Me and my wife are also getting the error with mail when we try and transfer our characters. Characters are Gomma and Mythra on Whitemane. Can you please help us Orlyia.
Have you recently done any quests in the Plaguelands? At least one of them has mail set to be delivered within 48 hours of completion, and cannot be bypassed.
Do either of you have anyone on ignore? Any mail they send you is merely hidden from your view, but technically still exists.
We did do some quests in wpl on sunday, namely the araj the summoner one that I can think of, so that might be it. We both don’t have anyone on ignore so I don’t believe it’s that.
It was Plaguelands quest mail, Gomma - both of your tickets have been answered, you should be good.

It means they both put in tickets that were answered.

Yes, this is the exact character I’m trying to transfer.
They were straight up purchases, and were successfully delivered… they were for the warfront contribution quests.
I bought them within an hour of servers going online with the new patch, I brought it up since @Alita posted that the GM they spoke with thought it might be something with the AH.
Thank you Savako. Given the major changes this last patch made to the AH, wouldn’t surprise me at all if they are somehow connected, but that hasn’t been confirmed. This info is helpful.

I’ve noticed a lot of people have been having this trouble of late. I’ve tried clearing cache, removing players from ignore list, but the client still tells me I cant transfer this character because of mail in the mailbox.
I haven’t sent anyone else any mail. I just bought (buy-out) some items from the AH after servers went live last reset. I opened a ticket a day ago and no response yet.
I really need to transfer this char soon cause I’m joining a new guild and I do not want to be loot locked before the new raid comes out. I’m hoping a mod notices this soon and can help!! Please >< And thank you
While the moderators are not able to fix these sorts of things (it likely requires a development fix), they have confirmed that it’s a known issue and it’s being looked into
Gonna throw my two cents in here.
I’m getting can’t transfer due to mail/active auctions. Don’t have any auctions or mail visible to me. Tried deleting and undeleting my character (Which as far as I’m aware you can’t do if you have either auctions or mail?) and that didn’t fix it. Been ~14 hours since I encountered this issue and it’s still a problem.

So apparently the bug everyone seems to be experiencing is due to using the new AH and purchasing more than 1 stack of items at a time, lovely…

I get the same error and opened a ticket, I hope it gets fixed sooner than the 19 hour response estimate
Consider me one of the unlucky ones. I did have current auctions before the patch so I think this might have something to do with it.
