Ered’Kiels Desolation (IC Closed 2)

Braumer gave a weak smile, he had hoped his friend would get better, the overworked mage could still tell the night elf was unhappy not charging into battle and avenging his home…

That was the sound the mage dreaded so much, the call from his boss that seemed to hate him! Jakk tormented his prisoners with weak jabs and empty promises, but Jakk also taunted certain employees the same way… Picking himself up Braumer waved goodbye to his night elven friend and made his way towards the stockades, and down inside… The mage was not one who should even be guarding such a place, Braumer looked left and right at the other criminals… Thieves, beggars, robbers, murderers, highwaymen! They all glared at Braumer as he walked by they wanted to gut him like a fish just because he was a guard!

Every step Braumer took felt like his boots were getting heavier, his entire body wanted to turn around and go sit at the pub than be anywhere near the creature he was forced to guard… The human sighed, it was just another day where he would be taunted by Jakk every other hour and sit within glaring reach of that unholy beast…

Turning down another hallway his entire body felt like it was being crushed by boulders, until he entered the doorway of his charge… Jakk was already in the room taunting the creature, Korgorn had been responding back… Braumer just hoped they wouldn’t notice him as the mage stepped into a spell circle near the corner and began to recite a few arcane spells… The mages job was simple, reinforcing the wards everyday, and using his power to ensure Korgorn was unable to move at all! The mage quickly saw a worn down area of the spell barriers, it seemed Korgorn had been trying to worm his way out of the spellwork… Braumer sighed and making a few gestures reinforced the magic that had worn down enough for the deathknight to wiggle his finger…

The mage groaned he was gonna be here all night, hopefully if he was lucky they would both just leave him alone… Perhaos Braumer could even get some sleep if that deathknight was anyway in a caring mode… Braumer chastised himself, that would never happen, and if it did Braumer would probably be beaten senseless by Jakk for nodding off…

Varicar watched as the mage was called inside and the night elf finally took off, the elven thing making its way towards the docks and presumably the rest of his people… Varicar glared at the door now he could force his way in, conjuring a ball of chi in his hands that monk was going to shatter the lock into a million pieces when surprisingly the door popped open Throggore staring at the monk in the face before ushering him inside… Varicar was a bit confused, how in the fel did Throggore manage to sneak inside before Varicar could and more importantly into a locked house!

The elf made his way inside before looking at Throggore up and down, the minuscule traces of ash and soot meant Throggore had simply shimmied down the chimney… Varicar nodded he needed no other information from the rogue and set examine the home of the gnome, to his surprise it looked mostly normal, almost like a human lived here… The monk could tell it was mostly a mask for what Smuggs did hiddenly nearby… Slowly creeping around the living room the monk glared at every crevice until he noticed a chair with a rug around it… It struck him as peculiar for some reason, slowly the monk approached it before closing his eyes and trying to feel the other thing that didn’t belong… The monk opened his eyes, he saw it… The tiniest amount of dust not settled on a edge of the nearby table, Varicar felt around it until he pressed his fingers on a button…

The room clicked before suddenly the chair Varicar had inspected early tilted back to reveal a hidden tunnel descending into a underground laboratory… Varicar grinned before making his way towards in and down inside… It didn’t take him long to reach what he desired… A room filled with animal samples and caged crocolisks, along the walls were papers revealing designs of every kind from genetically modified creatures to bombs of a lethal nature… “Take it all, every piece of information we can…” Varicar commanded before doing so himself… The monk pried open a metal container filled with dna altering syringes and quickly poured them into his pouch… The monk glanced around before picking up a paper of atomics and nuclear energy used in Gnomeregan, the second paper next to it detailed the possible creation of a bomb using nuclear power and the potential burning power it might yield if they focused on the blast rather than radiation…

The monk moved to the other side of the room noting a stack of papers detailing Smuggs encounters with the master… Varicar knee just how to deal with such things… Grabbing a nearby Bunsen burner the elf set the detailed papers on fire! None would know of these events… Varicar glared at the flames, “grab anything else of value, then we are moving on, I got another task for us…” The monk hissed, he would like to pay this deathknight a visit…

Korgorn did, indeed, gaze at the mage for a fleeting instant, before returning to his verbal disarmament of the jailor’s taunts, but immediately afterwards, returned his attention to the mage. “But that, on the other hand, is the spitting image of professionalism and efficiency. No hesitation at all, human… you saw an err in the wards and you corrected it. I admire that. I’m sure your mentor is quite proud of your progress.” Unholy eyes turned to Jakk. “Some fools, though, will never recognize talent when it stands before them. Alas, such is the price of brilliance.”

Korgorn remained silent after that. He didn’t expect to sow the seeds of discord here, but, well, he wouldn’t be a Stormreaver if he didn’t try.

