Well, got some good news. My sister decide to give me her old Ford Taurus. It’s need a little TLC and maybe some transmission work, but it’s a good car.
Oh yeah, I’ve been there now and then to farm various things. I usually use goblin glider. Bird taxi takes forever. (They didn’t take out goblin glider while I wasn’t looking, did they? There were rumors that would happen.)
And news gets even better. My friend works at a tire shop, and is gonna give me a good deal (employee discount) on some tires and a battery.
Just need the transmission looked at and get the title and insurance squared away.
Still works in the open world. Does not work inside instances anymore from what I have seen. But thankfully, the Whispers of Rai’Vosh toy still works. Has come in very handy numerous times in raids.
Oh, maybe I should try that next time I run Naxx. I fail all the time at jumping to Thaddius’s platform. I tend to forget about it because I play paladin so much that my first answer to a falling problem is always bubble. Obviously doesn’t always solve the problem, much as I hate to admit paladins aren’t all-powerful.
BBQ induced food coma gave me a quick series of dreams capped by one hostal. I was sitting at work but the power went out and the A/C fan spend up to the point that it was really loud. I could hear a voice during that time, getting more upset as it talked. I couldn’t pick up on everything it said. Though it finished what it had to say after I had gone outside and closed the door after the power came back on and the A/C unit continued to get louder.
Oh and the sound of the A/C fan was actually coming from the fan on my bed next to my head.
Lol Vrak has said they sometimes have a sort of spidey sense on these things haha
It still works.
Huh, for some reason I’d always thought that rest XP only applies to monster kill XP.
Maybe I’m mixing it up with the LOTRO equivalent again…
rested in game only shows that killing “monsters” counts. now xp potions and heirlooms work on quests.
Monster kills will shorten the rested XP. Turning in quests still gets the rested benefit, but pushes the benefit further out.
So if you have 50,000 rested XP, and you kill a mob for 1,000 XP, you get 1,500 and your rested falls to 49,500. If you turn in a quest for 10,000, you get 15,000 but rested XP stays at 50,000.
I hope that made sense.
Much obliged!
15 years, and I never noticed that the rest XP bonus applies to quests as well as kills…
interesting…gonna have to test that out then, and see how well i can do.
Went to bed early and ended up getting up at 3:30 am. I felt okay for a few hours and then the earaches and such crept up on me. Now I have a sore throat and the occasional slight chill. Unfortunately, in an hour I have an appointment I can’t get out of. Ugh.
ninja hugs Gnome before running off to get food
I do this when leveling in Pandaria. I do the Halfhill quests, hop into the inn to get the rested buff, then hand in the quests.
wait…will this work for Classic as well, or just the Live servers?
It should work, Back in my Vanilla days it worked then and has worked that way ever since from xpac to xpac.
tried going back to Live servers (or Retail if we’re being specific) and…i dunno. the new character models still don’t really appeal to me. no disrespect meant, but…i kinda prefer the older style over the newer ones.
i’m gonna stick to classic for now…though if i ever get a better PC that can run WoW better than i am currently…i may consider getting BfA and trying it again…though i’ll probably still stick with Classic, cause i’m enjoying something i never had the opportunity to do before. xP
k…i’ll have to try it out next chance i get then.
Yeah, one of the things I enjoyed during the stress test (still haven’t made it onto live classic yet) was how much smoother it ran on my aging, probably won’t even work with next expansion computer.
