You may be right that it might be more wide-spread than most think, but I don’t think it’s a wide-spread issue that some seem to think it is according to their posts in this thread. I personally think Rentfree, who was the one that post was a reply to, is wrong that the majority of people haven’t gotten the Feldrake yet.
None of us have any idea how many players participated in the streams. None of us have any idea how many players received both items without any issues as they don’t tend to come to the forum and post about it. We only know about the limited number of players who have come to the forum because they didn’t receive the pet and/or mount. Without this information players can’t make the call that they should stop any more events.
I have yet to see my mount come through and haven’t gotten a response on my ticket. I got the kite no problem. But the several weeks waiting for tickets anymore especially when they auto-close them.
I’ll say it again though it will likely be ignored as is anything posted that isn’t the recycled “same” posts:
I sincerely hope you all are posting over in the Bug Report forum as well. Devs don’t come here to collect data. So everyone who is chiming here with the “Me too!” replies, they’re not really doing any good because the staff who needs to see them do not come here and are seeing none of this.
This just tells you to make sure you’re connected (we all are), claim prize 1 before prize 2 begins to accumulate (we all did), and make sure your browser isn’t borked.

It baffles me that you think a generic faq that could easily have been copy/pasted from any other faq is acknowledgement that they have a problem and are working on said issue.

That was 6 days ago. no updates other than “we have reports of it.” That’s not a promise to fix it. That’s not even acknowledgement of investigating said reports. It’s only acknowledging that some people have reported it. Now, we have a new round of twitch drops coming our way. Any bets on if those work the same way as these?

I claimed the Feldrake 8 days ago and never got it. I disconnected and reconnected as well but didn’t get anything. I did get the kite, though.
Blizzard doesn’t give updates if nothing has changed. Repeated posts of Blizzard still looking into it doesn’t assuage players. They tend to treat it as Blizzard taunting them.
Blizzard has actually acknowledged investigating said reports, not just that players have reported it. Vrakthris said so in what you quoted.
As for whether or not the next set of drops acts the same, it has no bearing on the pet and/or mount not showing for players.
Since you could find Vrak’s thread but glossed over this from their Twitter. The acknowledgment directly but then the full thread too.
The FAQ post that you’re so derisive about was updated just hours ago, so it’s the most up-to-date thing we’ve got right now. It has common fixes, but the most important part is that CS cannot award things. GMs are not being allowed to just grant people the drops. That is the hard and fast fact of the matter.
Somewhere between Twitch and Blizzard, there is some sort of communication glitch that is preventing things from going through. It hasn’t been pinpointed yet but they are working on it.
Which is what needs to change if they can’t figure out what’s preventing the drops from being granted.
If they can’t figure out what’s going on, the only real solution would be if someone has a twitch account connected to their account, they should be able to get the items granted to them if they open a ticket. And even then that’s a clunky solution.
It was already explained by Vrak that this isn’t just a “GMs aren’t allowed” thing. It is actually impossible for a GM to do because of the nature of what it is.
Then what on Earth possessed them to announce a new Twitch drop before figuring out how to ensure the current twitch drops even get distributed?
If they supposedly have no way to distribute the rewards if the Twitch integration fails like it did?
Because, more than likely, this isn’t effecting a majority of players as people have been saying. If a majority have gotten the reward just fine, why would you kill a promotion, that has probably been in motion for months now? They didn’t just come up with another promotion out of the blue, this promotion has been month in the works. You don’t kill something like that unless a huge number of people aren’t able to get it.
No, but you delay it. Or you’re telling the people that are affected they aren’t important.
Knowing how contracts usually work, I’m pretty positive that delaying something like this simply isn’t an option. No one is saying anyone isn’t important.
Hi guys, its me Jam!
I did everything that was supposed to be done, twitch account/bnet connected. I was able to get Ichabod and the Kite. Watched for 4hrs, clicked claim. Fel drake in my twitch inventory page as claimed since first day and havent gotten anything.
Day 1 I sent a ticket in, got an auto response saying the ticket was resolved but still no mount.
Send second ticket in on day 2 and the time has been going up and down. I really hope that their will be some fix to it and the people who did everything still get their mount
Day 9 of no mount showing up, and day 7 of a ln open ticket, have screenshots showing accounts linked properly, and that I claimed it, however nothing… joys
