Credit card problem

It may well be that the forms of payment you are trying to add are not accepted in the US region of battle.net. If you contacted billing, which would have been a suggestion on my end anyway, and they could not help I am not sure that the forums would further achieve an answer either, sorry.

I’ve never heard of anyone being charged extra for not having a reoccurring subscription.

Let’s start with some basics.

  • First, which country are you subscribing from?
  • Do you have any payment methods attached to your account currently? You can check HERE
  • If you do have payment methods set, check them to see if they’re expired. If they are, remove them.
  • What type of payment method are you trying to use? Credit card, debit, paypal, etc.
  • Are you able to just purchase blocks of time from Blizzard? They don’t charge any differently for a block of time than they do for subscriptions. You can check via the Blizzard shop: https://us.shop.battle.net/en-us/product/world-of-warcraft-game-time

No, I just logged in, gave it another shot in-game, and this time it didn’t hold me iat the billing adress screen, I got pass that and I was able to submit my debit card information and it worked. I’ll check my tickets in case they said they did anything and post it here if it happens.

Why am I getting a unknown error for entering my card info for payment method its a direct express card from comerica bank for ssi clients

Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or AmEx? I don’t think they accept anything else in the CC field.

Its bullcrap cause you lose money based on player base some are disabled with nothing else to do and only pay they get is from ssi SSdI or ss that want to play wow but can’t cause the method they have is direct express MasterCard fix it cause you will lose player for this issue

Debit Mastercard, It’s a debit card not a credit card there is a difference. If you would like a debit/credit card from a bank then you should ask them if it is something they offer.

That’s okay, though. They accept MC debit cards because that’s my primary point of purchase.

Well the option on blizzard website say credit or debit

I’m not able to find this on the support article, what webpage are you seeing it? They’re accepted, but they aren’t mentioned.

Are you getting this issue solely on one web browser or multiple? This is directed towards Crimsonmage, not the quotee.

Then contact Support and maybe they can assist you with the issue.

You can use your card for online purchases as long as the retailer accepts MasterCard debit as a payment method.

Ugh they need to fix this honestly I dont want to have buy blizzard balance cards honestly

Who says there’s anything to fix? So far nothing is broken. There’s also the high probability that it’s something Blizzard simply can’t actually do anything about. Like tax rates.

Regardless, posting here will accomplish nothing. Follow Kneanderthal’s advice and reach out to a billing representative to see what the low-down is on the situation.

Cause I been using a prepaid debit card but can’t use direct express debit card had to change card cause other one cancelled due to exes fruad activities

From what I was reading about that card they have had their own issues with fraud. You might want to reach out to Billing or you can reach out to the Bank itself to see if there is a restriction on the card itself.

Well I just got the card new card in general order last months negative 16.50 over draft for expedition mail and can’t pull money off something with no money as it is
