Hello,
Last night when we killed Ragnaros’ and removed the items to distribute via lootmaster the eternal embers left in the chest despawned along with the chest without being distributed.
Not sure what caused this as it never happened previous weeks.
The character Cyrileo was to get the eternal embers inside the chest.

Afraid nothing can be done! Best let the embers get picked up before any other loot is done
Yep. Blizzard was useless in restoring the items or fixing the bugs in their game that dramatically reduce acquisition of the legendaries.
If you use gargul to auto loot items, you can set a restriction to never auto loot the crowns. That’s what I did so the error cannot happen again. I leave the crowns in and send the quest items, then send the crowns to myself.
As long as a non-quest item remains in the chest, it won’t despawn.
They will not restore quest items. You found your answer do not use auto loot, Always loot quest items first!
