Feedback: I don't like timed content

Some feedback for you Blizz,

I am really unhappy with the addition of the timer in Torghast, timed content is stressfull, anti social and annoying. I hate games where your trying to get a “highscore” on som earbitrary scoring system.

Timers ruined dungeons for me (m+) and now the’ve ruined Torghast for me too

It’s not like the timers are super tight or anything.

I don’t get the problem

Thank you for sharing you view on the Torghast changes.

Personally, I really enjoy the changes to Torghast…including the timers.

As a whole, the changes created the need to strategically plan your run and created goals. This is much better than the mindless slog that it was before.

The problem is that certain players (alot actually) feel unnecessary pressure when a timer is added.

Torghast didn’t need M+ mechanics, the timer is fine for m+ but totally unnecessary for torghast

But hey, it’s a quick and lazy… err I mean innovative way to make content “challenging”

There is but one timer I fear.

It is my alarm clock.

The timer can be ignored. If you’re not willing to get bonus objectives instead of gogogo, I don’t know what to tell you. Blizz gave options (go fast or go steady and get bonuses) and you are only looking at “go fast” and saying it’s ruined without mentioning the other option they gave you.

But the timer is so generous that it might as well not exist

So adding something that wasn’t there before while leaving what was existing ruined what was existing? Odd.

If numbers make your gaming unfun , idk what to say . Maybe show the mini map and hover it over the timer ??? Hiding it in the process ?

The timer isn’t important.

You can play Torghast the same way you did before with zero changes and won’t be penalized. Hell, you can take breaks (as long as you’re not taking like… an hour or more per floor) and you’ll be 100% fine.

What really penalizes you is deaths, which has always been the case with Torghast.

We at Blizz heard you like timers so:

We’ve implemented a system where everyone gets between 2 minutes and 23 hours each day to play. May the RNG gods be ever in thy favor.

192 minutes for me.

Just ignore the timer, win

I find Friday to be the worst day of the week for IT.

Last minute stuff, stuff breaking more it seems.

For a lot of people, I think the existence of a timer compels a sense of urgency. Once that happens, the enjoyment that comes from a leisurely pace tends to evaporate.
