[CS Lounge] It's dangerous to go alone, take this!

Don’t get me wrong, they’re amazing fun. But sometimes people who have never been in one can get… well, a bit rose-tinted about what it’s really like.

Oh I was totally kidding. If I get a Beta I get a Beta. If I don’t, I don’t.

Totally not sweating it, was just feeling kinda goof offish and silly

Good lord, the neighbors are going nuts. The neighbors are having a fight about something…plus the thump thump of someones bass speaker is going and it’s 11pm.

I had a rude awakening a couple months back that I didn’t share, I was sleeping soundly when suddenly I heard 2 loud explosions, I rushed to the door and there 2nd house over across the street from me was a Military Humvee and solders coming out the back of it and all up the road there were white plain SUV’s with their blue lights flashing in the grill, around 20 of them total.
I then saw everyone in the house being brought out in handcuffs, Come to find out the explosions I heard were percussion grenades that were launched through each side of the house to disorient the people inside.
I later found out that it was DEA agents and they busted my neighbors for dealing in H***** also they found quite a bit of cash inside the home.
I’m glad they’re gone, The neighborhood is so much more peaceful now.

I was in the first phase of invites in WoD. Every time someone did the quest in Shadowmoon Valley to enter the mini-scenario about the Iron Horde invasion, all of Shadowmoon Valley phased for a few seconds. When the phasing ended you could find yourself in the middle of a pack of hostiles. It got so we would say in General chat when we were doing the quest to give everyone time to get somewhere safe. It was half disappointing when they fixed it.

Speaking of Nintendo, rummaging through the closet, I found my old GBA. Why on earth would it not have better lighting?

Learned a new word: potentiometer.

Maybe it’s because they are friends. They don’t want to spoil Shadowlands for you.

Haha I like that.

Slept hard last night. Needed it. Unfortunately my aches and pai s had time to set in too. Gonna be a long day today. But that’s OK. My shift is over before I normally take a lunch. I may be moving slow, but I will still work circles around a lot of em. Including the cook I never want to be on the building with at the same time again with. Oh well.

Started watching RWBY this weekend (CGI/animated series by Rooster Teeth) and started Volume 7 last night. Each volume is a few hours. It’s been really neat watching the production quality improve over each volume. You can see them get more resources involved for things like extras in the background, and general environment textures.

So getting I to car to eave for work this morning and phone rings. It is one of two people. I already know it. Wife knowing she won’t catch me from across the house before I pull out and needs something, or my boss. It was my boss.

Morni g cook texted in last night for today. Not called. Texted. She saw it at 540 this morning. We arrive at 430 in morni g to have everything done. Told her I was on my way. She called the other back up cook as well. Between us we got it done almost on time. It was actually impressive.

Bosses daughter is the kitchen manager and asked if we wanted her to cook lunch. Neither of us wanted t ok dk it, as I just came off weekends and am moving super slow. And the back up only cooks in an emergency. She had no issues. Meatloaf, Mac n cheese, and green beans. Best meatloaf made in this place in years. Easily. And I am not sayi g that because meatloaf is not on my menu haha. She rocked it and it is delicious. And the lack of chaos today has been noticeable. Kind of refreshing really.

The funny thing about being a software tester is I’m more confident in what I’ve tested if I manage to find bugs and report them. If everything is working fine, I’m a little nervous I haven’t tested the right thing the right way.

I go at Alpha testing the same way. (Not WOW, but I play Alphas of other games.) If I’m not blowing it up or uncovering bugs, and just playing a game that’s going to get wiped repeatedly, it’s dull. But when I find and report bugs, like zombie faces that disappear at a certain distance, I feel like I’m useful to the devs.

i thought i could go back at lvl 120 and finish the Death of Chromie more easily. LOLNOPE, it scales me down to lvl 112 and the mobs hit like freight trains, and with only 15 mins to do things, it makes it even more stressful for me. ._.

Wednesday.

Your Wednesday if applied to your work week, but that doesn’t change the actual day, unless you are in a timezone where we’ve crossed into Tuesday. :stuck_out_tongue:
