doing fairly well so far kal…got a pain in the side of my right foot again, but nothing new. working on my Dwarf Hunter on Classic, got a pot of coffeh going cause…why not?
edit: too much water to the coffeh, and it was watered down. ;-;
For as much as my wife and son like coffee, well flavored creamer in their coffee is a lot more accurate, you would think we would own a coffee pot. We just boil water and let it steep in a French Press.
Finally on lunch and there is a very strong chance I will fall asleep. Alarm has been set just in case.
Lord, I had a rough night, could not get to sleep til about 4am.

You mean coffee in their creamer. Which is odd considering that they are using a french press. It’s supposed to be better taste than drip or pour-over but more unhealthy.
I have a French Press, I only use it for making cold brew though (1.5x normal expected grind, room temperature water, straight into the fridge for 18 hours).
These days I use an AeroPress. Much cleaner coffee, much less cleaning. The downside is it only does one cup at a time.
I still need to get a burr grinder and hunt for quality coffee for work. To put through my Keurig.
Well i sucked it up and bought a 100$ nintendo eshop card and now DL ACNH.

You may or may not have seen the news about an active shooter in Nova Scotia. At last report the shooter was dead. So was a police officer and at least 11 others. Thankfully it was not near me.

I saw headlines saying Canada but didn’t read it.
The closest the shooter appeared to get to where i am is 45-minutes away on the highway. He went towards the airport and Halifax. Not as far as Regnyl.

Me too Thundertotem, I finally went to sleep about 10 am this morning and got up at 5 pm, I’m worrying too much about things I should just let go but I can’t.
I read about that just s little while ago, The report I read was he was still alive when they arrested him at a gas station then died just after being arrested, It’s sad that we live in a world of uncertainty and have to look over our shoulder everywhere we go. I for one personally conceal carry (I have a permit) and always face the entrance when dining out and always looking for suspicious people.
I just wish that we could have peace on earth but I don’t think we ever will at least not in my lifetime.
Global news just posted Half of the coronavirus-related deaths in Canada have taken place in long-term care homes. Thats just sad.
That is why schools are closed, and offices, and sporting events, etc. A lot of people in a small area with a lot of interaction between people. What’s happening in those homes is an example of what happens if you don’t practice social distancing.

Sadly, once it is in, ugh what a nightmare to deal with. ESPECIALLY if you are unaware. This is why we are taking such extreme measures at work. We have a quarantine area set up. Any new resident, no matter what, goes to that hall for two weeks. They are not allowed to leave their room, at all, and the door is only opened long enough for staff to enter and exit the room with full PPE gear on. Nothing permanent enters the room as well. At all. No laundry in or out, no housekeeping. All explained before admission and signed off on by the resident or power of attorney.
No outside visitors are allowed in the facility, and all residents have their temp taken multiple times a day. Our admin is going above and beyond the corporate policy and has even gone toe to toe with corporate over some of her policies in order to keep it out of our facility. Smoking access is restricted to very specific times,staggered by hall the resident resides on as well.

In other news I am very sad to report that apparently I am not friends with Orlyia, Vrak, Kalv, or anyone else at Blizzard. I still don’t have an Alpha. That cuts deep people. It cuts deep indeed.
Wife made some homemade chicken pot pie tonight. Oven was acting up. She was getting upset. Pulled the oven out when I got home and it looked as if the plug was loose. Plugged it back in and no issues after that haha. It was delicious. Now I am sitting here goofing off watching videos relaxing unwinding from the day. Unfortunately I need to be back at 6 in the morning. Oh well.

Alphas really aren’t that much fun. It’s basically volunteer work to check for bugs or game issues. And even those of us who are friends with one of the aforementioned peeps don’t have access lol.

That’s not fun? I loved the first beta I was in which was Wrath. Fell through the world so many times I lost count. Loved alphas and betas ever since. Frustrating at times? Sure. Hilarious at times, too. Plus it feels good to me to try and help Blizz out with reports.
