Ered’Kiels Desolation (IC Closed 2)

Throggore dove down the stockade hallways much faster than Varicar could, Throggore was the silent death that would work its way through anything it found… Luckily the stockades had been sparsely guarded now as a great majority of guards had run off to help put a end to the now raging fire that was only a few houses nearby… Throggore lunged forward quickly as he saw a lazy guard still leaning against the wall of his post, while the others would be heroes this guy would catch up on his beauty sleep… The orcish rogue moving much faster than one might think managed to cross the would be kind of sight of the guard had he been awake and bring his blades down upon him… In a swift motion the Orc covered the guards mouth before twisting a long steel wire around the humans neck to further stifle any calls for aid… With a sickening gurgling sound the Orc further tighten his grip on the metal garrote strangulating the humans airways! The humans fear could be seen in his ever growing bloodshot eyes, tears of pain trialing down his face before Throggore finished his prey with a swift twist of the humans head snapping his neck… Throggore proped the dead human up near the wall again and lowered the guards helmet in order to conceal his death before moving on…

The rogue still moved with a speed and stealth that was not ordinary for a creature his size seeing his next target, a guard left behind, put on high alert from the fire emergency… Still Throggore was a creature unlike any other, tossing a small pebble he found on the ground into a nearby cell of the guard, Throggore temporary distracted the human into looking that direction… It was his fatal mistake, as the guard moved Throggore struck, slipping in like a snake ready to strike Throggore lunged forwards driving one of his poisoned daggers into the soft spot in the guards armor underneath his arm and towards his chest… Befire the guard could let out a exclamation of agony the Orc dug his other blade into the humans mouth stifling his sounds of agony with metal and blood… The guard struggled for a few moments before the fast acting poison ebbed away his life and the guard slumped down finally free from his pain… Throggore again propped up the body, to appear as if the guard was still working before a sound stopped the rogue dead in his tracks…

“Hey you!” Called from a nearby cage, a man dressed in torn clothes not unlike something a conman might wear pressed up against the bars before speaking again… “You gotta let me out! If you don’t…” The man paused unsure of to say, but continued nonetheless, “I’ll start screaming and bringing guards in here!” He threatened… Throggore was taken back, the audacity of the pitiful human, he would gain nothing from his captors if he called for aid, he just felt like ruining the mission for Throggore and Varicar… The orc acted quickly, he had not even turned towards the man when he spoke, but now in a quick movement the Orc turned at a great speed his arm extended to toss one of many poisoned daggers… Throggore knew it was a good chance the blade might miss, but in the criminals arrogance he had presented a ample target! The blade image acted right into the man’s face tearing apart his nose and jaws as the blade sink deep enough to hit the medulla oblongata, the prisoner was dead before the rest of his brain would register the damage…

Throggore sighed that was a close one but now he was nearly to the target moving forward again the rogue came upon a doorway into s larger cell holding something much stronger than mere Conmen… Turning the corner quickly the rogue had to strike, the mage in the room would likely be a threat and Throggore extended his blades to bury them deep into Braumer’s sides! Before the tips of the blades punctured flesh however Varicar conjured puns of chi energy and sent them into the puny mage paralyzing his foe and pinning him to the nearby wall…

Bettering the stockades right behind Throggore the rogue moved forward at a incredible pace determined to eliminate any obstacles between the two and their target… Varicar took a different approach following after Throggore’s trail of death the monk stopped to see the cells were filled with vagabonds and criminals of every kind… He could hardly let them be free to call for aid should one of them decide to have a change of heart to a more humanitarian nature… Pausing within the center of many of the cages the monk inhaled to gather his energy before exhaling a red corrupting mist of chiji… The vaporous got corrupted with hints of fel and void energy washed over the cells in the room forcing the prisoners to fall into a deep sleep… Their slumber however would be far from restful, the fel and void in its very nature inflicted terrible nightmares upon the afflicted, prisoners locked in a hell of their own dreams… Varicar opened his eyes satisfied, they would be pacified now, unable to scream for aid and locked in a horrid nightmare for hours…

The monk moved forward following the path Throggore had before him, the rogue when properly motivated was cold and efficient, a trait the master had highly desired… Still as the monk moved forward he knew would be forced to inflict such nightmares and sleep upon more deeper within the stockades… Though Varicar very much had the power to flood the lower areas with this toxic mist, he knew if he accidentally hit a guard they might raise a alarm…

Placing several more areas of prisoners to sleep Varicar finally came upon the room that held the target they were supposed to find… In a room much bigger than the others, made for a prisoner much more powerful than vagabonds and thieves, Varicar saw what he was looking for… Yet Varicar witnessed Throggore lunging ready to strike the mage designated to operate in this area, acting fast before Throggore could take his life the fel monk conjured pins of chi and sent them to paralyze the mage against the wall… Throggore looked st Varicar in surprise, why had he not just killed the pitiful human, Varicar indeed had a answer that he would not reveal yet…

The deathknight had been held in his imprisoned state by a extensive among of wards, a human version of the horrid fate the night elves inflicted on Illidan… So long as the wards were intact even with the mage incapacitated they would be able to converse with their target without fear he might turn on them… Varicar knew, the shed blood of the mage might infact interfere with the magical warding and set the creature free to early…

“Greetings… Deathknight…” Varicar said with the utmost professionalism despite his recent actions… “We learned information a powerful entity was trapped within the Stormwind Stockades, it seems like that is you…” Varicar continued, his first contact would be to ensure the creature could be reasoned with… Once that was accomplished the one with more means of useful deals would be summoned and hopefully their new ally freed…

Korgorn peered between the orc and elf, at least, that’s what he could make out from his position. For all he knew, they were Nathrezim humble enough to maintain their disguises. “Korgorn Soulrender, the Shadow of Gul’Nazar. I would say it is a pleasure to meet you, but, well… these shackles are very tight. I thank you for not killing the pitiful little mage. I wanted him to be the herald of my escape, the voice of terror. Judging by the souls that had nearly escaped the Stockades,” he gestures his head at the greatmace lying nearby, “I take it your entrance was as bloody as it was quiet. Good…” Korgorn gave a quiet chuckle.

