I really do feel bad for Florida as Dorian is going to make landfall at the worst possible time, when their tides are already very high and just coming out of a new moon.

I’ve got family in Florida too. My dad and my brother are both on the Gulf side, but I still worry.
Here’s hoping things don’t get too bad for anyone. At least there’s been a lot of forewarning.

That is very good actually and a lot can change between now and landfall. Heck, the projected path was completely different earlier today. It could change again before landfall.
You just have to prepare for the worst, while hoping for the best.

I have a question regarding Communities.
Does joining one impact you being in a guild – meaning, do I have to join only on unguilded characters? Or, are they completely separate and do not affect each other?

My dad’s in the panhandle, a couple miles from Alabama, my ex is in Jax.
She usually drives up to visit the kids around this time every year, to hit our renaissance fest and state fair. Het plan was to arrive on Sept. 7, but she’s not sure she’s gonna be able to make now with Dorian bearing down on them.

Whelp. Been here for less than an hour and it has already gone off the rails. Need to find a way to do the work of 4 people minimum with 3 people. I hope people answer the texts when they wake up and I get some help.
This minimalist staffing already backfired once this week. It is about to explode today, as i fear people will not answer because they are burned out from the week.

Not even the promise of overtime is going to get them there.
You get toa point you do not want to put up with it. They are all pretty much there.
Since my main house is in Flagler County, I hope it turns back out to sea.

It is being so wishy-washy right now with its pathing.
Current models are showing it moving more eastward and not making landfall in Florida. But they are still warning that it could make landfall anywhere between south Florida and South Carolina.
Either way, I expect to see lots of rain and nasty winds here in Georgia when it gets closer to us. We are about 60 miles inland from the coast.
Hopefully you won’t see any damage to your home in Flagler.

That’s generally the case with minimalist staffing in general. It gives you no reserve in case of an emergency or even unanticipated workload.
