Oh, that must be heaven. Wanna trade? Where I live is a major railway hub … it is nonstop trains. all. day. all. night. TRAINS :train2: :train:

When I did my study abroad in Switzerland, we traveled mostly by train to get from Zurich to our research station. Then again when we had free time and could visit other cities.

Though, I will have to admit that bus ride back to our city late at night after visiting another city for a Blues Festival was very entertaining. They pack you in like sardines, but it came with a show (it was Carnival week). Needless to say, some people had partaken of the partying just a wee bit too much. Thankfully the bus had security on it, so no danger … just hilarity.

hmm. may have to petition the Council for a mage portal then. i mean Merd COULD lock summon me…but he’d have to be in the same area as you with someone else to do the summoning. so port may be the best option. :stuck_out_tongue:

Look into excursion trains. They’re pretty neat, generally affordable, and normally an out-and-back one day trip. Well worth it, especially in the fall and winter.

Just don’t get on a crazy train, those tend to go off the rails.

They don’t run them in Nova Scotia. Most rails here were lifted and made into walking trails.

That’s a darn shame.

But on the plus side, Rail Trails are great for exercise.

I jave decided Oklahoma weather is trying to both cook and drown me

It is SOOOO hot outside. Then it starts to rain. Uh oh wasnt supoised to do that today

Run to car to rill up windows at work. Starts to pour. I get soaked. Get back inside and it subsides.

TIL. China seems to allow children to register accounts ???

I ran

https://blz.cn/zh-cn/legal/4ac4d7fb-f007-4c62-92ff-886c6a4c127b/暴雪战网最终用户许可协议

Through Google translate and compared it to similar ones for the US and Taiwan

While they have the natural person thing as a requirement to make an account they don’t have “needs to be an adult over 18” in it anywhere. Unless of course Google Translate is missing some context.

There also restricting children to 3hrs of playing video games.

I should know better than to get into a Kingdom Hearts game, by now…

Being a completionist is a detriment, sometimes.

fav Calvin and Hobbes strip, is when he put crisco in his hair for class picture day. his mother made him comb it out, and he said he “looked like a dork”, so Hobbes fixes his hair up, making look like Astro Boy.

still makes me laugh to this day too.

My favorite Calvin and Hobbes book is Killer Mutant Snow Goons. I laugh so hard when I read that.

It’s being lowered to one hour.

On the one hand, I only played games on the weekend. On the other hand, we didn’t really have video games. I’m sure it would have been a different story if I were born more recently.

This weeks what if is very tragic and is proof why time travel shoudnt be messed with. My fave non canon calvin and hobes is when calvin on his deathbed and passes hobes onto his daughter or son cant rember. 1hr in china thats not any better.

Ir was a GREAT What If man.

I am really really digging this series
