Your Friday is my Monday. And boy it was…
It’s a shame I gave up adult beverages.
Your Friday is my Monday. And boy it was…
It’s a shame I gave up adult beverages.
It’s my Monday and it’s hot outside.
Oh em gee. You ain’t lying, brother. I’m home now with the AC going and the fan only me. I came out of work and my glasses fogged up.
And I’m in California too. Where it’s sunny not too humid and we aren’t being teased by a hurricane.
I told everyone i was sending that thing North. Y’all didn’t listen. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my days off. i don’t have time for no hurricanes on my days off.
Looks like Fall came here a bit early. It was 49 when I got up. We will barely hit 70 all week. We will get more warm days next week but the trend is going down. The sun is at that weird angle that glares in your eyes when you drive. Cider mills are cranking out cider, donuts, and crazy bees. My favorite season but it is always too short.
The early September temperatures were being forecast as in the lower 70’s here. Now it’s almost all 80’s. And I was looking forward to the cooler temperatures.
I’m trying to do Neltharion’s Lair on a 120 and the rubble is blocking the entrance. Someone come and tell it to move.
Edit: Never mind. I forgot the real entrance is somewhwere else. It’s one of those days.
It’s 4pm here and 95F with a heat index of 105F
/hugs AC
it’s around 72 here, though it feels much warmer than that.
we’re also expected to get Dorian this Sat too, so that’s something to look forward to. .-.
Yeah, that little bit of a reprieve we had from Dorian passing by has long gone now.
Yum, cider. I am soooo over this summer heat. I want my cooler Fall temps so that I can mull some cider and cook stews and chili again.

Don’t mind me, I overdid it this morning and am now aching all over.
That was me cleaning out the gutters a couple of weeks back. Note to self: when going up and down a ladder repeatedly, use both legs to climb, not just your right leg and then bring your left leg up to level. That hurt the next day.
Too soon to clean the gutters, the leaves will be falling. Some are just starting to turn.
Alas, they hadn’t been cleaned out in cough4+cough years, so it was time and past time. And I’d just read an article about how bad clogged gutters are for slab foundations which got me in a panic. >_>
makes you feel any better miss kyz, i’m just getting over a sinus infection. still feeling a bit weary, but hopefully a day (or two) of rest will help get me back on track.
on a side note, i’m starting to remember having trouble with quests from back in the early days of Wrath…certain enemies i remember being hostile (though with the launch of 4.0.3, said enemies were either changed to docile or removed entirely), i vagely remember some class quests that were brutal to complete.
i’m also realizing how important it is to save every copper you come across. ._.
Mine are only 1 year old cause the old ones kinda fell off. They were 30 years old and saggy. We went a year without when we got the house painted but wow did everything ice up. Icey sidewalks and porches are no fun.
Hope that you feel better soon.
i can attest to this…considering i fell on an icy sidewalk back in Mar and broke my wrist. x_x
they’ve got me on antibiotics, and so far it seems to be working knocks on wood my main problem, is i’m typically finding reasons to venture outside…so i need to force myself to stay inside…Classic WoW may just be the “reason” to stay indoors…that and there’s “people” out there. >.>
Found out today that today is the last day of my sons summer job.
They keeping him on payroll as a prn case, but enrollment typically drops during the school year and they have already seen it.
They already offered him another job next summer though. And we are happy about that.
I made my chicken taco salad for supper. I hadn’t made it in years and it sounded good. Slow cooked chicken that I shred and simmer in taco seasoning. When the sauce is thick, I add in sour cream and let it simmer some more. It’s even better the next day after sitting in the sauce overnight.