Korgorn turned his gaze to one hand, and then began shunting his power into it. Already, a finger began to manage to twitch. “As usual… even if it be a novice’s maintenance, it is an archmage’s formula. I’ll not break this swiftly… but all things wither and die, soon enough… and I am nothing if not patient,” another of his dark chuckles, “and powerful.” He turns back to the others, “But I can think of a few ways to quicken this endeavor… after all… I imagine you didn’t intend to kill your way in here only to leave empty-handed.”

Varicar nodded, his version of a formal bow in this still potentially dangerous environment… “I am designated, Varicar… Sentinel for the master, a being you may soon meet.” Varicar stated, he turned to look at the mage, to him it was just a lowly creature, no real value, it could preform magic but it’s skills in perception and any meaning of the word courage was horrid… Even if he were to be made into a homunculi it would be a poor choice…

“Indeed… Though our organization feels it could cripple and destroy the alliance, it finds such events nonessential at this time… Our organization prides itself in anonymity…” Varicar droned pausing for a second, “You can’t stop what you don’t know…” Varicar hissed, the ideals of which The Master had centered his existence upon, every villain that had been discovered eventually met a gruesome fate, even the Burning Legion had been taken down… Only those that could not be targeted by the masses survived…

Varicar examined the spellwork holding the deathknight bound in his inprisoned state, Varicar had been correct the spellwork was impressive for human standards. But as he suspected it could be more easily sabotaged by someone not trapped in its magic bonds… “Should our negotiations go well, you may not need break from these chains on your own…”

“You are correct, But it will not be me you need to convince… Deathknight…” Varicar hissed, he quickly moved to pull out a black gem from one of the pockets in his armor before tossing it lightly to the ground in front of Korgorn… The crystal hummed with dark malevolent void energy before finally activating more to life causing the shadows along the walls to tremble…

After watching Yenme fight herself internally a bit more that insipid voice attempted whispering to her once more… Isaik could have moved to forcefully silence that rather malignant infestation of Yenme’s mind, but the eredar proved strong enough to do so on her own, at least temporarily…

Isaik continued listening to Yenme’s mind of her thoughts and her continued desire to not be under Lord Salkeen’s command… The dark creature found it ironic, Lord Salkeen commanded most of not all of the demons or beings of fel… That would be until Yenme… Isaik pondered whether to place her with Skalaz or Yumara, both were a bit different than Lord Salkeen… Skalaz was normally logical and cool minded, but even he is dealing with a minion that only made failure would let his mind and will be known… The creepiest fact of Skalaz was his obsession to create new homunculi and alchemic arcane monsters, if a minion failed a outstandingly amount of times… They could unfortunately find themselves seen as ingredients instead…

Isaik has seen little of Yumara’s style of command as she was rather newer than the others… That being said from what he did see was a caring being, who would protect those minions deemed worthy and exhibit great power to salvage a mission… Hiweber to those she cared little for, they could easily be caught in her line of fire to die horrific deaths, or face the full fury of a powerful otherworldly wild god…

Isaik whispered to Yenme, “If your so sure…” Isaik knee it was time for the signing, with the object of his goal in mind he merely waited for the moment to be at hand until another roadblock was placed in his path…

Quite a nuisance… Isaik has been sure since the beginning of Salkeen’s diplomatic communications with that eredar male from that society, the sisters had been given to him… Perhaps it had been altered with two of their own going rogue… Isaik truly wondered if the society even cared that their name was being brought so low as even after so much fighting and death they sent nothing to clean in their mess… “Unfortunate…” The dark creature hissed, the contract in his hand rolling up and disappearing in a blast of black fog… Perhaps he would attempt the contract later… For now he had other pressing matters…

It wasn’t long before the crystal pulsed a dark shade of purple and a haunting image formed over its black reflections… The crystal was a tether, a means for Isaik to work incredibly long distances from his body and not be needed to travel to such places… The rather solid looking image of a dark skeletal creature appeared hovering over the gem, black fog oozed from the gem and the image in several places…

“Greetings… I see you are in need of freedom from your shackled existence, and are willing to make a deal…” Isaik hissed, this was the being that made all deals in the organization, to donsuch work with him was like making a deal with a old god… “How much is your freedom worth to you?” The image asked, he was willing to be patient, but Varicar knew eventually the alliance would start returning to their posts…

Lhashira stares the massive Fel Reaver down. She k own that this will be an epic battle. One that she has been longing for. A place to show that she isn’t weak. That she has power and potential. She calls the power of Wind and Fel I to her hands. The Fel Reaver seems to of spotted her. It moves one of its huge fel infused mechanical arms and goes to fire on the foolish Demon Hunter. But stops as if sensing something, this causes Lhashira to become more observant. She looks with her spectral sight and can see the Fel deep beneath the ground rising to the Surface. Ring swiftly to the Surface. She looks and sees a wave of demon rushing her. At first she thinks they are there to attack. She soon realizes that they are fleeing an inivitable explosion. Turning she takes wing just as the ground before her in the distance explodes upwards in a sea of fel and earth. A wave of death and destruction is headed right towards her. *What the heck was it with these Demon Lords and their penchant for over the hill destructive Magic’s. Lhashira found herself using her wind magic not only to speed up her own flight, but also to help aide those demons around her. Looking back she sees the Fel Reaver over come by the wave of death. The ground beneath it becomes molten fel lava. As it’s consumed it fires its shot. The blast strikes Lhashira in the side, shattering the hipbone and femur on her right side. She shrieks as large bloody chunks of muscles are torn from her body. Lhashira is now :100: percent certain that belonging to Lord Salkeen was going to be a complete pain in the gluteus Maximus. Lhashira lands and with the help of a potion begins to heal the damage done by the Fel Reavers hit. She has only a moment before she feels herself being pulled back into the chaos.

