yours.

You are assuming that the next one will happen the same as the last two. It was already different from the last two before the streaming started on Twitch. A lot of players got the mounts and pets on accounts they didn’t have it on because they had it on an account in a different region, before the eligibility time-frame even started. Some thought it was compensation because they hadn’t gotten either the pet or mount already part of the Twitch drops. I received them on my EU account because I already had them on my NA account.

If Blizzard felt they needed to stop the event, they would have. Recently they had an issue where moving a WoW license from one Battlenet account to another caused the WoW license to disappear altogether. To cut down the number of accounts they needed to fix they stopped moving accounts until they fixed the issue. Missing mounts and pets are no where near the level of this issue. Stop with the false equivalency.

Go ahead an put people on ignore. It doesn’t make your suggestion of stopping the event in the middle because a minority of players didn’t get one or both of the items any better.

I already know I’m going to probably get a lot of flak for posting this. Been watching this thread the past few days and some of the responses I’m seeing here are extremely disappointing.

“I will remind everyone though, no one seeks Customer Support because they’re having a great day. It’s almost always because they’ve encountered a problem, they are upset or frustrated, and they just want some direction/information. Lets remember to show some empathy, assume positive intent, and try to help.

If it doesn’t seem like that help is being well received, consider removing yourself from the interaction. You’ve done your part, and that’s all we ask

Let’s keep in mind not everyone here uses the forums regularly, if at all. People have a right to be frustrated and voice their concerns with their issue so long as they’re remaining respectful and constructive. Not everyone here uses Twitter or is aware of the update posts on Blizzard’s site, and not everyone is aware that the Blues have posted updates on the thread itself, especially if individuals coming here don’t use the forums.

This isn’t targeted at anyone in here, I’m not trying to put anyone down, but some of the responses are starting to get non-constructive.

Just adding my name to the list. Multiple tickets to twitch and blizz. Twitch says it shows ‘claimed’ on their end and that it’s on blizz etc. Claimed on day one.

Just claimed my Cenarion Hatchling and it appeared in game in 15 seconds or so. So obviously my Twitch and Bnet are linked correctly.

Still no Feldrake even though I claimed it the first night it was available.

Just adding my name to the lot as I have not received the mount. Wife got hers and our friend group all got theirs, but nothing on my end. I understand it’s complex, but some official response other than it’s known would be appreciated.

Going to add my name to the list too, haven’t received the mount and have tried to relink my account a few times. Submitted a ticket, got closed pretty quick L. But yeah, going to see if I get the new Twitch drops and if not guess that’s a mega L.

What’s crazy is I claimed and received my cenarion hatchling instantly. I claimed my feldrake the first day and still haven’t received it. I would also like to note that a lot of people who didn’t receive their feldrake started watching their steams the moment the event unlocked as blizzard was having technical issues with their servers. Most people I know who received the mount started watching their streams a few hours after the promotion began, maybe someone on blizzards end could look into this. Anyways that’s my 2 cents on the issue, I just hope blizz finds a way to reward the people who claimed and didn’t receive the mount.

I received the kite pet, but not the fel drake.

Now I received the cenarion hatchling, wich means my account IS properly linked, but no fel drake yet…

I was playing during launch while watching Asmongold, so I was there during the whole server lagging and DCs fiasco.

I also claimed the mount as soon as it was available since I was watching a stream from minute 0. Claimed it in the first 4 hours of the xpac while the servers were still having issues.

Didn’t get my mount. I think it’s a well educated guess to assume that this problem is likely on Blizzard’s end, and is related to the Dragonflight launch’s server issues.

Frankly they saying they are aware of it but not saying they are working on it doesn’t sound good. It sounds bad.

To me it sounds that they are aware but are not working on it and maybe never will. Frankly I’d rather they just tell us they are NOT working on it if that’s the case, instead of barely giving us any info and not saying whether they will work on it or not.

I’m enjoying Dragonflight but this definitely sours the overall sweet taste of this expansion up to now. They just say they’re aware and give no ETA on a fix, and don’t even mention if they’re working or plan to work on a fix.

As a customer it disappoints me, that’s all. And I am entitled to complain. If you don’t agree with what I said that’s fine, but if you are gonna tell me to be patient or read twitter or look for what copy pasta vague stuff CS said on their page, save us both the time and don’t reply. I’m aware of all of that already.

Some of the people posting here are not helping and being quite annoying in my opinion so I just see their profile pic to know it’s them and skip their post entirely. Feels much better than to read their BS.

Cheers.
