The very last thing I need for “Back From the Beyond” meta achievement is to down the Jailer.

I have been extending my mythic raid lock (where he is the only one undefeated) and finally have time to work on it.

If I could stop making silly mistakes, this would go a lot better, lol.

But I will persevere to the end and come out triumphant – one way or another!!

Rolls up sleeves – Your soul is mine, Zovaal!!

Lol, I just needed to get my mind set on it!

Thanks, Ayukama!

I called out sick tonight because my back is bothering me. Not sure what I did to aggravate it, but it’s uncomfortable enough that I didn’t get any sleep today, and I imagine eight hours on my feet wasn’t going to do anything to make it feel better. I decided to use our payroll app to request time off to cover the missed hours, only to discover that there are ‘restricted’ days that I can’t request off. The only day in the current pay period I could use to burn the 8 hours of PTO was next Tuesday (one of the two days I’m regularly scheduled off).

Hope that it eases off for you soon. Sounds like a good night for a heating pad on the couch, some beverages of choice, snacks, and binge-watching your favorite shows.

I do have one or two episodes of the new Dexter to catch up on, and I haven’t yet started the second season of the Mayfair Witches… Heating pad, TENS device and a bowl of popcorn (possibly even an adult beverage or two) sound like exactly what I need tonight.

I still need to watch season 1. I assume if you are going for season 2 that you think it’s good. Did you read the books?

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I don’t think I ever read the books, though, but I really got into the Vampire Chronicles. I’ve really enjoyed the first two seasons of Interview With a Vampire (SO much better than the movies), and am really looking forward to season 3.

Unfortunately, the movies were limited in scope and content by the times and risk. I only saw the first episode of Interview so far, but I had zero complaints and it’s on my list as soon as I can get to it.

I think the term ur looking for is old person injury lol.

Aww, I have never done the Seasons in Diablo 4 … but this Raven pet sure makes it tempting to try.

If you read the books - I’d advise not expecting as much as was done for Interview. I loved The Witching Hour novel, the last two of the original book series not as much, but the show is odd to me in comparison? The show at face value isn’t terrible, but it’s not anywhere near as good an adaption as they did with Interview.

And I say that as someone who was kind of cringing with the creative decisions they made to Interview ahead of actually watching it. But while they did great justice to the Vampire Chronicles so far (and man oh man am I waiting for that next few chapters), the Mayfair Witches is something else entirely. I’m just holding off until the season has fully aired, then I’ll try to make a go of sitting down and watching it, though I did watch the first season as it was actively airing each week.

It’s cute.

The deal-breaker is that it’s a Diablo IV pet, not a WoW pet.

So… a “little” drama here today. Mom’s doing a quilting retreat today and tomorrow; she goes out to the location, spends a day sewing, chatting with friends, eating, chatting, etc., and comes home for the night. Well, on the way home, someone didn’t see her driving down the street, and pulled out from their stop sign and hit her. She’s fine (though she did go into the hospital to verify that), but the car is a little worse for wear. I’m pretty sure it’s fixable, since neither car was moving very fast, and the airbags didn’t deploy. But we’ll see about that in the next few days. And we’ll see if she has any soreness tomorrow, but if there is, the doctor said Tylenol should handle it.

I wish to say THANKS to whomever decided to (hopefully) send some snow our way next week.

But if this doesn’t pan out, perhaps I should just go get the snow off the curb in Louisville, KY.

Yeah, we’re supposed to get super-cold next week. Can’t wait.

My sorcerer is a season character. I find the seasons quite enjoyable truthfully, mostly due to the rewards. Feels like there is a little bit of a goal to work towards. Only thing that sucks is that the character can only be used for the season before they join with the eternal characters.
