I have a bit of an update for everyone.
It looks like our teams are working on a couple of possible fixes for this issue. I don’t have an ETA on when they will be applied but they are currently in testing and hopefully can cycle onto the live realms if all goes well.

Maybe this is getting addressed in tomorrow’s maintenance? No other formal mention that this is happening, but seems flooded over the forums. Maybe SL launch will be better. Such hope so.

Second day of not being able to login again. Like most people, I only have a finite window to play. Fix this please or give us more game time.

yesterday it took 45 m to come back up for me its already been an hour and 1/2 sitting here unable to play
I can’t get in the game either.
I get to character select, and when I try to load in I get the “character not found” message.
Side note: both of my Night Elves with the Night Warrior skin appear as completely blacked out.

To relay information to the forums? Have you never contacted a support agent for anything in your life? I’m very confused what your point is. Everyone serves a purpose. You can’t expect the guy fixing the server to stop what he is doing and relay information to you every 10 minutes right?

Same issue here, Character Not Found… frustrating
I understand the likelihood is low but can you pass along any information about maybe a cause or something similar. I think one of the issues that makes this so aggravating is the complete lack of communication from Blizzard. While I appreciate that you are chiming in from time to time effectively you’re providing no valid information when doing so (through no fault of your own). For some folks (myself included) any kind of information regarding what could be causing the issue would at least make me feel better that its actually being worked on (rather than, as I suspect, nothing is currently happening and you’re hoping tomorrow’s maintenance will fix the issue).
Same boat, Jozza. Really hope Blizzard will hire more support staff. I feel badly for them (and us).
just came back last night now i dont even have my toons anymore real great blizz hope shadowlands is good this with that might make me finally quit for good
Hi! Since yesterday, I have not being able to log in. First, my realm (Ragnaros - Latin America) appears empty (no characters). If I go to the character list, after a while, the characters appear but I get “Character not found” error when trying to log with any of the characters. Hope this helps.
