Anyone who has worked with factory production long enough has seen “Just in Time” inventory theories result in missed customer deliveries. ISO (pick a number) always looks good on paper. Likely nobody here is old enough to remember QLP, they come and go.
Weather minimal staffing is another trendy management monster, or just your management being cheep or incompetent, you have my sympathy (for whatever good that does).
