Watched Wheel of Time today. Really digging it. Great job adapting the story. Maki g me want to pick the books uo and reread the story.

also, nearly spelt “duel” as “dool”…cuz that’s how tired i feel atm. 
mostly preoccupied with Terraria’s Calamity mod. (patch 1.5 dropped a few days ago) and another MMO. i may pop back in for Pilgrim’s Bounty on Tues for the cooking recipes i need.
also watching vods on twitch to pass the time. one guy was playing the norse DLC for kingdom two crowns, and it looks really neat.

I actually just started listening to the audiobooks, which is a bit difficult since I don’t drive all that much, and that’s really the only time I do audiobooks. I might start watching the series this weekend, since it’s a longish one for me.
I do have to work Friday for a few hours, but it should be pretty easy, since most of our clients will be closed or minimally staffed.

I’m also enjoying the Wheel of Time series. I read all the books. That was one long series. I would get the next book when it came out and give it to my Dad to read after. He actually passed away before it ended. So did they author. His son finished it.

Riding a wave of depression. All came crashing down with the holidays and not having my family.

I decided to combat it. Going ro Walmart after work to look for a fake tree i can put up. Some stockings i can staple to my wooden slat wall. For me and the boys. Think it will help.
First time in almost 2 decades not cooking a holiday meal for the family. Not doing anytging for myself either. Its ok though. I will get through this. And birthday is a few weeks away as well.

I know how you feel Mast, This is the first Holiday season it’s just me and my sister, I’m still going to do everything just as if they were all here.
(Wife left me a year ago Nov. 6th after catching her with another man, I should have listened to my friend from Laos while I was getting all the paperwork together to get her here from China on a fiancé visa when he said: "Just wait until she gets here to the USA and becomes Americanized; We would have been married 10 years this coming 02/02/2012, Although she forgot to check one thing before she left me and that is you have to be married for 10 years before you can draw Social Security Spousal benefits at her time of retirement, Now she’s begging me to wait, Ha! I believe she had this planned all along to leave me and then save as much as she could and move back to China taking the money she had saved with her and drawing off my social security, She could live like a queen with our dollar being worth 6.6 of their Yuan currency; Ha! Ha! I get the last laugh, She ruined it by meeting another man. I caught her with a tracking device I put on the car she was driving that was in my name.)
I’m also going all out with the Christmas decorations too this year mainly for my sister and also the last year we will be living in this house.

I feel ya - all my family and friends are soooo far away. And the Lions don’t help with my mood, either.
I just saw a paper a week or so ago saying people who put up Christmas decorations “early” are happier. Not sure if they’re happier because they do the decorations or if happy people put up the decorations early.

Make yourself a new tradition. Make some cornish hens, some stove top stuffing and a few spiked egg nogs and celebrate by watching the Lions make fools of themselves on National tv.

I thought Jordans son finished it. I may be wrong. Probably am. Maybe he just passed on his fathers notes? My Dad quit having children after 3 girls. It ended the family line in the US and in England. All the kids were girls.
And all his grand kids were boys. Go figure.