Lhashira wings snap open and she shoots up into the air. From her vantage point she sees a group of about five Merciless Ones floating towards a small gathering of Eredar sorcerers. Behind them ho During is a Beholder and two Gan’arg, Lhashira whips her blades around so fast all that you can hear, is a steady hummm, before that to goes silent. Then She unleashes a fel Wind blade storm down upon them. The blades made of wind and fel shred the first two merciless ones into confetti. Lhashira’s attack grabbed the attention of the Eredar sorcerers, who quickly sprung into action. A fan of fel flames burst forth from two of their hand, completely engulfing one of the horrendous squid like beasts. A sorceress punched her staff out catching one of the Gan’arg right in the chest. She strikes with enough force that she hears the sick crunch of his sternum cracking. Just before the end of her staff explodes in a blast of Shadow magic. One moment the Gan’arg was sneering and reaching off something concealed within its many pockets. The next it reaches up, sticks a hand through the hole in its chest before keeling over. She pulls her staff back just in time to see one of the Merciless Ones attach itself to the head, and face, of one of the Sorcerers. She swings her staff again but misses the Merciless One as the Sorcerer it is feeding from drops to th ground. It’s body starts violently jerking about, its legs and arms flailing around madly. After a few seconds the body goes still, and all you hear are these horrific sucking sounds.

When the creature releases its prey and moves away. The Eredar sorceress shudders in complete revulsion at what she sees. The face of the Eredar had been eaten away. The front of the skull was missing, and the brain had been devoured. Still something moved within the skull moving closer, a mini Merciless one jumps out of the skull right at her face, and is sliced in half in mid air. One half hits the ground the other bounces off of her face. Between Lhashira and the Eredar they manage to bring down the remaining Merciless Ones, the beholder however was… not going to be much of a problem soon. Lhashira watches as the puller of void erupts from the sky, grabbing the Sorceress she shoots straght up into the air, barely avoids the beholders disintegration beam. The remaining Ereda weren’t so fortunate, or perhaps they were. The blast of Shadowfel amalgamation that followed wiped out a good size chunk of Lord Salkeen’s Demonic forces both on the ground and in the air. Lhashira turns and sees a vessel engage the giant Primal like beast. She watches the Primal unleash a swarm of twisted humanoid size wasps at the vessel. Lhashira swoops down and drops the Sorceress on the ground before letting her weapons fly, blasting most of the foul beasts from the ship. She catches her blades as they return, grinning she swoops in close ready to battle.

“That inconsiderate, insensitive, harebrained, thoughtless baboons backside.” Suzuna rants as she bolts up into a sitting position, a few minutes after her new body is created. “She killed me the freaking brainless witch killed me. No…why thank you for helping me Suzuna, I greatly appreciate your tossing that creep from my mind. Noooo not Jericha, Thank you doesn’t exist in her vocabulary. However melting someone down into a puddle of goo, after exploding you does.” Suzuna continues to rant and rave for about five more minutes. During that time she call Jericha almost every foul thing she can think of.

Then slowly other thought start creeping into her mind. The first was she was alive again but how? She had been wandering through the mass destruction Jericha had caused when her void was unleashed. She had been trying to help many of the other demons that had been with her. Many didn’t even realize they had been completely obliterated. As these thoughts pour into her head others quickly follow. She realizes rather swiftly that she’s no longer on the battlefield. Yet if she’s not there, then where is she, is she back with the society? Suzuna stops what she is doing and looks around her. She is in a lab of sorts, and from what she can see of it. It is a lab used for experiments. For experimenting n what she isn’t sure, she isn’t sure she wants to know either. Some of the things moving about, in a few of those tubes look absolutely vile. She continues to scan the room, and one thing seems to stand out to her, the room doesn’t seem to have a door. Quietly she goes to stand up so that she can further investigate.

Suzuna lets out a startled gasp, she hadn’t even noticed the Goblin until now. Once she recovers she wets her lips with her tongue and speaks. “Excuse me, but where am I, I remember walking around the destruction after Jericha exploded a good portion of us, trying to help, trying to get back to Lord Salkeen"… Suzuna suddenly goes silent, her eyes widening *Lord Salkeen, she had to get back Salkeen, she belonged with Lord Salkeen, she had to be with Lord Salkeen… “Where’s Lord Salkeen I need to get back to Lord Salkeen…” as Suzuna speaks to the Goblin her mind is also desperately screaming out Lord Salkeen’s name over and over, as she frantically tries to think of a way to get back to him.

