Everything uses more mats and uses rarer mats and things like enchanting mats now have qualities.
There definitely will be, but who will the unlucky classes be that have to shell out all that gold just to be on par with everyone else.

No. The prices respond to the supply and demand rules as anything else.
Blizzard limiting the drop rate of materials, adding ranks to materials, and throttling the growth in professions is what lead to ridiculous prices.
Well, that would explain it. Seems like. . . A very Blizzard thing to do.
A whole bunch of people wanting things, with proportionately fewer people willing to make them, is what led to high prices.
Though Iāll certainly agree that Blizzardās stated ābetter mats will be much rarer, this timeā approach is dumb.
the chants are too dam high!
Thatās a fair pointā¦but where IS the line drawn? With every change of season and every patch release, a new set of gear or a better way of getting it is released. Itās a constant effort throughout every expansionā¦so in reality the gear grind NEVER ends. Wherein all of that do we decide āthis piece of gear deserves the best enchantā?
Yeah, I know thereās a logical process behind the decision. A policy of putting the best enhancements on champion gear or better, for instance. I guess Iām saying, if they can afford it, let them waste their gold.
Good enchants are most important when you are progressing and least important when you have the content on farm, but during progression is also the time youāre replacing gear the fastest. So itās kind of a lose/lose situation.
Why do you think there are proportionately less people wanting to make things in the first place?
Because most people who play WoW are lazy and stupid.
Well, that was certainly a lazy and stupid response, I see.
No, itās this thing called āresponse effort.ā Blizzard made annoying systems and now less people want to engage in them.
Thatās a given, thereās much better games.
Shame on us, really.
Yup, this is even after they made them cheaper by buffing the craft from making 1 whet/weightstone to making 4. One small problem: they ignored literally every other issue with it. One of them uses the wrong profession node, they dont use ironclaw at all (which is cheaper than both bismuth and null stones), they inexcusably use a null stone, they even for some reason only buffed it to four instead of five when both historically and with oils it should be five.
The āintended for meleeā option shouldnt be 4-5 times the cost of the bis caster options, especially when many melee have to buy 2, and the problem is the null stone. Sure, null stones will lower in price as the expansion goes on. So will almost everything. The whetstones will always be significantly more expensive than oils if they dont change something.

you donāt really have to have the best of everything to do the content you want . i think i spent ~60k to full enchant with tier 2 enchants
Ooh, I just remembered another gem of a recipe even worse than Nullstone-gobbling Whetstones!
Thereās a JC recipe that multiplies your Amber gems (the uncommon ones that are only good for skilling up from 20 to 40). All it takes is 3 Amber and an Inverted Prism, and you get like 8 Amber and some dust or something! Wow, you can magically multiply the worst gem by making a Prism out of all the rare quality gems and also a full Nullstone. Thatās only like 1o0k in mats, amazing!
I really want to know what the intern who determined recipe composition/quantities was smoking, 'cuz I want some.
Amber is used to make vials.
Thank you for the context. Guess itās time to oil up.
Game has so much pointless crap in it now. You get on forums and people will invalidate anything you donāt want to put up with. Its like why does it exist if itās so invalid then??? Why is it even there?
Aināt that the truth- I got a toolbox item to use in āAwakening the Machineā but that event is a total joke.
Why would I need an item that helps me where I need none?
Waste of inventory.
havenāt bothered with those over priced stuff since tww launched. and if the price doesnt go down i doubt most people will either.
also lets be real it was always a ploy to get people to buy gold from blizz to be able to afford that stuff.
gold cap players dont care obviously about price but average players are definately poorer then dirt in terms of gold
With crafting gear, putting 6 sockets on my jewelry, consumables and enchants Iām down close to 2 million. Even health pots are expensive, I just hope I donāt win anymore gear at this point.
