In all my years playing, over so many alts, I never noticed that it applied the rested to quest turn-ins. I just figured it shifted the rested out further, without boosting the turn-in XP.
I love pet battle week for leveling alts. I do the Pandaren pet battles - double experience for both the battle and the pet battle quests. If it’s Darkmoon Faire week, the Whee! buff is the icing on the cake.
So, question.
If I hearth out of Nazjatar before completing the opening scenario, which I cannot seem to complete as I am way way WAY undergeared on this fresh 120, will it mess things up? Will I be able to return and pick up where I left off?
Seriously, this dude is not even 300 ilevel right now. I am not quite sure what I was thinking other than complete the unlock the heart scenario before I do the Honorbound emmissaries so the AP does not go to waste haha
I took a fresh 120 into Nazjatar and completed the opening quest line, though it was a pally. Which part are you getting stuck on?
I would imagine if you hearth out, you would have to drop the whole questline to pick it up again and get back there.
I cannot kill the person that gives the 370 weapon. One of the 3 quests that Thralrysa, or however you spell it, gives in the cave before you ever meet your friend that takes you to Newholme
Edit and just like that somebody else was finally working on that quest at the same time and I am by it…next hurdle haha
Yeah, I believe that is an elite. But glad you got through it!
Sitting here trying to figure out how it’s already dinnertime, then I remembered I slept till 3pm.
#notsorry
I understand fully, I really liked the way things were set up back then, Things felt more challenging to me. I wonder if anyone in Classic has kited the elite boss dragon from Duskwood (Dragons name escapes my mind) to Stormwind and everyone would fight him including the NPC guards; That was a Blast!
I don’t think they look too kindly on that, because you’re taking him to a place where he will one shot lower level players.
I kind of assume that when the world dragons are introduced, they will be leashed.
apparently someone in my guild on Classic was saying a player managed to kite Stitches from Duskwood, all the way to Goldshire in Elwyyn Forest.
i also remember hearing stories of people who managed to kite Kazaak to Stormwind as well back in the day…
chances are, people will find an exploit and they’ll abuse the ever loving…out of it.
I rember someone kiting that ogre in dustwellow marsh to org so we could lvl up our weapon skills.
My subscription ran out a couple weeks ago on both accounts; I’ve got too much real life things going on with my Mothers passing, Going to probate court for various things, Getting Guardianship for my deaf sister, All kinds of things. All I do now is log in and come to this forum and read what ya’ll are talking about and reply every now and then.
I’ll be back in a couple months playing again and enjoying some of the Classic that will bring back good memories of the past.
Please don’t think I’m prying, but why does your sister need a guardian? It can’t just be because she’s deaf, surely?
Let’s just say she’s moderately mentally challenged, I explained it once here about her mental capacity a few threads back and it upset some people the way I put it. Simply put she can’t make decisions for herself, Can’t work like normal people, Drive, She goes to a work shop for these type of people 3 times a week and gets paid for piece work which companies send for them to do also they get rewarded by getting to go on outings, Ball Games, Fishing, Out to eat, etc.
I made a promise to my Mother before she died that I would not abandon her and would make sure she was taken care of for as long as I live, And I plan to have something in place for her in case I go before her.
That sounds like a more extreme version of my brother. Thanks to a particularly strong case of Asperger’s, my little brother doesn’t see the point in doing things that he doesn’t see the point in - like helping with chores or getting a job. My parents have become very adept at getting him to help out, but he’s really not capable of supporting himself.
I’ve promised to take him in when they can’t support him anymore, and made that very clear to my partner and roommates that it will happen at some point. I just hope that we don’t drive each other up the wall like we used to when that happens.
Whew, I am all give out - we hosted a dinner for my daughter’s 30th birthday.
We had: ribeye steaks (1½ inches thick), asparagus, roasted potatoes, corn, salad, & (homemade) german chocolate cake.
Now we are gonna try and relax (and recover from tonight) whilst watching John Wick 3 & Dark Phoenix.
Unfortunately My Mother contracted German Measles while carrying my sister which caused her to be born premature and having all the disabilities that she has, Not only mentally and deaf but also physically as she has to use a walker to support her as she walks.
I admire your promise to care for your brother, You have a good heart.
I have that recorded on the DVR and when my wife has time we will watch it together.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Big hug.