Throggore moved much faster than Varicar did as the rogue just moved over the roofs of the mage district quickly and without pause he made his way to the rooftop of the house that had been hinted to be Smuggs… Varicar seemed to be fumbling on the outside of the door, or listening to two alliance fools who were chatting nearby… Throggore couldn’t hear them so made no try to do so and instead made his way to the chimney… Sucking in his gut as much as he could the rogue dove into the chimney and shimmied his way down, he paused as he almost got stuck but forced his way through! The Orc landed hard in the inside of the house before dusting himself off and heading for the front door, he knew Varicar was nearby. Moving quickly the rogue unlocked the door to see Varicar conjuring a ball of chi in his hands, did he not expect Throggore to get in and infiltrate so easily?

The monk made his way in before quickly figuring out how to get down into Smuggs’s lab… They both entered the lab before making their way to collect all the useful information… While Varicar grabbed syringes and papers Throggore examined mechanical weapons on the walls, he was sure these were useful enough to take…

Throggore looked around picking up any metal technologies that looked advanced enough, before pausing and staring at a few blades that looked like they were infused with technology! Some had pipes and tubes others had beams and lasers… Finally the Orc turned back to look at Varicar who had set a part of the lab on fire…

Throggore nodded scooping up a few more things before they both made their way out of the laboratory… In time the fire would grow and it would destroy everything still left within… Throggore as soon as he left the house shrouded them both in a invisible shroud before moving towards the stockades! It wasn’t long before they heard it… “Fire!! Get water!!” Someone called, the house they were just put now in full blaze! The guards near the stockades bolted off to find waster they could hardly let a blaze like that near the prison! Throggore and Varicar used the moment to enter the stockades and make their way towards their target…

Jakk scoffed, “You know your never going to see the outside of this cell again! You will never be on any ship to that unholy place… I’m content to live out the rest of my days seeing your ugly face here in this cell!” The human taunted, he hardly cared if Korgorn told them or not he was getting paid either way… What did bother Jakk was Braumer’s tardiness…

Jakk laughed, “Do you not see these walls? Your horde tried to stamp us out before, yet we remain! We rebuilt! These walls are now stronger than ever!”

Jakk turned to look back at Korgorn, “Perhaps I will, it’s not like you need this junk of a hammer anyway… You will never leave here!” Jakk taunted, he could call a few dark iron dwarves to melt the thing down into slag…

Jakk took out his own sword and held it aloft! “Come on then, do it! Take it! Oh… That’s right… No magic for you!” Jakk taunted he cracked himself up all the time… He was so busy berating Korgorn he didn’t notice Braumer wander in and begin his magic…

Jakk’s face turned sour, “He’s still late, I’m docking his pay for it! Looks like you gotta stay late Braumer, you and your ugly friend here…” Jakk taunted… Jakk opened his mouth to berate the two again when a call rang out from another guard… “Fire! There’s a fire!” The voice echoed down the prison… Jakk cursed, it was probably Braumer who started that blaze! “I’ll be back, Braumer I’m sure you can handle the bag of bones for a second, if it’s at all possible!” Jakk said sarcastically, he had little faith in Braumer but it would be hard for Korgorn to escape unless someone actively worked to free him… Jakk turned quick and shuffled down the halls he was coming to supervise the fire fighting brigade!

Sericon smiles as she made her way aboard his new comendered vessel, “Great cause we got a battle to join!” Sericon said giving the vessel a bit of gas and causing it to glow brighter green!

Sericon scratched his head, he definitely didn’t want that to happen again, “Don’t worry madam, I’m sure our other guests on the vessel would never do such a thing!” Sericon said giving the two eredar and the wyrmtongue a look that commanded them to find new work on the vessel… The first eredar settled next to Sericon in a copilot seat, “On your command sir…” the second eredar settled behind Izzabelle his back towards her, “Ready to fire!” Finally the last the wyrmtongue moved to the back of the vessel and studied the disks and meters, he would repair any damage he could mid flight!

With everyone situated the ship rocketed off towards the battle mostly aiming towards Yumara and her corrupted guardian! Sericon dove and weaved but at this point the air was strictly Lord Salkeen’s to control, Abdulbai and Nedde hardly had the forced to oppose the army Salkeen had in the air! Sericon knowing if this dropped the vessel low allowing Izzabelle and the eredar to fire upon the troops on the ground that Nedde had brought to this world, with a great dive Sericon brought fire upon those below them, the great vessel creating a wall of fire that the enemy demons crashed against in a frustrated rage! Sericon pulled the vessel into a climb once more before he heard a ungodly explosion! The peak of the volcano detonated again in a burning blast of shadow and fel! Sericon pushed his vessel harder and faster higher into the upper stretches of the atmosphere to avoid such a blast, it seemed the battle between Lord Salkeen and Abdulbai would be safe for no one. Sericon narrowly avoiding a blast that consumed a good many ships, even one of Salkeen’s larger ships erupted into fire and crashed into the great volcano, dove again it was time to help Yumara…

Flying as fast as the legion vessel could allow Sericon took the ship near the left side of the guardian allowing the ship to open fire and strafe the massive thing with burning fel fire! “Open fire! I’ll try to make sure we don’t die!” Sericon called pulling the vessel up to bring it out of reach before diving once more, Sericon dove the vessel right before ghe guardians face before spinning the vessel and ticketing between the titanic creatures legs… A sharp crack could be heard along the back as the guardian tried to bring the vessel down and nearly did so, manage to barely scratch the fast moving vessel! “Damage to rear thruster!” Chirped the wyrmtongue, “rerouting power, she should hold together sir!” The thing chirped again…

Sericon took the vessel high again, so long as he kept the fighter moving fast it would be like a fly to the giant guardian nearly impossible to hit!