Ahcire scoffed watching her lord strike at Abdulbai with all his might freeing Jericha in the process. Abdulbai and Ebony should have realized fighting against Lord Salkeen was a task that very few could achieve, the demon lords strength and rage truly made him a foe to contend with! Ahcire’s thoughts of victory however were cut short as Jericha with her net awoken power detonated a massive shadow fel blast that raked across the land! Demons and combatants from both sides were obliterated in the power of the great spell, those not destroyed fleeing the power of it or taking shelter from its deadly Magic’s with anything they could! Ahcire saw plenty of demons using the craggy rocks as shields to protect them from the horrid death, yet still as they clung to their small place of safety, fel and void continued to explode outward! Ahcire was not like the others, with no safety of jagged rocks or volcanic caves the elf had no choice but to fly upwards as apparently a good portion of others of Salkeen’s army had done! Many pilots survived though not as much as should have been, it seemed with Sericon going out away from the Lord’s ships the other pilots were not as skilled! A surprising amount of felbats survived sensing the impending doom right before its apex as animals did! Ahcire was with them flying high on her new mount, a creature she was sure to name as she had come to enjoy its presence beneath her feet. The elf watched a particularly fast oneof Salkeen’s fighters launch up before diving down after the explosion in a spinning fall, taking its speed and directing its rage at the corrupted guardian! The massive corrupted thing seemed to snarl in rage at the brazen attack and tried to bring the vessel down before summoning legions of corrupted wasp like creatures!

The battle was beyond words as the wasps attacked the vessel trying to bring it down only for it to be saved by Lhashira, the demon hunter who had taken a liking to the Lord. Ahcire knee she had to help pulling her arrow back she loosed three arrows skewering several corrupted wasps from the back of her steed! Ahcire would not have thought such a thing were possible if it had not occurred but as she struck out with her attacks the surviving army of felbats heeded her call flocking down from the sky in a swarm much seen like that at the broken shore! Felbats flew and dove erratically around the corrupted guardian snatching the corrupted wasps from the airlike the natural bats of Azeroth might do to a mosquito! In moments the air around the guardian became that of flapping wings and screeching calls! Ahcire leapt up to stand on her felbats back once more and readied to fire arrows at the corrupted guardian when the unthinkable happened, from behind her painful umbral tentacles snatched her from her mount and began to pull her into a waiting rift like void! The elf struggled and pulled but to no avail, her only solace and freedom was her felbat turning to take the insipid tentacles with its demon claws! The felbat hissed and snarled freeing his rider from the treacherous grass of the void, he had nearly succeeded when in retaliation the tentacles decided to take the felbat along with her!

Ahcire closed her eyes, she could tell what was happening, the horrid place the tentacles were attempting to drag her too… Inhaling a soft breath, Ahcire exhaled calling upon her great power and pulling a arrow from her quiver, focusing her power of the light the elf channeled the power into her arrow until even trapped with the tentacles of the void it shined like a setting sun! Ahcire apologized, she hoped she was making the right choice, she felt this was right, like this was the way for them to survive, but to do so she needed to do a test of faith… Taking the arrow in her hand like a dagger she stabbed it at her own heart, upon impact the arrow flashed with light filling Ahcire entirely her body forming cracks filled with the lights radiance before she exploded in a shower of light banishing the void rift and its tentacles for good! From the sky Ahcire’s mount fell riderless before it slowly caught itself from its free fall and frantically searched for its rider! A sight even with its special senses the beast could not see, with a mournful screech the felbat called our to its rider hoping for anything!

Jaseiah hit the ground running and let out a loud cheer as she watched Ahcire speed off towards where their Lord Father was fighting the dark being called Abdulbai. She has never met this being before, yet she instinctively knows that it has caused her mother a great amount of terror and pain. She silently wishes her sister luck, as she sends her massive two handed hammer hurling end over end into a group of Imps, six normal and two fel. The hammer strikes the closest fel imp right in the chest, before exploding into an blast of light. The Fel Imps body burst into a shower of bloodied bits and bone shards. The Imps around it found their bodies being shredded by the force of the blast. The ones further away were writhing about the ground in agony, the light having dissolved most of their flesh, a large portion of the underlying tissue. There were teeth and bone splinters embedded throughout their bodies. Their pain ends as Jaseiah call a Judgement down upon them.

Jaseiah feels something wrap around her just as the world around her explodes into total chaos, even with being shielded Jaseiah feels nothing but terror, and agony. She feels like her body is being ripped apart, her flesh, and muscles are being shorn from her bones. Her bone are burning, drying, cracking, shattering. Her organs are being cooked, and then liquified. She screams, until her voice breaks, and blood begins to drip past dry cracked lips. When she finally stops she is unable to move, there’s no living things anywhere in the vicinity of where she now lies. Just piles of ashes and gelatinous blobs that were once…once… Jaseiah wasn’t even sure. She realizes that her body feels nearly paralyzed, yet she can move her head and eyes slightly. In the distance she sees Yumara fighting with the Avatar that she had created. She then looks for signs that her mother, Lord Father and sister were okay.

Jaseiah watches the pillar of void as it comes down from the darkened sky. As it strikes her mother, Jaseiah suddenly feels this sense of doom, that strangles her breath. It felt like watching the person most important to you dying and being unable to do anything at all to stop it. That complete feeling of absolute helplessness and hopelessness.

Jaseiah screeches as her body is completely wrapped in dark corruptive void tentacles. She feels herself being pulled down into a sea of tortured souls. She can hear them sobbing and begging, they are screaming at her to help them. She can feel them trying to grab at her through the tentacles that encase her. Their hands are like ice, so cold that they burn. Jaseiah can feel the souls trying desperately to get to her. She wants to blast free of her tentacled prison, but if she does the million of souls will claim her. Jaseiah suddenly feels something moving further beneath the ground she is sinking down into. Something is pulling the broken souls away from her. The thing below is getting closer, and closer, I’ve got you, don’t worry.

Korgorn would have raised a brow if he still had one. “Ah, a man with a flare for the dramatic. However, I’m afraid we may not have much time to indulge you. You see, if there’s one thing Stormwind’s troops are, it’s punctual. My host body is slow, but strong, I’d need a mount to move with any sort of swiftness. If need be, I can provide a distraction, but regardless, the sooner we come to an agreement, the better.”

