I guess I’m lucky since I’ve had mine for several years now.
Literally none of the things you mentioned were “promised”.
“We’d like to…”
“We plan to…”
“We hope to…”
Blizzard always use intentionally vague language, and players always seem to think those things mean “We promise to”.
stop being so dramatic.
things like this have happened before, and they’ve been resolved.
I have this EXACT issue - same thing on day 1 I claimed it - got my kite no issues - - - Fel Drake isn’t here.
No need to be pedantic and derail the issue in which players are trying to express: the emotional disappointment caused by the way a company has poorly handled and communicated an issue.
Thank you for better verbalizing the point I’m making: Intentional vagueness is poor communication and leads to more problems instead of dodging them and should never be used. Lore lightly covers this topic in the recent Preach video ‘Inside Blizzard HQ’.
Things like this have happened before, and have also never been resolved. This usually happens when the community is less vocal about it, which explains why you might not know about those particular instances. So after analyzing those patters over time, the player base’s perception is to be more vocal, let them know the issue until it is resolved, and make our concerns clear enough to insure it doesn’t ever happen again to anyone.
So please, as someone with the name “Nobully”, try to refrain from undermining players’ concerns and outrage when they are valid because it isn’t helpful in anyway.
Can you provide an example? I’m not aware of any myself and am curious.
Blizzard and Twitch are going to have to work together to find out what went wrong, and how to resolve the issue.
It’s going to take time.
Until they’ve figured it out, there’s nothing further to communicate.
You have no reason to believe that it’s being ignored, especially when you’ve been told otherwise.
I’m drawing a blank on this reference. (but I’m pre-coffee)
I’m not undermining anything.
You are doing that to yourself, by choosing to not believe the updates which have already been provided.
If anything, I’m doing the opposite, by directing people to this thread when they keep stating Blizzard hasn’t said anything about the subject.
For me, with hearthstone packs. There was a twitch drop promotion a couple years back, you could earn 3 packs over 6 hours by watching some big tournament (1 per 2 hours). I qualified for all 3, claimed the first one after 2 hours and got it fine, claimed hours 4 and 6, but never received them.
Well, we passed the one week mark last night. I’m sure the missing drakes will be waiting for us when the realms come up from weekly maintenance, right? Right???
if there was a fast and easy solution, don’t you think they would have already taken care of it?
I wouldn’t call a week “fast” but it was meant as a joke either way. Trying to keep hope alive for our drakeless kin!
Just don’t bother replying to the negative nancy, i got the joke and i feel your pain of expecting to be fixed today
sure, it was said in jest… but people love to grab the bait with both hands, and run with it.
if you’ve got a faster fix, they might still be hiring…
Yeah good point, fast would be completely relative. Looking from the outside in, its easy to just think its a flip of a switch. Issues are rarely that simple, butterfly effect and all that.
Still no Feldrake for me. Account set up right and got the kite but nada on the drake after claiming.
Update: I disconnected and reconnected my battle.net account to twitch and the mount was added to my collection next morning.
Did you do this recently? Like last couple days or so?
I have done this but it did not change anything still no mount for me
I did it right after I made my first post (3days ago) messing around trying to figure it out.
It didn’t show up right away when I reconnected it, but it was there next day when I logged in the game.
I have thought about trying this yet at the same time part of me is worried it could mess it up if they do happen to find a fix. Still nothing after maintenance though
How are you guys disconnecting the link then adding it right back? The site says there is a 7 day cooldown