The master had been observing the entirety of the battle the whole time from his place in the sky… “How intriguing…” He muttered watching the battle fall apart even more than before Salkeen had summoned a volcano, Yumara battled her corrupted guardian, Abdulbai used his power to cause such death… It was such a shame that he felt more at home with Ebony… Such arrogance and pride prevented Ebony from seeing the true part to success…

The master turned his gaze to watching Varicar, the homunculi had found a new deathknight to try and recruit since they had lost Maleok… Isaik was keenly award that Throggore had helped Maleok escape and when the Orc returned his punishment would be legendary… However Isaik had a bit of mercy still, if Throggore managed to help recruit this new deathknight Isaik would reward him… Isaik already had a dark plan forming, he couldn’t well use the thing Throggore was trying to protect yet, but it’s time would come… Still the master had much to do before time got to far away, while they were all on Centralis the alliance had lost the night elves home, and the alliance had launched a counter attack on Undercity… Isaik saw a interesting future coming up soon upon them a Titan created monster in their attempt to study the old gods… Coming to consume a kingdom of trolls, Isaik nodded he wished to learn more of these creatures and how their creation could benefit him…

Isaik paused watching the battle once more and noticing Suzuna being vaporized by such a blast of shadow fel that she had instantly died… “Unfortunate…” The master hissed, he finally rise from his throne and move to act in that battle in some way… Isaik waved his hand in the air summoning umbral tentacles from the void to do his bidding… With only the slightest command a rift opened near Jericha and Salkeen that spanned near the ground before swallowing up the remains of Suzuna and sealing up once more…

Isaik hissed before conjuring a void rift for himself aboard his own vessel, crossing through with haste, Isaik appeared nearby Skalaz… “Hopefully you have finished with your concoctions for Sericon…” The master hissed, “You will bring this one back… Now…” Isaik commanded, in the next second he vanished in s great cloud of darkness, the mere spot he stood now sat the remains of Suzuna…

Isaik was a busy man, reappearing within the prison hold of Salkeen’s great vessel he made his way over to the cage of great interest to him… “Good evening, Yenme…” Isaik hissed waving his hands and dismissing the inquisitors that were still quite busy torturing Yenme while Lord Salkeen fought his new war… “You might have many questions, but know the most important one… Your sister Nedde has summoned a minion of Ebony to capture Jericha and has caused the unfortunate demise of your youngest sister… Surely this means something to you…” Isaik hissed, listening intently to Yenme’s mind, she need not speak in order for them to communicate… The room proceeded to grow colder and darker in Isaik’s presence… He did not have much time to discuss with Yenme, he could feel Varicar getting closer to this new deathknight…

Korgorn studiously pretended not to pay attention to Jakk’s taunts, throwing in the odd, idle ‘hm’ to rile up the warden. Then, once Jakk stormed off to attend to a fire, Korgorn turned his gaze to Braumer, and asked, surprisingly sincerely, “And the reason you haven’t had him fall to an ‘accident’ yet is…? Honestly, if it were me, he’d be a waterlogged carcass yesterday.” There’s a pause, the impression that he’d just attempted to shrug, and then, “Then again, it could just be because you’re human. Your kind is so insufferably… soft. Either too scared to use your strength, or too scared you’ll be judged for it.” Korgorn made a snorting sound.

His senses were not nearly as dulled as his physical reinforcements were. He could sense it drawing nearer… what ‘it’ was remained yet elusive to him, but he could feel its approach. He sincerely doubted it cared for the magus in front of him. On the off-chance that he was its subject of interest, he decided to lay on the fear.

“Tell me, young mage… how confident are you in your wards? Because should they fail, should your power falter… well… dead men tell no tales… but I want everyone to know, the Shadow of Gul’nazar, Korgorn Soulrender, proved, once more, that the Stockades are not fit to contain any entity of power. No matter how many measures Stormwind might take…” he chuckled darkly, “and I want them to hear it from your lips.”

It was happening again! This creature constantly talking to Braumer trying to get in his head, trying to turn him into a killer! Braumer just had to hold it together not say anything! That bastard of a creature only ever used whatever they said against them… Braumer however was easily seen to be incredibly nervous, his anxiety was seen in his increasingly sloppy casting…

Braumer tried his best to avoid eye contact with the deathknight, but it just looked much like a dog avoiding eye contact with food it was told it couldn’t have… There was no way he could do what the deathknight was suggesting, he would be locked in here called a mad mage his family disgraced!!

Braumer hated this part of the job, spending hours in the same room with the deathknight that constantly tried to cause him to go insane! Braumer just had to breathe and focus on the wards, the deathknight was just trying to get under his skin… Korgorn was safely locked up and he would never break free… Probably…

Braumer looked away, “Yep… Hmmm… Yeah… I trust the wards…” Braumer said, you could however tell he was trying to convince himself as much as he was trying to lie to Korgorn…

Yenme knew nothing but pain and torment before this new creature came into her cell. This one however made her feel small and helpless. She felt like a weak newborn kitten in his presence. She was terrified she felt like her brain was paralyze. Then he spoke within her brain, she didn’t need to reply her brain was like as open book.