He paused, “As for freedom… what freedom? We are all slaves to someone or something, no matter how powerful we may become. Even if you should break the physical bonds of magic that hold me now, I remain chained to my… thirst, for destruction, for the annihilation of this pitiful planet.” Korgorn went on. “My ‘freedom’ is but a trifling thing, not really worth much at all… but a chance to drink deep of the waters of desolation…? A chance to destroy this world and all who hold it dear…? Ohohoh…”

Korgorn’s head tilted. He heard boots. “Well… sadly we’ll have to postpone price negotiations. It seems the Stormwind Guard hasn’t dragged their feet on this one.” His eyes glowed directly at the hologram. “Grant me the chaos I seek… and the tides of darkness will wash over your foes. Or, you may leave me here, to escape years hence. I am a patient orc… I’ve waited this long, after all.” He said. “We can hammer out the specifics when we have the luxury of time, yes?”

Salkeen gave a wicked grin, Abdulbai’s words only fueled the fel demon beast’s hunger he knew Abdulbai would not live much longer if they kept the attacks up! That was when sonething happened that seemed to fill Abdulbai with fear, a massive shadow fel explosion rocked the entire volcano blasting its cap clean off and leaving a massive crater filled with shadows and fel pooling together in streams… In time a new geological structure would be born a shadow fel volcano… The consuming explosion rocked the land incinerating countless demons from both sides, only those quick or clever enough to take cover behind the jagged rocks would save their own lives! A great amount of legion fighter vessels were blown from the sky or sent crashing into each other, the ground or even the bigger vessels… One massive vessel took several hard strikes before it’s shields blinked offline and it was consumed by the explosions! The ship billowed smoke before crashing out of the sky and slamming into the ground!

Salkeen stood unaffected by the devastation, his witch behind him! A flash of darkness assured Lord Salkeen that this Jericha was powering up to levels that would make the pair untouchable…

Salkeen glared Abdulbai down, wjen Jericha was done he would obliterate the foolish creature…

Salkeen hissed low… A true rage of a demon lord that might send others fleeing in terror… “Your vile and putrid way will only bring you such unimaginable pain you will beg for complete oblivion…” Salkeen hissed, Within second the demon lord lunged forward causing a blast of rocks behind his form! Screeching like horrid beast the demon lord leapt into the air before glaring down at his prey, a blinding flash of green sigh red fire filled the heavens before Salkeen poured at his energy into his eyes and sending a blast of fel energy so strong it would feel like a solar flare striking the planet at that very spot Abdulbai stood! A massive crack could be heard as the heavens burned, the ground grew soft and melted into a fel field of molten lava! Salkeen finished the aggressive attack by throwing himself down into the area below impacting the ground so hard it created a force of blast that sent earth, boulders and fel lava high into the sky! In his intense rage the demon lord glanced up to see what he feared most,

Salkeen growled in demonic fury, his body pulsing with energy before with a roar it exploded outwards sending the towering walls of fel lava and rocks crashing around the battlefield! “Nooo!!!” The demon lord howled in rage his body wreathed in fel flames, the demon lord then grew incredibly silent looking for any traces of Abdulbai or Nedde… They were going to pay…

Isaik observed the deathknight rather silently, he wasn’t sure what meant by a flare for the dramatic, he had minions with much more flare… Isaik only prefered to give a hint of his power… “Indeed…”

Isaik tilted his head slightly, “Destruction and death? I am sure we can make that happen…” Isaik hissed… While a full blown and public attack on the alliance was less than useful at this time, causing any sort of destruction in the mean time was more than welcomed…

Isaik watched Korgorn carefully, trying to read any other emotion other than sincerity in his words… “It appears you are quite correct… We will make our deal later…” The dark creature hissed… Glaring at Varicar, he knew the homunculi would know what to do… Without another word the gem and hologram shattered making it appear as if the Master was never there…

Varicar had been watching silently ready for any command when his master willed it… As it seemed the discussions were over and the alliance started coming closer, Varicar could hear exclamations of surprise when they found their allies dead…

Varicar nodded conjuring a massive blast of fel chi in his hand before with several quick strikes he sent the chaotic magic impacting into several spots of the wards holding the creature! The wards shrieked as they tried to hold off the assault and the deathknights strength… Varicar chuckled slightly conjuring another large blast of fel chi again and sent them crashing into the wards so hard the stones underneath cracked from the force! With a massive blast of Magic’s designed to be opposites of each other the wards dissolved releasing their prisoner from their bonds, the only thing holding the undead creature now was metal shackles…

Varicar stood ready for their target to free himself, surely some simple iron shackles would not hold something like Korgorn before turning to glare at the door way screaming and yelling for Stormwind guards meant they were readying themselves to take down the intruders… Surely they were entirely unprepared for this…

Varicar had one more trick up his sleeve bringing his leg up high and sending it crashing down sending a wave of chi deep into the ground and reverberating into the walls of stockades… The homunculus saw exactly what he was looking for, along the pathways that lead near to where Hogger used to be housed, the walls of one of the stockades cells were entirely too close to the catacombs rumored to be under the Slaughtered Lamb… That would be their escape route… Yet something still caught the homunculi off guard!

Pinned to the wall like a bug! Braumer never wanted to be in any situation like this! He was doomed, stuck here to die! He could hear the chatting, talking their evil words and plans ready to kill him! Braumer couldn’t, he just couldn’t! Braumer froze up, he literally froze up, a block of ice forming over his body freeing him from his bonds but putting him in another prison… The anxious mage watched with growing fear as a large Orc glared at the mage through the frozen ice! A Laughing Skull Orc!!! Braumer could just faint, but he needed to flee! “Must get away… Must get away…” The mage muttered over and over… Finally it was his moment in a flash Braumer disintegrated his ice block and blinked out the door! The mage running at full speed blinked again farther away nearly running down the stockade halls as fast as a gryphon could fly!

