Hey, just reporting I’m having the same issues, same as last night, I get realm list with no toons listed, log in to my usual server (Daggerspine) takes a bit to load but it loads my toons, however, when I try to log in to any of them it attempts to load and get a character not found error.

That has happened for many expacs Seldonmane. I just open the collections tab then close it again while in battle and it “refreshes” the pet battle as is. It’s rare, I think I have only done it a few times since MoP.
shouldn’t be surprised there’s some bugs man the patch just dropped yesterday…

jesus people, we all know we pay for this game but give blizz a break. Games are actually pretty hard to get right and QA is not always the best. Be more kind - they’re obviously working to resolve it. After these issues, now they can forecast issues for game release <3
Blizz, do you have an update on the issues? My husband is able to get in but I can’t so you obvi favor him

You misunderstand, Naoma. I’m monitoring the ticket that was entered to investigate and address this. I’m not in a discussion with that team and at no point would it be appropriate to add to that ticket “btw, folks are upset and want compensation”.
It isn’t a stretch that everyone involved is very much aware of how frustrating this issue is, that is a given. I am simply providing the appropriate means to provide feedback, if you were so inclined to do so.

yeah my friend is able to get on-- But he says its sort of a laggy mess at the moment, but he is just doing fishing dailies.
Same thing here got disconnected. Went to log in all my characters are gone

Just reporting that I am having the issue as everyone else. “Character not found” for every toon I try to log in with.
Adding my name to the list. Have pre-order. Was able to get on late last night briefly, but only after having this issue. Running into issue tonight again.
Damn bro, sorry you literally have go through this abuse. I am also experiencing character not found on Stormrage. Thanks for passing this on to the tech support. Stay strong with all the Karens blowing up at you.

Night 2, same issue on stormrage. Black character selection screen, loads in after a few minutes… then “character not found” about 80% through the load bar. Allied races unavailable in new character creation screen. Try to create a standard race character, get an error saying “character creation timed out,” regardless of whether exile’s reach or classic starting zone is selected.
If there is no update on root cause or ETA on that ticket at this point, it’s absolutely time for you or management of some sort to update that ticket and say “Any ETA at all on remediation? We need to get an update out to customers ASAP”