She was walking through a series of halls smiling. She stopped every now and then for some light conversation. Turning a corner she Sees Nedde, Talking tomthe one who has claimed the Void seat on the Council. The one that had held the seat since Jericha had left had mysteriously died. This new being being gave her the creeps. Nedde looks up from her conversation and waves at Yenme. Then that creature turn its head towards her, and Yenme feels physically ill. She instead turns and starts heading down another hallway. Felling the ovewhelming need to avoid the two of them. She is halfway down the new hall when The would of rapidly falling footsteps approaches her from behind. She spins around to see Nedde rushing towards her, a frantic look on her face. “Oh Yenme it’s horrible, a Demon Lord Known for his emense cruelty has taken Suzuna.” Nedde throws her arms around Yenme in a fierce embrace. As she does Yenme feels an electric shock travel
Throughout her body and mind. “It is beyond bad Yenme, this Demon Lord has our poor innocent little sister trapped within his thrall. He is known for his cruelty in the way he breaks innocent young demons like our Suzuna.” Yenme’s head feels like it’s going numb, as Nedde starts speaking. Yet the more Nedde speaks the more agitated Yenme becomes. “I’m afraid that Suzuna will be made into the same thing our mother was… howcwas it put to us… one doesn’t require arms, legs or even a face, when all you’re good for, is popping out demons to fill an army.” Yenme so red and pulled away and ran towards the room of portals. Yenme Doesn’t notice however Isaik would. while Nedde has been holding her, she had been casting spells on her. Ones that would magnify greatly the effects of her emotions. Along with a spell that would allow Nedde to see through Yenme’s eyes. As Yenme rushes to leave Abdulbai is watching, a twisted look on what could be seen of his face.

Yenme rushes into the Portal room. “Quick
Open a portal
To where Suzuna went she is in desperate trouble. The Eredar mages wastes no time in opening a portal. Arriving on Centralis she sees Her sister groveling at the feet of what could only be the Demon Lord That had enthralled her. Standing beside the two of them was Jericha. She stated for a moment to make sure she was seeing things right. Yes that was indeed Jericha. It is plain as the nose on a face. Nedde hadn’t sent Yenme to save Suzuna. She had sent her to see if Jericha was there. Yenme had been duped.

Isaik watched as the events before the battle played within Yenme’s mind, it was easily seen by him that the middle sister was being manipulated by the oldest straight into attacking Salkeen… Isaik paused for a moment, he could see why Yenme would think Salkeen was a cruel demon lord, he very much was a cruel demon lord… Isaik however knew that in the same instance the demon lord kept a healthy portion of his elvish self of superiority that kept him from ever creating armies via the actions that Yenme feared… Salkeen felt he could make genetically superior armies others ways that didn’t involve such savagery, Salkeen was a demon meaning he was cruel but he was still refined, he held the same standards for his minions…

Isaik knew that Yenme would hardly know such things so just as she showed him her past he showed her some things she would not know… On a planet much farther from Centralis, somewhere between Mardum and Azeroth was a planet just as dead and barren red as the hellfire peninsula. but on this planet we’re hundreds of spires that shined with the amount of fel energy coursing through the planet… Among each spire a great legion ship stood ready to reinforce its lord at any moment, while other ships were quickly being repaired on the surface below… A great canyon covered the northern hemisphere inside the great canyon great legion shipyards produced new vessels at a surprising speed… Beyond the great shipyards were fortifications of metal that rose into the sky rivaling the defenses of ice crown citadel… Isaik focused the vision he was showing to Yenme, in one of the small citadels was a palace with the entire purpose of pleasure, filled to the brim with succubi and shivarra, the eager demons starved of such delicacies were forever waiting for demons of incredible power and abilities, it was here that Salkeen rewarded demons who acccomplished great feats of strength… Isaik pulled the image away turning to a different citadel, it was lower to the ground much more spiked and covered with tubes that led deep into the structure… Inside this grand structure Mo’arg with mechanical limbs hovered over trillions of cloning tubes filled with eredar, felguard and doomguard… Salkeen’s army was created from the greatest of specimens cloned and made genetically stronger, he was never worried of running out of demons ready to fight for him… Isaik finally ended the images of Salkeen’s world, he mustn’t reveal to much…

Isaik sent the images of Nedde battling her sister showing no remorse and showing Nedde’s true intentions… “Salkeen is busy fighting off the creature you helped bring to this world… The creature that has attacked your sister and Jericha… Salkeen’s rage will not be kind towards anyone who helped cause this mess…” Isaik continued showing her Abdulbai assaulting her sister…

Isaik would not shy from showing Yenme everything she had been missing trapped in this prison, the betrayal that led her to this tortured existence… “Do you not wish for freedom?” Isaik asked coldly, “You must make your choice quickly I have other pressing matters to attend to…” Isaik hissed, he was sure the inquisitors were eager to get back to their task…