“He’s loose!!! Horde in the dungeon! Horde in the stockades!!! The deathknight is loose!!” Braumer screamed running full speed towards his salvation, he wanted to live!! Braumer ran past a contingent of Stormwind guards charging towards the prison cell of Korgorn before Braumer was hit hard on the side of the face with a metal gauntlet! Sending the mags crashing into the floor and nearly breaking his nose…

Jakk sneered, no one was going to escape from his cells under his watch! The guard captain growled as he heard that sniveling mage coming closer and closer! Jakk watched Braumer rum past a formation of guards they would stop those horde fools… As Braumer got closer Jakk brought his hand up and slapped the mage hard into the wall! “Get a damn grip soldier! Get back up and get down there! No one gets out now!!” Jakk roared, the commanding guard glared behind him and barked out commands, “Seal it off nobody is going anywhere until everything is in order or dead!” The human roared!

Behind him his soldiers listened conjuring force fields of great power over every opening the stockades had! The front door of the stockades were completely sealed with arcane not even the air would be able to leave the stockades! The sewers that the Zandalari has escaped in earlier in the war also sealed off, nothing would get out! “Now get my prisoner! I want this mess picked up before Berex get here!” Jakk roared directing more Stormwind guards down to the cells!

Jakk started walking towards the cell to, if his soldiers hadn’t subdued that broken deathknight then he would do it himself! Jakk sneered as he saw Braumer still sniveling on the ground, grabbing the mage by the back of his robes he pulled the cowardly spellflinger up and threw him forward! “Freeze them down! I want my prisoners!!” Jakk kicker Braumer in the butt sending him forward at a abysmal rate! “NOW BRAUMER!!!” Jakk roared causing Braumer to shuffle off behind the alliance guards…

Victur spun wildly as they moved through the nether at a fast speed, yet even as they did this they had to be wary, anything still from Val floating alongside them could injure them. Victur himself had been watching a small shard of ice ricochet from one side to the other in the field of magic they were all floating in… Victur also spied a much larger boulder slowly turning, that they would need to avoid when they finally exited the nether…

During this wait Victur could reflect, the nether was his home he had lived among its chaotic depths for nearly ten thousand years… After a horrid mistake that sent the young warlock careening through the nether, Victur had to learn how to survive with almost nothing… As anyone with eyes could see, that didn’t entirely happen, Victur had passed away many eons ago but the dark magic he used allowed him to continue his existence in a different sort of way… Victur was tempted to continue his thoughts when their exit came up on them! With a great flash a nether portal ripped open on the slopes of Mount Neverest and Victur flew out with all the grace and majestic moves of a rock elemental trying to swim! The undead went crashing into the rock and ice nearby face first!

Victur could hear the others coming after Smuggs flying out and landing a big awkwardly but still upright, the gnome had been through way to much… His bones still aches horridly, the gnome pushed his gun into the dirt to hold himself up… Than came Vaunn and Maleok, Vaunn landed much like a cat completely with ease as if the ice and snow helped the wolf keep his balance… Maleok crashed hard into the snow before rising slowly he was also still in much pain… Lastly was Myrandah!

The very second the wards broke, the room was suffused with Korgorn’s essence, his power. It was immediately clear why an Archmage was chosen to conjure the wards that held Korgorn. Anything less would have failed instantly. The colossus of bone, armor, and black magic rose from the floor, the shackles having snapped free from his form. Korgorn took two great strides to cross the room, hefting his greatmace from the floor and ‘cracking’ his neck.

A footman charged towards Korgorn as he crossed the threshold of the door. Before that footman could so much as gasp, his body was broken between the wall and the mace. Korgorn turned his head to address the other footmen who were now backing away from the death knight warily. “Next.” He commanded.

Two of the footmen obliged him. They died as swiftly as the first, one to the mace, another to a shadowy claw ripping at his soul.

As slow and lumbering as Korgorn would prove to be, Varicar and Throggore would witness several more squads of guardsmen die, brutally. It was not hard to track Korgorn in the Stockades, but it was tremendously difficult for any of the Stormwind soldiers to slow Korgorn any more than he already was.

Then, several minutes into the escape, Korgorn growled low, and lifted a hand. “I grow weary of disposing of this trash. Bloodied dead, heed the call of the Soulrender! Arise, arise and do my bidding! SLAY THE ENEMIES OF GUL’NAZAR!” He called out, a deathly fog seeming to roll through the Stockades… and then the dead rose, presenting even further tribulation to the guards. The dead were numerous, but they weren’t abominations. They could be felled, given discipline, a steady hand, and a sure strike. But they would provide Korgorn with what he seeks: time and distance.

Turning to Varicar, the death knight hefted his greatmace, “Let the fodder do as they are meant to do. Continue, we shall make use of the time those rotting corpses buy us.”

