[CS Lounge] Centaurian Autumnal Celebration

Missed the delivery of my title papers for the car last week. No biggie actually off at a decent time today. Do grocery shopping, stop by insurance agent to get a reprint of my insurance card(original never made it to me in mail) and stop by post office.

Like 50 people here. Yikes.

After this off to tag agency, thats right no dmv, to pay taxes and fees. Nothing like droppin a g right?

Edit. Ouch. It was more

Learnt a new term after watching WOT makes sense considering the character
Fridging’ is the practice of killing off or hurting a minor character in order to motivate or torture a main character.

These damn cataracts suck. It’s gotten to the point, I cannot read the quest text ingame. The black on parchment makes things really hard to focus. I am sooo looking forward to the surgery

Have you tried the Immersion addon? It alters the way quest & dialogue menus are presented.

Someone just kited Doomwalker down to CoT. I encountered them just before the vendor buildings, at the bottom where the path splits in two. I helped heal them on my druid while they brought it the rest of the way.

Christmas tree just went up. And the snow started right after. :snowflake: :christmas_tree: Lake effect machine has started up.

Tradition here is that the lights go up the day after Thanksgiving, I’m going all out this year being it will be the last Christmas in this house. I just hope that we get some significant amount of snow this year.

On another note I went tonight to get a turkey for Thanksgiving, Went to the Wal-Mart near home, All sold out, Went to the Wal-Mart on the East side of town and sold out there too, Finally found a 24 pound Butterball on sale for 98 cents a pound in a small town about 10 miles away 15 minutes before they closed.

I cannot believe Boogie is 11 today. I still remember the scrambling around his birth like it were yesterday.

Happy birthday you sarcastic quick witted little turd. I love you with every fiber of my being.

I’m off tomorrow, so will probably start pulling out the Christmas decorations, with an toward finishing up Thanksgiving afternoon. Will be the first time decorating since my ex moved out (with half the decorations, natch). After I see what she left me for ornaments, will probably order a bunch.

Car’s back in the shop, so will have to see how expensive that gets before I can decide whether to get more of these awesome LED lights. :christmas_tree:

I had heard that there were shortages some places.

48¢/lb here, no shortages.

Other than the current problem finding truck drivers to hire, I don’t understand what would make the difference between locations this year.

I’ve shopped for groceries at a Walmart perhaps that’s the difference?

Gooooood morning folks, I hope you’re having a nice weekend.

Got to finally see Eternals, and then caught Ghostbusters. Was afraid the Ghostbusters movie was going to be pretty shallow fanservice but it was actually a pretty decent addition to the series

I’m still worried about The Matrix though :expressionless: Maybe I’ll be surprised there too…

Since we smoke turkeys all year round, we typically don’t do a traditional Thanksgiving meal. This year it’s going to be crab cakes and wall-eye cakes with side dishes. I’ll also be making a ham with Asiago cheese and green onion quiche for breakfasts.

The only tradition that has held true over the years is watching the Lions (win, lose or tie?) :lion:

Well hopefully one more trip down the rabbit hole will be worth it like the new avatar movies hoping to see ghostbusters this weekend my self.

Food Lion has them on sale for 39 cents a pound but good luck getting there when they have any.

Here’s what Walmart said about the supply for Thanksgiving this year:
Walmart raises forecast and says shelves are stocked for holiday shoppers | Fox Business

They sure didn’t have it covered for last night at either Walmart for this whole City; You would think they would have plenty being this is North Carolina and has plenty of Poultry and Pig/Hog farmers here in the state.

I buy mine after New Years when they go on sale. I am a season ahead. They last just fine in the freezer. :turkey:

House is smelling so good today. We are baking a ham and cooking a mess of mustard greens.
