Argh, that moment when you realize you have to somehow figure out how to get a freshly baked pumpkin cheesecake out of its springform pan now because clock is ticking and you have to bake another cheesecake right now!

/runs to Amazon app to order another pan so this issue doesn’t come up again.

A fork will solve the problem quite nicely. Of course, it does create a whole new issue - you have to bake another cheesecake.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I ended up using the spreader tool thing for my crepe maker since it is long enough to cover the bottom of the springform. Then just slid it into a pie plate. It wasn’t a pretty sight of course. Thankfully it doesn’t have to be pretty to be yummy, lol.

And second cheesecake is almost done now.

Roasted the butternut squash yesterday and let the cats try a tiny bit. Nope. Not having it. All three said no.

I really don’t think they like human food.

Mine love people food. Stormy is a huge fan of bacon. Nemo is obsessed with olive juice. All of them will pretty much eat whatever they can manage to get their paws on.

I think my cats are defective.

Our cats were didn’t eat “vegetables”. One of them really enjoyed one KD noodle. I was on the receiving end of a dirty look when she realized it was “vegetables” and not 100% cheese.

On the other hand we had two cats who would try to eat my chilie. One definitely would clean the bowl when I was done. I guess tomato sauce isn’t “vegetables”.

That is just it, Willow LOVES vegetables normally. Esp leafy green ones. I have to keep all plants away from her and I do share salad leaves with her. I put a few in her bowl and she is always happy about that.

The others want nothing to do with anything human. Heh. I guess it makes it pretty easy for me to eat without them begging.

I admit that got me laughing. Like a tiny furry toddler!

Similar. The stray that used to visit our house was all for having more. He didn’t care if he got vegetables with his cheese.

Brother-in-law came over for the first time since covid. Boy, can he talk. And loudly. One thing has really irked me is he pulled out a vape pen and started smoking thc. I think he should have asked first. I’m not a prude about it, but we don’t smoke. :rage: I won’t say anything because it’s the first time we have seen him in forever.

Oh no :frowning: That does just seem rude.

My sister is bent out of shape as well because her brother in law showed up with 3 dogs, without asking. My sis has a new house and 2 cats… I think she is going to make him keep them outside.

All he had to do was ask first, but she is not going to make a fuss either. Her whole house is full of said inlaws at this point. Something like 12 of them.

She invited me. I said thanks, but heck no. I think she would rather be here sharing my quiet little chicken meal.

You could always place a sheet of wax paper over the pan, flip it, then flip it from the wax paper onto the serving dish.