Yumara flies down along the twisted paths within the guardian. Her feet making no sounds and leaving no footprints behind. The rows of vine like tentacles on either side of her body whip about, ripping tainted creatures from their hidden alcoves, within the trees and brushes. Yumara cannot stop her movement if she does the very earth she treads upon would seek to claim her. As it is most of the fur and flesh on her legs is shedded and dripping clear watery fluid. Poisonous ones covered in wicked thorns wrap around her legs and body trying to stop her. One of the sucker mouths filled with long spine like teeth closes over the upper half of a shadow tainted Dryad. There’s a sickly wet crunch, followed by a the sound of bones being crushed. When the tentacle pulls away, the entire head and upper torso, have been cleanly bitten off from the rest of the body. Blood sprays from it body like it was shooting from a geyser. It runs a few more steps before collapsing a large puddle of blood forming around it. A half dozen barbed arrows dipped in acidic goo pierce her flank on one half of her body. Yumara howls in pain as the tentacles rip them along with chunks of flesh and muscle from her body. Two of the plant like mouths on the ends spew a thick gel into the gaping hole in her side. Muscle and flesh began to rapidly repair itself, as Yumara spews a thick mist from her mouth at the offenders. Within second it engulfs them and eats away all of their flesh lifeless twigs crumble to the ground in small piles of kindling.

Yumara stumbles and nearly collapses as fire rakes up along her body. She feels as though one whole have of her body is being consumed by Salkeen’s flames. She hears a loud buzzing sound coming from further up within the Guardian. Yumara desperately needs to reach the heart of the Avatar, so that she can try and purify it. She switches into her Primal form, and heals what damage she has taken in the process. She spins unleashing a whirlwind of leaves. Where they hit they begin to purify the area around them, it isn’t much but it is a start.

A concussive wave of light energy tears through the Guardian, blasting the void taint from it. All of the creatures that weren’t fully corrupted are cleansed. Those that are corrupted are disintegrated on the spot. The heart wakes up and the second thing of wasps that the Avatar spews forth come out and immediately begin to attack the remaining void and fel offenders. Yumara collapses she doesn’t have long to rest, Jericha will need to be contained in some way soon. Yumara knows that asking Master to intervene is going to anger both Salkeen and Jericha. She could hope that Jericha would willingly except Masters aid, but she doesn’t see that happening. Now that she has a moment she speaks into the Masters mind. Master you might need to contain Jericha, she will still belong fully to Salkeen, you will just be sort of keeping her from destroying herself, and ending Izzabelle, Orion, and myself in the process. We both know that she will not allow you to help her. Still she will need to be contained somehow, before it’s to late. She then sends Master an image, one that she has spent a lifetime trying to forget.

Master sees it through Yumara’s eyes. There’s a massive battle battle taking place upon a sea of tortured souls. Armies of undead and void monstrosities are clashing into armies of light. Broken souls try desperately to pull the combatants down, beneath the ever moving and moaning depths. Yumara speeds at impossible speeds towards a large object in the distance. The desperation could be felt in the rapid beating of her heart, and the chaos that was filling her mind. Orion sped along right beside her. There was a vanguard flanking them, preventing them from being slowed. As quickly as they were destroyed more appeared. Soon the object comes into view. It’s a large archway that seems to reach up to the very heavens. It’s width is easily a few hundred meters long. The entirety of the archway is made of bodies, millions of broken and twisted bodies, Who’s faces all belong to Jericha’s. All of them are begging, screaming, sobbing, moaning, shrieking, etc, in agony, despair, loss, dread, and hopelessness. Just hearing it had Yumara feeling like she should just give up. Why even bother, it was useless she was totally useless. She should just let the souls claim her, she was noth… she shakes her head, and steals her mind against the feelings of despair caused by the horrendous caterwauling.

As she approaches she can now see Jericha standing there, Ebony behind her, his hands resting resting protectively on her shoulders. He seems to be conducting her on what to do. As the Archway screams, Jericha starts to pour her soul into the center of it. It swiftly spreads reaching with billions of shadowy tendrils towards the archway, quickly filling the space between. Yumara watches helpless as Jericha’s spirit becomes a gateway, a gateway to the world destruction. Yet it is more than that, she is more than that. More than a simple gateway, she is the key portal. Once fully operational, gateways that had been established on other world would open as well. She had to prevent this, no matter the cost she needed to prevent the completion. They are finally within attacking distance, Yumara can hear Ebony speaking. “Yes, yes that’s it, my precious, wonderful, beautiful little girl. You are doing such a magnificent job, can you feel them?” After a second Jericha’s Head turns and she smiles, and gives an affirmative nod of her head. Ebony smiles and lightly kisses the top of her head “That is wonderful my beautiful girl, simply wonderful. Call them towards the gateway… let them know that a path is being opened for them.” Yumara doesn’t understand what Jericha is saying, as she is speaking in the long forgotten languages of the old gods. “Come, come the doorway is open, crossover, there world waiting to be corrupted, come the doorway is open.”

Yumara doesn’t wait she pulls her bow from her back and fires it. An arrow of light flies towards the top of the archway growing in size, until it resembles a meteor streaking through the sky. It strikes the center of the archway at the top. As it does Orion appears above it in his god form and freezes time on it. Preventing to chorus of despair from reaching the troops fighting to prevent this destruction. Yumara rapidly fires a second arrow, and then a third. On the fourth the archway begins to crumble. Jericha drops to the ground screaming in both fury and agony. As the archway collapses. Ebony turns and fires a massive bolt of void at Yumara which is intercepted by half a dozen defenders. Yumara pulls out a special arrow and fires it directly at Jericha, Ebony pulls Jericha behind him, and when the arrow strikes his soul, and mind are thrown from the body he is using. Yumara’s next arrow strikes Jericha blasting her mind free of her body. Orion appears next to the soulless shell, grabbing it he both he and the body vanish. Yumara in turn spins and changes into her Guardian form. In less than a nanosecond she starts to devour and destroy Jericha’s soul. Within a scant few seconds there’s nothing left of it. Yumara’s mind fills with devastation, and despair as she destroys everything Jericha is. She hates Ebony with everything that she is, she hates him for forcing her to destroy, one of the only things she had ever loved. She hates herself for letting Jericha down, when she had needed her the most, for leaving her defenseless against an adversary that she couldn’t of won against. She pulls what remains of Jericha’s mind into her own and ties it to her soul. She would need to create a body for her. With the destruction of the Archway and the apparent loss of the Master, Ebony’s armies were faltering… with that the image begins to face

