That’s not how it works - the folks who handle tickets are the only ones who has the power to do it, it isn’t done upon request.
It’s an unsupported action, if something happens, Blizzard isn’t going to step in and help. Along with, if you got any dirty gold, they’re going to action all parties that helped move it.
Zenjy is correct, but there are two notes I will chime in with. Firstly, you aren’t getting automated responses, you are getting templated responses. GMs (or the Hacks Team as I believe is the case for RMT investigations) use a template when responding to an appeal so it is very standardized.
Secondly, screenshots are not proof of anything, they go only by their own logs and data. An appeal is only to have another GM/Hacks team member/specialist review the logs and determine if there was an error with the conclusion or penalty.
In this case, it sounds as though you traded with someone who paid you in gold that was not legitimately obtained. Unfortunately, that is a risk when engaging with unsupported transactions. In the future, I’d urge you to avoid such interactions or to exercise greater caution.
Never and I mean NEVER deal with any toon that is level one, that’s the biggest red flag when doing these kind of transactions. It’s just not worth the risk.
Yesterday this poster had the same issue and the same responses apply:
You almost certianly got tainted/RMT gold. Xgames gold trade is unsupported which means you have to be careful. Strongly suggest avoiding doing it in the future.
14-day suspensions are typically given out to players that received dirty gold but were found not to have any involvement with the stolen accounts or bots used to obtain it.
This does not matter. Blizzard has logs of everything that goes on within the game so they have no need of screenshots of chat and activities. They have all of that.
One-sided gold trading is an unsupported activity so while it is not prohibited, anything that goes wrong with the players involved will not receive any support from blizzard, and everyone involved risks being actions as though a willing participant in chicanery.
If you received gold from account that had any involvement in purchasing it, and you received it, then you will almost certainly get slapped with 14 days in the slammer.
I’m afraid I don’t have anything more I can add here, Cluey. The others covered this fairly well. It does sound like your trades likely involved gold that was obtained from an illicit account. The best I can recommend is to submit an appeal so they can take another look.
why put “Mild Language” on your game when people gonna just get their feelings hurt.
Mild language has to do with the ESRB and PEGI rating that games have. It has nothing to do with player generated content.
That is governed by the EULA and the Code of Conduct.
From what I heard on my forum post they said I was using an F-Bomb when I was clearing wasn’t using that word, I know what I have said and did not say,
The problem there, Moneycatx, is a lot of folks forget what they said, or misremember it.
The advantage we have is we have a record of your chat so I can see everything that you may have said.
You specifically used the F-word in conjunction with “you” towards another user complaining that they let you die to “another inappropriate word”. You did so in a public channel.