Yenme watches at first as a voice in her mind tries to tell her it a lie. It all a lie Yenme, worlds like that don’t actually exist. You know how demons are created, your poor mother is proof of that. Yenme brain feels like it’s twitching within her head, something doesn’t belong. She had been watching the battle taking place on Centralis since Serron had returned. She wasn’t the only one however, Suzuna had been watching as well. When she suddenly grabs Nedde as she walks into the room. It’s him Nedde, it’s really him, Suzuna says absentmindedly as she swiftly leaves the room. Yenme watches Suzuna leaves then turns to Nedde. She just barely misses seeing the hate in her oldest sisters eyes as Nedde watches Suzuna leave. It’s him it hits Yenme like a meteor, Suzuna had been talking about Lord Salkeen, she had formed a bond to him, just by seeing him. She had been used, Nedde had freaking used her. She had manipulated her, but why, what did she hope to gain.

Yenme felt sick, she would never willing help bring that horrific creature anywhere. She not only despised him, but felt physically ill whenever she was in its presence. Something about him made her skin crawl. Suzuna also hated him with a passion unlike anything Yenme had ever seen. Yenme watches as Nedde speaks the word to kill Their youngest sister. Her eyes held no regret as she watches Suzuna dying. However Suzuna while being very young and naive, is probably one of the most powerful demons on that world of theirs. Susuna’s mind was to powerful to fall beneath the thrall of a Demon Lord, how could she have forgotten that. When Yenme hears what Abdulbai says to Suzuna she would have puked if she had anything left in her stomach. With those words came horrible images. She hadn’t meant to cause a mess, she had only wanted to save her sister. Save a sister who didn’t need saving.

Yenme watches as her family is destroyed. Betrayed by one to help facilitate the destruction of the other. No it wasn’t Suzuna that Nedde, and Abdulbai were after, it was Jericha. Suzuna was just a nuisance easily taken care of in the midst of battle. After all in demonic battles demons are bound to die. Yes she wanted her freedom, freedom from the tortured existence she had been living for what seems like days although it hadn’t been more than an hour or so.

“Oh my dear it’s quite real… I am a creature that would not care one way or the other how my minions are made but I too found superior ways to create exceedingly powerful minions…” Isaik was of course referring to the homunculi, they seemed like the perfect beings to him, created from scratch to be loyal beyond question and feel any other emotion implanted upon them… Homunculi could not be detected by demon hunters as demons could be, they were the ultimate creations… Isaik did take note of the peculiar voice among Yenme’s thoughts, he would need to keep a extra eye on it Incase it truly wants Yenme’s own…

“Nedde is as much a pawn as Suzuna was… Upu know exactly why she is here now, why she and Abdulbai are targeting Jericha… The only being foolish enough to draw my ire in exchange for his own foolish goals…” Isaik hissed sending her the images of the being, Ebony, the man always behind the curtain…

Isaik saw her thoughts, here Suzuna was on a world with a demon lord that should have had no control yet he did… Was it because of Nedde or did Suzuna truly wish to follow Lord Salkeen… Isaik turned his gaze further upon Yenme, “Yet this mess is now upon thus world, what do you intend to do about it?” Isaik whispered into her mind, all the deaths on either side were her fault, if she hadn’t fallen for the trick so many would still be alive…

Isaik grinned wickedly, now was his favorite part, and the part that was truly his nature… Within Isaik’s hands a contract formed into existence, the terms of which would be simple… “Merely a precaution at first… My dear…” Isaik hissed, the terms of the contract fizzled to life illuminating for Yenme to see…

The signer of this contract submits their freedom from chains for the willingness to receive commands and take vengeance against those who have wronged the signer and the signers commander.

The signer willingly submits to join apart of something more then themselves, willingly being assigned to the commander that best fits what they are…

The signer submits that acts of treason or acts made with treasonous intent may be met with punishments ranging up to fates worse than death

Isaik held the contract closer to Yenme, snapping his fingers her right arm and hand were completely free of any bounds and healed of any injuries sustained under her torture… “Your freedom awaits, it only takes signing the contract…” Isaik hissed…

No, it wasn’t my fault, I refuse to believe that trying to save Suzuna from what I thought was a horrible fate. Makes me responsible for the repercussions that followed. It wasn’t her fault, her mind had been manipulated into believing that Suzuna was being held prisoner by a cruel and ruthless Demon Lord. Her mind broken to the point where she believed that this Demon Lord was her Master. Then when she arrives she see’s her once proud sister groveling at the Demon Lords feet. The front half of her body covered in bloody cuts and scrapes. Like she had been forced to crawl on her belly over razor sharp shards of metal, and broken glass. What was she suppose to think, it seemed in her mind that what Nedde had said was true. Then when she tried to save Suzuna, Suzuna had attacked her, calling Salkeen her Lord. That further made it seem like Nedde was telling the truth. Then they are taken and put into this prison, the first thing the Demon Lord does is attack her and cause her pain. The first thing Yenme felt was Salkeen’s cruelty. Everything Nedde had said up until this creature had entered her prison, were so easily believable. They didn’t need to alter her mind, They through words, changed how she would perceive things. She had been used but still she was having trouble excepting that trying to save Suzuna had led to all of this. *her mind is filled with thousands of voices screaming and screeching, NO, NO, NO! I thought I was saving my sister, I thought Nedde was trying to save us. I’m not to blame for this, I am not to blame for this… she repeats it as if trying to reaffirm in her own mind that this mess, is indeed not her fault. (A whisper in her mind says of course it’s not your fault, if it is anyone’s fault, is Suzuna’s. Had she not come here none of this would have happened.)

