Itā€™s dark here. Itā€™s also well past my bedtime (I go to work at 5 am) and Iā€™m not sure if Iā€™m going to be able to sleep thanks to all the illegal fireworks. I guess Iā€™m going to count it a win if they donā€™t set anything on fire.

It is currently 84F but also over 70% humidity. That is like swimming when going outside. Very steamy gross swimming.

I canā€™t paint in this weather so that limits me on outside projects. Blah. I have been so sore and beat up that I had to take a break the past two days to recover. I have never had my house looking so good since I bought it though. Super proud of myself.

Maybe I can do some more power washing today seeing as everything is already super gross and wet!

Had a hum-dinger of a storm roll through a bit ago. A bit of hail, some wind, and lots of rain. It was actually tornado warned just to the west of us, but it ā€œweakenedā€ (and I use that term very loosely) before it got to us. Which is good, because it definitely hit here head on.

I do feel for all the happy campers in the campground just down the hill from us - it couldnā€™t have been all that fun for them.

And now, itā€™s clear as can be.

I spotted a house centipede earlier today. I know theyā€™re usually beneficial and donā€™t want to eat us hoomons, but I just donā€™t do centipedes. So I collected it and went to set it free out front. Before I could even turn around a lizard skittered by me and ate it! I didnā€™t want to smoosh it so I tried to be nice to it only to cause it to become dinner.

:frowning:

@Vrakthris: Just a heads up - by this thread having a ā€œsolvedā€ tag, it pegs everyone responding to it (ever) with the ā€œthis thread is solvedā€ message every time you start to type a post. And if you donā€™t stop typing fast enough you can acidentally hit one of the Discourse keyboard shortcuts and cause yourself an oopsie.

I assume Darth set that one, Vrak isnā€™t really into quoting himself like that.

No, but heā€™d have the easiest time nuking the flag next to Darth. Itā€™s a good reminder though as for lounge threads the ā€œsolvedā€ tag makes it a bit of an annoyance to type up a post, especially since the resulting popup message obscures the live preview pane as you type.

Try now i removed the solved flag sorry i dont get to make lounges often was trying to prevent getting notification every time someone replued i solved that issue and now the solved one.

Hmm. Thanks Darth!

If you hit the dropdown below the buttons after the most recent post, you should be able to control notifications there.

Muting (or Normal?) should do what you want.

The tracking/normal options should do the trick here. Muting prevents all notifications, which they may not want to happen. Watching will get you spammed like crazy though, so itā€™s rarely used by most posters. Default is tracking if you posted a reply to a topic. Otherwise the default is normal.

Edit: It should be noted that tracking only shows the number of replies since your last one on the thread listing page, not your personal notifications.