Master as the void pours into Jericha, it will destroy the fel, it will destroy her mind, along with the piece of Salkeen’s soul that Jericha possesses. Once she has been fully claimed by the void she will use her power to try and open the gateway from before. Yet she is no longer capable of that, but she will try and kill herself, Orion, Izzabelle, and I in the process. Her body is needed to create the archway, her soul to create the actual portal. Her mind conducting and holding it all together. Yet she no longer has a soul, and her body remains beyond the reach of all. Please Master Yumara jumps up and rushes back down along her earlier path, exiting the Avatar a moment later.

Skalaz perked a ear in her direction listening to such vulgarity and words that might make a undead banshee blush, but to Skalaz it was like a afternoon with his now dead mother. The goblin let the women rant for a awhile longer while he took a cage containing two wolves and prepared to change them into perhaps something more useful…

“You are on the black citadel, the vessel of the Master of Salkeen.” Skalaz called back to the women taking to metal rods inscribed with runes and symbols the goblin began to channel magic that would result in a newly created alchemic chimera…

Skalaz sighed putting down his channeling rods, “I could get you back to Lord Salkeen, but you might just wake up here again…” The goblin warned, it wasn’t beyond his reasoning that Suzuna would be killed by those two elves reckless use of magic again… “Do you have a plan, or am I to expect you back soon?” Skalaz asked nonchalantly, he knew the elf was impatient but he could hardly divulge time to continuously resurrect the same person over and over again… That wasn’t including the complications that might occur from doing so too many times…

Skalaz picked up the channeling rods and finally brought them together on the two wolves in the nearby cages! Howling out in agony and terror the sounds of ripping flesh and snapping bones filled the lab as Skalaz used his prisoners as ingredients for something better… Skalaz tilted his head examining the transmutation while he worked, shaming his head he poured more energy into the spell matrix causing the horrid sounds of sucking wounds and grinding teeth… Finally Skalaz saw what he was waiting for and pushing a bit more finished the spell with a flash of purple light… Skalaz stepped back to admire his creation, a two headed white wolf creature… Teeth like steel and claws as sharp as diamonds, the creature growled low before slamming itself against the cage with a audible clang! She was hungry… Skalaz couldn’t blame the creature it now had two stomachs to feed…

Skalaz turned back to Suzuna, no doubt still mentally breaking down about the demon lord below… “If you come back here in pieces again, I’ll give you three eyes so you can better watch out for yourself.” Skalaz said seemingly completely serious, with a wave of his hand a portal opened to the battlefield below!

Varicar watched as the deathknight took eager strides to escape this prison he had been trapped in for such a long time… Still the homunculi’s composure was stalwart near the undead creature, Varicar had been around such powerful demonic forces the deathknight only reminded him of his commanders… Still the sheer physical prowess of Korgorn was notable, on pair or higher with the Drakkari deathknight they had lost earlier!

Varicar watched as Korgorn killed two more targets in his part, the homunculi would hardly let Korgorn enjoy all the fun… A Stormwind guard slipped behind the deathknight what his true plan was Varicar could hardly guess, even from behind it hardly seemed like human forged blades would bring Korgorn down! Crouching low the fel monk got into a command stance, as the human nearer the monk reacted. A swift strike to the guards helmet with the palm of his hand, disorientating his prey, before Varicar followed his move with a swift kick to the inside of the guards left knee snapping the pitiful humans bone… Finally Varicar brought his fist back hard before jabbing full force at the center of the guards chest armor and towards his sternum… The human dropped with hardly a sound, the sternum was a weak part of the human body, small and sharp with the right amount of force it could be sent like a bullet into the heart awaiting behind it…

Varicar watched as the deathknight did as his mind were so famous for, calling upon the power of death the undead monster rose a small army of the fools who had already been slain, a distraction the prison guards would surely despise. Already Varicar heard the orchestra of undead flesh and bodies charge into risen metal shields… The deathknight had created a full blown prison riot without freeing a single prisoner from his cell… Still something felt a bit off, they were lacking something else that might drive the foolish alliance defenders to madness…

Varicar took a lower stance calling upon his vile mist once more, the lingering effects could still help them at this very moment. For inside each cell quite safe from undead monsters and the unwary alliance guards slept those unlucky enough to be incarcerated in this unforgiving pit, still affected by Varicar’s corrupted mists of Chi-Ji, it was time for Varicar to create a better mood for their escape! Twisting his hand in a vile claw like spell symbol the fel deep inside the sleeping mist activated, those trapped in their comatose state started to shriek and fall out in pain and agony! Every single prisoner afflicted by the horrid mists now experienced nightmares of the most vile and painful fashion, whatever they dreamt now could really inflict on them agonizing feelings of pain!

Nodded to Korgorn, a cruel grin forming on the inside of his mask, “And let the screams of nightmares cover our presence…” Varicar hissed, the constant screaming of the prisoners trapped in a eternal nightmare would mask the sounds of combat for the group, in this maze of stockades the alliance would need to search warily for if a guard or platoon was caught unprepared they would surely perish…

Varicar closed his eyes tapping his foot on the hard stone floor, he was using his skull to find the exit they so desired… “That way…” Hissed Varicar, “The alliance in their arrogance have not created the perfect prison…” Varicar explainer before leading the group down a hall way that would deep underground in the stockades…