No It wasn’t Suzuna’s fault either, it was the fault of that twisted beast that had somehow corrupted the mind of her oldest sister. *what was she going to do, she wasn’t quite sure what she could do, while she was powerful, she was nowhere near as powerful as her siblings. Yenme wasn’t sure how she would possibly make a difference. Yet she wanted to try, she wanted to pay Nedde, and Abdulbai, back for what they had done.

She stares at the contract before her, it wasn’t freedom this being offered. It offered a different set of chains, she would still be without any true form of freedom. Yenme looks at the terms of the contract. She doesn’t like the second part, she doesn’t want to be assigned to Lord Salkeen. He had proven that while he might not be as Nedde would have her believe. He was indeed heartless and cruel. He enjoyed causing others pain, and she feared that whenever his anger got out of control, she would be his punching bag. I don’t want to be put under Salkeen’s control. I will sign your contract if I don’t have to ever be put under that Femon Lords control. Yenme was all set to sign her very soul away, yet she waited to see what this horrific dark entity would do next.

Yumara quickly heals the damage she had taken as she reverts back into her feline form. What most don’t realize is that this Avatar of hers is more than just that. It is like a living ecosystem that actually houses hundreds of thousands of different beasts, and creatures. Thousands of species of different flora and fauna. It was all being corrupted and destroyed, the pain was damn near unbearable. She needed to reach the heart tree and heal it so she could try and purify the void taint. She is looking around for a good place in which to enter, when a large knot forms on some of the gnarled tree bark close to her. Before Yumara can move her entire body is swarming with large biting ants. Ranging from the size of a mouse to the size of a rat. Yumara growls as she feels hundreds of stinging bites all over her body. The temp around Yumara suddenly drops to below freezing. Every ant on her drops to the ground frozen and shatter upon striking it. It is at this moment that she spots her way in. She is about to make a leap for the entrance when a massive explosion knocks her flat. Yumara spins to see what has happened.

Yumara sighed, this wasn’t good, this wasn’t good at all. Telling Salkeen that Jericha was in danger would be pointless, the twos past guaranteed that he would listen to nothing that she had to say, instead she had her Heart tree communicate with the tome phylactery that it now housed. It couldn’t speak in words just images. *Jericha’s body is being constantly destroyed by the void that is flowing through her. To stop the never ending destruction an amulet is created that acts like a damn. It is given to Jericha, so that she can control the amount of void that flows through her. The scene changes to Ebony, Jericha and Izzabelle fighting. During this fight Ebony takes possession of the Necklace and uses it to shut down Jericha’s ability to use the Void. The next vision has Ebony using it, as a way to Torture Jericha for hundreds of years. The next showed Cracks that leaked void forming all over Jericha’s flesh. Before it explodes leaving a massive void rift in its place. There was too much void, Jericha’s mind would be overwhelmed, the fel within her would be crushed beneath the sheer weight of it. Yumara knew that what she was going to ask would anger both Lord Salkeen and Jericha. But until Orion returned and repaired the amulet, the safest p,ace for Jericha to be, was on Masters Vessel. If given permission Master could control the amount of void that continuously flows into, and through Jericha. For now Jericha was okay but it wouldn’t last long. Yumara sends out a call for Orion to return as soon as possible. Then wasting no more time she swiftly traverses the Avatars foot and enters into the twisted catacomb like jungle within. First thing she feels is three acid tipped arrows sink into her side. The long rope like tentacles that line both sides of Yumara’s bestial form rips void tainted fey beings from the thorny moss covered walls. Crushing them the sucker like mouths on the ends slowly start to devour them.

Skalaz had just created a concoction of demon blood that had been purified and concentrated down into a pure mixture of instantaneous rage and strength… It still needed more refinement, this mixture was slightly addictive, not quite as addictive as demons blood itself, but addictive none the less… Skalaz was however quite sure that Sericon the warlock turned Warrior could handle the mixture without to much detriment…

Skalaz turned to look at the master, the master would know his will would be done, before the skeletal creature vanished in clouds of darkness… Skalaz looked upon the mess of organs and gelatinous goo that was left, supposedly the remains of a demon of importance… Skalaz had seen homunculi creation disasters more life like then this… Still if any creature could bring this demon back from the dead, it was Skalaz… The goblin moved over to the pile of goo before extending his hands and using a combination of alchemy and arcane examined the chemical and elemental make up of the substance before him… Skalaz tilted his head, most of the necessary ingredients were still within the remains save for some carbon and and water no doubt burned away and evaporated from the body… Skalaz turned wandering across his room and searching for the necessary items he would use as additional ingredients… Grabbing a large diamond and a great bowl of water the goblin returned placing the pieces near the remains of Suzuna… Now what was left was to make the proper casting circle, pressing his hands into the floor the area flashed white as the goblin etched lines for the alchemic and arcane transmutation…

