Hope you all enjoying yourselves this evening. Just ordered me some grub from Domino’s. Ordered two pepperoni pizzas and a chicken alfredo pasta.
Also got three root beers with it. 
Should be arriving here shortly. Going to watch a movie when it arrives!

I ordered a large meteor from BP for supper for me and my step dad and have enough leftover for lunch tommorow.

welp. day’s off to a…start to say the least. x_x woke up at 2, went back to bed around 5ish…woke up just after 6, tried to make some coffeh…only to find a damn bug in the coffee maker. (not sure HOW it got in, considering i haven’t used the coffee maker in a few days now. <.<)
but i made a trip to Timmy’s got my B.E.L.T. and a lrg coffee. brought it home, added my creamer and sugar to it…not bad honestly. pretty decent for Timmy’s i’d have to say, though its been a long time since i bought a coffee from them too.

We need a break in this weather pattern soon. Too hot. Too humid for this time of year. The lawn is turning brown again and my tomatoes have given up the ghost.

I normaly dont work sundays because of a mix up with my vacation had to work sat/sun sun/mon are usualy my day ok no big deal im gaining more then im losing 4$ extra premium for working sundays but glad i dont do this more often.
Having a terrible night. yesterday Dad has started to put his final plans together and started to make arrangements. He informed me he doesn’t think he’s gonna make it to next summer. he said he gonna go to DC this winter and visit his sisters for the last time. Today he’s gonna be cashing out his stock. So I was told to put plans into motion. I still need to let my sisters and brother know.
So I have been crying all night and a complete wreck.
So I am gonna be on edge for a few months…

Checked in on him this morning. He was up watching news of the hurricane, we talked for a little bit. I’m feeling a bit better but still on edge.

I have a cousin that lives a bit north of New Orleans. When my uncle spoke with her, she was ready to go in case she needed to, and had already sent her granddaughter ahead to somewhere up my way-ish. Hopefully she actually did leave, and leave in time. Suppose I could check FB…
Yesterday was a pretty active day for me - took a pretty long walk with my dog along the Missouri River. It’s an old rail-trail that runs between the river and a huge cliff face (probably in the neighborhood of 100’). Later in the afternoon, I took her to the dog park, since we haven’t been going lately - too darn hot for it. She played pretty hard for about half an hour, and was absolutely gassed when we got home. But today, she seems to be favoring a front paw. Not sure if she hurt herself or if it was just asleep, since our morning walk seemed to go alright. I suppose I’ll keep an eye on her for a few days and see if it gets any worse.
And it’s finally cooling off! We’re going to be below 90 for the first time in a few weeks. And lows down around 60 for most of the week should help with things, too.

on a lighter note…i’ve got a “bug” problem. found one in my coffee maker, as well as another in my utensil drawer. notified the landlord and he’s gonna contact an exterminator tomorrow.
been up since 2 this morning and haven’t really felt tired yet…which is a concern, considering i took a siesta yesterday around 11 and woke up just before 17:00…which MIGHT explain why i was unable to sleep last night. x_x

Yeah. Largest operating steam locomotive. There was one that was larger overall, but there are only three of those left, and they’re all on static display.
You really should take the kids and go see it - it’s well worth the effort. The drive wheels are almost 6’ tall. The thing is massive!

here’s to hoping they get a hold of an exterminator and fast. the sooner this pest problem is dealt with, the better. with the lack of sleep i’ve been getting still, this is the LAST thing i need on my mind, as i’m approaching the 2 year anniversary of my father’s passing so…to say my nerves are frayed is a bit of an understatement.
if any thing, i feel just emotionally, physically, mentally, spirtually and psychologically exhausted. x_x
on a lighter note, Poc that must’ve been an amazing treat. i don’t see trains all that often, and usually they’re trains hauling containers, though occasionally i see a passenger one every so often.
i hope to some day take a ride on a passenger train before my time is up. i think my mother would appreciate it honestly. that and i’ve never ridden on one before so it’d also be a treat for myself too.