Cracking his fingers then his back Skalaz muttered, “Hope your soul hasn’t gone to far, your body will be waiting…” Skalaz theorized she was probably nearby still as Argus had fallen their was no force to drag her soul away… Skalaz took a position before finally activating the spell circles and the magic he commanded! The room flowed with light as arcane energy and alchemic power were fed instructions of what to build before with a flash of power the reaction began! From the remains a spine started to form along with the rest of the skeketal structure, as if a new born life was being grown right in front of the goblin! The remains withered away as the carbon and muscle structures were remade on the new eredar skeleton… Nerve structures were formed along with organ systems that readied themselves for their first beat of life… Finally the flesh was remade covering the entire newly made body in irovy eredar skin… With a last surge of power the heart was forced to beat and pump the newly created blood in Suzuna’s body, before the magic carefully deposited the newly remade body onto the ground… Skalaz nodded satisfied, he had added addition carbon to make her body more durable, it should be able to take more of a hit next time…

“Time to wake up!” Skalaz barked at the still body of Suzuna, he knew that at times the recreation didn’t take… However Skalaz had been commanded by the Master, he would hardly be allowed for such failure… The goblin walked away, sometimes the magic took a few seconds as the goblin began to work on his concoctions once more… The goblin glanced at one of his cages, he wondered if he should continue working on his monster…

The thing Skalaz was referring to was a alchemic chimera like no other, created from numerous alpha predators this new creature would need to be infused with humanoid life to give it the necessary intellect to become the true terror it would be designed to do… A true alpha creation that would become the ultimate weapon, it would make the dangers of a dragon or kraken attack look like a mild wolf infestation… The thought pleased Skalaz…

Did she truly believe that pinning it down made a difference. Opening a small section of its massive form it send out thousands of ants to devour the irrelevant pest. Yet it seemed not to do as much damage as it had hoped. It’s about to try something else when an explosion blows a third of its entire body into dirt, rock chips and kindling. The thing is momentarily stunned, which allows the beast to gain entry. That is okay, those that dwelled within would see to it that she would never leave.

It shrieks in rage as the demonic vessel flies in circles around it weaving in and out. It almost brings it down once or twice, but the pilot maneuvering the ship is to cunning and fast. The Avatar stops trying to swat at the annoying gnat of a ship. No it was going about trying to bring it down all wrong. A loud droning buzz can be heard coming from the Avatar. It grow louder and louder until it seems that the very earth is Vibrating. Then the thing opens its gargantuan maw and releases a swarm void mutated wasps that are anywhere from the size of an Imp to that of a Terror Fiend thousands of these creatures fill the skies like a Black Plague. Hundreds fly down to attack the Ship Sericon is piloting. Over half of th3m are shot out of the sky by the vessels guns. Wings, heads, legs, etc blasted off as they fall to the ground. Even more become engaged battling other demons. The ones that break through land on the vessel and start trying to rip it apart. They try driving their massive stingers into the hull of the vessel. Without warning half of them are blasted off of the ship by a powerful concussive force of air. Lhashira catches her blades and prepares to send another blast of wind.

The Master was tempted to insert his own words once more into Yenme’s mind further pushing her one way or the other, however he felt that her psychological torment as quite enjoyable to watch and feel…

There was that malicious thought amongst so many others of her thoughts that had instead been plainly frantic or self justification… Isaik hissed slightly he was starting to be sure that Yenme’s mind was not so much a place between him and her, but likely that elf once more was trying to intervene…

Still Yenme proved to be a competent creature that had some ability to resist the manipulations of the mind… In that same instance she played right towards his end goal, the need to enact revenge would make the eredar wish to accept bondage over imprisonment… When Isaik finally presented the magical contract he watched as Yenme’s eyes told the same story he had seen again and again… A internal reluctance to trade one set of chains for another, the recognition that even when trading chains one was quite more appealing… A internal affirmation that this way though just as unknown and possibly painful was still better than the torture they had endured before…

Isaik tilted his head, now that was indeed unexpected… Though her sister head long decided to follow the demon lord Salkeen, Yenme outright refused such a thing… “Are you so sure?” Isaik hissed at a incredibly low tone like a predatory animal ready to strike… “Not Lord Salkeen? Not like your sister?” Isaik hissed almost like he was taunting her… “Lord Salkeen could make you more powerful, stronger, greater…” Isaik continued briefly showing images of Salkeen’s conquest over the flesh Titan… “If this is what you truly want…” Hissed Isaik, the contract in his hands changed the second term, on the end were the words excluding the Phoenix of the Legion…

Isaik offered the contract once more, “Now you will sign…” The dark creature hissed staring directly into her eyes with his own sickening dead features… “You will know who you are assigned to when you sign, you will feel it in your very soul…” The creature hissed…

Isaik internally paused watching the new scenes play before him, Yumara had discovered that the tome was a means to contact the master when needed… However this was a trait only held by the master tome, The Genesis tome, the magic codex she now held…

Isaik studied the image, the void witch was so much more than she seemed… A literal living gateway made in a attempt to summon void lords… Her death would send Salkeen into a furious rage unlike something ever seen…

Isaik watched more seeing what Yumara was truly asking, yet the task was more complicated then even that… Just as Salkeen outright despised Yumara, Jericha did not hold positive feelings for the thing that Isaik was…

Yenme watches Salkeen’s conquest of The Flesh Titan. How he Brought the forces of Plague Demon Lord Reavrix crashing to the ground. She could see now that Suzuna would never willingly leave Lord Salkeen. She truly did wish to be with her Sister, up until the Arrival of that wretched Abdulbai, the three of them had alway been together. Then Nedde had slowly started breaking away and spending more time with that creep. She would become so angry and defensive when either her or Suzuna would try and tell her that he felt wrong and couldn’t be trusted.

Now here she was about to sign her freedom away, You don’t want to do that, that one cannot be trusted, sign it and you will never know freedom even in death. Suddenly Yenme’s mind snaps from everything that has recently happened. (Freedom, HA!.. There is no freedom for me now. All that remains for me are different forms of shackles. Either be owned and under the control of one exceptionally heartless and evil being. Being chained up, physically, and mentally tortured for the rest of time by a twisted cruel raging Demon Lord. Or what join you, don’t make me laugh. Becoming a tormented spirit forever tied to your twisted tower, is the last option I would choose. Now get out of my head! Yenme scream at the voice in her mind as hundreds of daggers seem to form out of her sheer desperation and strike out at it. There’s a hiss of pain followed by a sigh of disappointment. Like that foolish rogue, in the end you will all be mine. then there’s silence and for the first time since before running into Nedde she feels like the fog has been lifted from her mind… but still.

I am certain that I do not want to belong to or be anywhere in the vicinity of Lord Salkeen. I fear him to the point, it could lead me to make irrational mistakes would could lead to disasters. I would rather not be subjected to more of his hate and cruelty because of that. If there was one thing that Yenme had in common with Jericha it would be the ability to latch onto one aspect of a being and refuse to see anything else.

She reaches out to sign the Contract, but before she can sign it her hand and arm burst into flames. In her mind Yenme shrieks in indescribable agony, as her soul feels like it’s being shredded and burnt. Yenme pulls her hand back, looking both horrified and betrayed at what just happened. Her soul was still being wrecked with wave after wave of pain. It lasts for less than a few moments. When a voice fills the cell. The Being known as Yenme that you are trying to Contract, is already Contracted to the Society. This Contract is still legal and binding. Until both Sides of this Contract desire to anull it. It will remain and no new contracts may be signed. it was almost like a recorded message. Reaching again Yenme tried once more to sign, again she fails. However this time the pain lasts until her brain shuts down.

Izzabelle turns and looks at nods at thecEtedar as it settles in the seat, it’s bac to hers. “Let’s cut down these ignorant fools, and show them their stupidity in believing they even had a chance at winning. Izzabelle then wraps her hands around the firing mechanism. Her thumbs primed to let loose a bombardment of fel on those brainless enough to get to be on the wrong side of this massacre.

As Sericon brings them close to the ground, Izzabelle, and the Eredar, open fire on Nedde’s and Abdulbai’s pathetic army. Fel fire rains from the sky, like death from above. Exploding on contact the fel flames shred flesh, bones, and muscles, from dozens of demons. It isn’t just Demons that Izzabelle targets she targets void monstrosities as well. As they are pulling up she hears it an ungodly explosion of massive proportions. Izzabelle can actually feel the shockwaves going through the vessels.

“I vote that we stay away from Jericha, Salkeen and whoever they are fighting.” Izzabelle says as she primes the guns and wonders if she needs to change her shorts. “I believe that our survival becomes much greater the further we are away from them.” Turning Izzabelle sees where Sericon is headed and she laughs. This was going to be fun, out of the frying pan and into the fire. Izzabelle wastes no time razing a line of fel fire up along a portion of the massive primal like beast. They seem to be doing great striking it here and there, when it gets in a lucky strike, hitting the rear of the vessel. The Wyrmtongue wastes no time rerouting the power to different part of the ships. Izzabelle smiles at Sericon, “come now legions greatest pilot, surely you can avoid its desperate attacks.”

“Damn!” Izzabelle opens up fire on the horrid void mutated wasps, Fel fire rips many of them to pieces and they fall from the sky, their flaming carcasses battering both armies as they fall to the earth. She ship shakes as dozens of them strike. Izzabelle screams in pain and pulls her foot up. There’s a large hole that pierces both her foot and the boot she is wearing. Where her once foot was, there’s now a massive stinger, which had punctured through the ships hull and her foot. She can feel the poison eating away at the flesh, bones, and muscles in her foot. She forces the poison out of the Would then activates her crimson vial. Turning she looks out and sees most of the Corrupt insects get blown off the ship. This fight was turning out to be much more of a nuisance than she ever thought possible.
